★ ADULTS Only: LIVING ARTENARA offers a relaxing environment, perfect for resting, disconnecting, or remote working from a peaceful place surrounded by nature.

★ Located on a south-facing hillside, the property receives direct sunlight almost all day and is sheltered from the northern air that blows in the area.

★ Our accommodation mantains a relatively constant internal temperature all year round. A modern mechanical VENTILATION and AIR DEHUMIDIFICATION system guarantees maximum comfort. In addition, we have included an electric heater, to help warm the room up on colder nights.

★ Open plan BEDROOM, LIVING ROOM and DINING ROOM layout. The whitewashed walls amplify the brightness of the room. In September 2024 we upgraded each bed with premium REGINA hotel mattresses by Pikolín, providing firm support, exceptional adaptability, hypoallergenic protection, and breathability.

★ Your REST is our inspiration: comfortable mattresses (150 x 190 cm in the large bed and 2 90 x 190 cm mattresses in the single beds), rustic but light decoration, many points of warm lighting, board games for family fun...

★ The BATHROOM has been COMPLETELY RENOVATED in August 2023. It has a shower.

★ The KITCHEN, with a rustic touch, is equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric and Italian coffee makers, kettle ... as well as all the necessary utensils to cook comfortably.

• A yoga mat.

★ The accommodation offers access to the LAUNDRY ROOM only for stays of more than 4 nights, every MONDAY and THURSDAY, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

★ And the jewel in the crown: its INCREDIBLE PRIVATE TERRACE! Between sky and mountains, the smells of the countryside... It is ideal for moments of meditation and yoga, or to enjoy the fantastic local cuisine washed down with a good wine and in great company.

★ The entrance to the building and, therefore, to the 4 accommodations, requires climbing a flight of 14 steps. There is no access ramp.

★ The VIEWS of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga are AWESOME.

★ The property is surrounded by incredible walking trails. Some of them give access to interesting touristic sites, such as the town of Tejeda, the Pinar de Tamadaba, or Acusa Seca archaeological sites.

★ The accommodation is located next to the Cave Houses Ethnographic Museum and the Artenara Tourist Information Office. Very quiet area with hardly any cars. Easy to park.

★ Verly close to LIVING ARTENARA you will find a couple of supermarkets: SPAR Artenara (350 metres away from the accommodation, it opens Mon-Sat: 09:00-13:30 / 17:00-20:30. Holidays: 09:00-13:30 and Sundays closed) and UDACO Artenara (280 metres away from the accommodation, it opens Mon-Sat: 09:00-14:30 / 17:30-20:00 and Sundays: 09:00-14:30 / 18:30–20:00.)

Guest access
★ LIVING ARTENARA consists of 2 cave houses and 2 apartments, all located in the same building. Cave House & Terrace is one of the two cave houses.

★ In STAYS longer than 5 DAYS, our guests have access to the LAUNDRY ROOM, which has a state-of-the-art washer and dryer, as well as detergent and fabric softener, all free of charge.
Other things to note
★ LIVING ARTENARA is LIVING LAS CANTERAS' new brand, which was created in March 2021 to manage these four exceptional properties in Artenara.

★ Experiencing nature, respecting and living in harmony with the environment is part of the DNA of every inhabitant of Artenara. Those are the principles that sustain the vision of LIVING ARTENARA. To preserve an atmosphere of calm and silence, LIVING ARTENARA is only for adults.

★ Artenara is not a nightlife destination. Restaurants are closed for dinner from Sunday to Thursday most of the year. Buy local products in the supermarkets of the village! Several of them remain open 7 days a week; They are well stocked and offer very competitive prices! In addition, our accommodations have a perfectly EQUIPPED KITCHEN to cook comfortably. In any case, near Artenara you will find Tejeda (about 15 minutes by car), where you will find a wide range of restaurants, for lunch or dinner.

★ There is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site in Artenara: Risco Caido and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria Cultural Landscape. It is the perfect place to learn about the spiritual beliefs of the first inhabitants of Gran Canaria. The visit to its Interpretation Centre, in the village, is highly recommended.

Hands down the most beautiful place I ever stayed at! The views alone makes this Airbnb a 10/10. But they didn’t stop there - all was very well organised, clean and practical. We were there for 10 days and did a lot of trail running and remote working. Fast internet and great set up to work! Beautiful trails right out of the door. We enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to be back!

The most beautiful view we have ever had from any apartment - truly stunning! Well run and managed, fast and responsive, very nicely presented, very clean, with everything we needed for a nice stay.

Excellent unique spot in the tiny village of Artenara. The terrace is a dream, and the nearby hiking is exceptional. The cave is cozy and comfortable. Would love to return.
