I absolutely loved staying at Juan‘s place, it felt right at home and honestly, I did not want to leave. The bed was so comfortable. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing and the beach is literally one minute walk away. It’s just perfect for anyone working from home and the buses stop less than a five minute walk for weekend adventures. If you’re considering this place, just go for it. You will not regret it.

Unfortunately, this was not a good stay, and I ended up leaving early. Firstly, the unit is effectively on a highway opposite an industrial port. You will not get to see any of the charm of Las Palmas unless you walk 25-min or bike 10+ min. The beach it's next to is not one most would want to swim at, as it's a cove basically that looks out at shipping containers. The nice beach is on the opposite side of the peninsula. Second, the apartment has a major fly problem. If any window is left open the place gets inundated with a flies. Third, Juan is very responsive, I will give him that, but when the bike was stolen, he sought to recover from me more than double the fair market value of the bike. I ended up replacing it with a nicer bike he acknowledged was like new for less than half of what he had tried to make me pay. And then he breached our agreement around the payment I made. He also became pushy when there was no need to be. Accordingly, I can't really recommend this rental.

This apartment is even better than it looks in the pictures. It is full of light, comfortable and that balcony is amazing. It was nice to have a desk and both my husband and I could sit at it. Juan is a great host and responded quickly to any question or inquiry. The location on Alcaraveneras beach is nice, but as others have pointed out it is on a main traffic circle and can be quite loud at times, but only with the balcony doors open. If you close them it is much quieter. The only thing we didn't like about the apartment was the bed - it is comfortable, but it is the loudest bed I've ever slept on and would wake us up in our sleep with banging noises when either of us would just roll over, let alone get in or out of bed. Juan said no one else has ever complained about this so maybe it isn't a problem for everyone, but it definitely was for us. Overall highly recommend the apartment and Living Las Canteras.

The apartment is bright and functional. Good location, you can quickly reach the center as well as the highway on foot. The view is beautiful, you look through the highway to the city and the beach. The beach can be reached in two minutes. The host was always available and very helpful.

I stayed with my partner for over a month for work. The apartment makes you feel at home. It is simple and has everything you need to live, even with toiletries and cleaning products as well as ready-to-use kitchen items. Bed with a very ergonomic memory foam mattress, two large sofas (one of them can be made into a bed). Large TV screen that matches the description, very comfortable electric awning… and endless small positive details that facilitate the feeling of home. The Living Las Canteras team was always attentive and kind, quick to respond to our questions or resolve small issues. Perhaps the kitchenware could be improved, such as the pans (they are not made of stainless steel and the food stuck easily), pots and cutting boards (the large one was sticky to the touch and we could not remove it despite cleaning it several times), the rest was a 10. We even tried out the coffee maker. To be repeated ✨🙏🏼

Loved this place! Every morning, I woke up to a super pretty view. The house is in a cool spot with a chill beach where you can swim without big waves. You can also play volleyball there! Plus, they have two bikes, so I got to ride around and see the Old Town. Stores and places to shop are really close, which is handy. The people who run it are super nice, too. Totally think you should stay here if you visit Las Palmas!

Great place to stay in Las Palmas especially if you are working remotely. Juan is very responsive and solved my problem with the clothes washing machine (which im sure was my fault anyway) quickly and without issue. Lovely spot near shops and beach with las canteras just down the road and you can use the bikes provided to cycle there in a heartbeat. Will be back to this spot or maybe one of the others managed by this company as they have thought of everything for your stay.

The lodging corresponded exactly to the description and the photos. It is centrally located and you can reach everything very quickly on foot or with the bikes provided. Juan communicated all the information needed very well. It was a completely relaxing holiday.

If you’re a digital nomad or traveling by yourself, I would highly suggest this place. Affordable, great communication by the host. I will be looking into staying here again next time I come back to Las Palmas.

This is a fantastic place overall! I highly recommend it. Highlights for me: - Lovely terrace, amazing view, has an awning so you can use it any time of the day. If you try hard enough you can see sunrise from it:) plus furniture ideal for chilling as well as eating. Just perfect! - Big windows in living room - even when you're inside you can still enjoy views & sun. - Perfect place for longer stay and/or workation. Fast internet, desk, extra monitor. - Very well equipped apartment: kitchen has anything you might need to cook (big plus for coffee lovers: it has french press, drip and stove-top coffee maker, you can choose your favorite). There's tv with youtube option, washer, ironing board, even yoga mat! -Bikes are an amazing addition. On top of that Juan was a great host - very communicative and helpful. The instructions for reaching apartment/bikes etc. were top notch. He also shares a local recommendations for places worth a visit - nice touch. Thanks for fantastic stay!

The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay. The location was great for exploring Las Palmas on foot and there were good bus connections. Great and quiet beach just across the street. We received prompt feedback if we had any questions. Good sun conditions and laugh for wind on the terrace all day.

It's a great apartment, especially if you're looking to do some remote work while in Las Palmas. The self check-in is great if, like us, you arrive late in the evening, or don't like to talk to people. The location is wonderful: not only are you just a street crossing away from Playa de Las Alcaravaneras, but there were TWO different pizzerias offering 2 pizzas for 10€ within 2 min walking of the apartment.

This modernly furnished apartment is all exactly as described. The big terrace overlooking the harbor and Las Palmas and the bike were the absolute highlights for me. The apartment is located in the center of the city with lots of traffic and starting point for all activities. I felt comfortable here

We loved our stay at the apartment. It looked just like on the photos and had everything one can need for either tourists or remote workers. It's greatly located, just a 2 minute walk from the beach and there are also grocery shops and bakeries within walking distance. On top of that, Juan and Pepe were extraordinary hosts - responsive, helpful and very kind. We hope to revisit one day, and meanwhile don't hesitate to choose this place and enjoy it the same way we did! :)

Lovely place to stay whilst I was working in Las Palmas. Very well equipped and super clean. Walking distance to supermarket, and a little further on to a strip of restaurants and city center shops. Only thing to note is that it's near a busy road, but the traffic sound didn't bother me too much. Hosts are brilliant, top check in instructions.

To be my first time with AirBNB, it was the best . The owners are super available and helpful The apartment is even better than the photos and to get around it is good because you have the bike track that in 10m makes you reach from the other part of the beach Las Canteras which is nicer. It's a little noisy when you open the window through the position, but if you close your problem, it's resolved One of the nicest things are the bikes because you can go around many around and visit places like the cathedral of Vegueta or the theater of Alfredo Kraus that are worth to see and are connected to the bike path that is in front of the house The parking lot is. If you have a car, you have to be lucky if you can say because there is a possibility because there are no stripes and there are always no striped places in the area to leave the car . Sunday's blue lines are free It is very close to the HIPERDINO where a little of everything is written and it is on the same straight from the apartment and there is no CENTRAL MARKET a 6m walk away and the SPAR that is open for 7 days

100% recommend. I made my stay longer because the apartment was just perfect. It was super clean, very well-decorated, had all necessary & handy stuff, perfect location, and with a spectacular view from the balcony. The balcony was especially so lovely! I spent time there all day, having sunday brunch and enjoying the beautiful night view etc... It had a retractable awning and it was very useful. Also the location was nice. There was a department store within 10-minute walk, and the beach/park within a few minutes. Juan and Pepe were very very friendly, kind and helpful! They were always prompt in responding to my questions/requirements. I'm very happy that I was the first guest of the apartment. Would like to stay there again! :)
