This is our second time staying in this rental apartment; if you are looking for somewhere to stay in York, you honestly could not find anywhere more perfect. It is a beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable apartment right in the center of beautiful York. It is such a nice place to come back to after a day of touring around. It is near everything! A short walk away are great restaurants, shopping, groceries, and it is very near all of the attractions like York Minister, the Shambles, Betty's Tea and the City Walls walk. Ben and Katie are so pleasant to deal with, we really appreciated how responsive and friendly they are.

Group of 4 enjoyed our stay in historic York. Apartment had everything we needed with small but workable kitchen, comfortable beds, and great location to access local sites and transit stations. We liked getting fresh bread at the bakery across the street and groceries at convenient Tesco express next door. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby as well. Host provides clear instructions for code entry to the apartment, good for flexible arrival times. We did not use the additional single bed that's available upon request for an extra fee. The apartment has a few steps in it to account for the house settling at different levels, and street noise/conversations can be heard clearly through closed windows, so may not be the best choice for individuals with mobility concerns or very light sleepers. But the apartment worked well for our needs and was also a great home base for excursions to Knaresborough and Harrogate, Thirsk, Howardian Hills, North York Moors, and Whitby. Would return.

We had a great stay in York! The location was amazing, however, possibly due to it being Easter, it was very loud on Friday night, but the other nights were fine. The location is brilliant, we found the flat clean and in great condition. Toys for our son - these were a hit! During the stay I had a question about the hob and they were so quick and helpful which was amazing.

For bookings made with less than 48 hours to arrival, the Booking T&C Form must be completed at least 1 hour before arrival at the property. For insurance and security, the check-in details are not provided until the Booking T&C Form has been completed and signed. Home address, phone, email, all guest names and photo of a valid government issued ID must be provided on the form.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
  • If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
