If you want to experience a beach holiday, the lively, interesting Spanish fair and enjoy delicious food, Las Canteras is a perfect area. In Ana's apartment, you immediately feel at home. My husband and I enjoyed the great view from the balcony. There were unexpected problems in the first two days, but they were immediately clarified by Juan and his team and resolved to our satisfaction.

Very nice apartment, highly recommended! The apartment with the view of the beach and the sound of the sea at night were simply fantastic - exactly what we wanted. On the weekends, it can get a little louder on the promenade and in the surrounding restaurants, but since the apartment is on the 5th floor, it was not disturbing for us. The support from the Living Las CANTERAS team is impeccable, clear information, timely communication and super nice. Since everything worked out during our stay, there was no need to contact the team with spontaneous requests. The rooms are very spacious and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need. We definitely didn't miss anything. The entire accommodation is very clean and well maintained, especially the bathroom is cleaner and more immaculate than in many hotels. The living room is very cozy. An absolute plus were the beach chairs, parasols and beach towels. All in all great

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment—it looks exactly like the pictures! It’s cozy, clean, and has a spectacular view that made our mornings and evenings extra special. The apartment is incredibly well-equipped with everything you might need. From several coffee maker options to a hand mixer (which was perfect for preparing baby food), kitchen towels, soap, shampoo, and more—it’s clear the hosts have thought of every detail to make guests feel at home. Even a bottle of water was waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch after a day of traveling. The host is super friendly, always available, and very helpful—quick to respond and fix anything if needed. We really appreciated the attention and care they put into making our stay comfortable. We spontaneously booked a vacation for 1 week in this accommodation and it couldn't have been better. The place has a great location and is perfect for 2-3 people. Our arrival went very well, with app for the front door downstairs and with passcode for the apartment door. You get an extensive description for the apartment. Where, for example, the garbage has to go, laundry can be washed, etc. We initially had problems with the app for the front door, but after an email was written, a new access link came right away. So also a very quick help with problems. All in all, I can only say that this week was really very nice, we couldn't have imagined it better. Thanks to the Living Las Canteras team for the smooth stay!

We loved our stay here. Right by a wonderful beach. It was spacious, clean, and had beautiful views from the balcony. Juan helped us arrange transport from the airport and it couldn't have been easier. Amazing.

The location is excellent both for its views from the balcony and for the bathroom area. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has everything you need to feel at home. An extra is that it had an umbrella, chairs, diving goggles... The only downside is that parking is difficult. In short, a place to go back to.

Once you've mastered check-in, it's a fantastic place to stay. On the 5th floor with a fantastic view of the bay with beach and sunset. Lullaby of the surf included. The apartment is perfectly equipped, even laundry detergent is available and complete beach equipment. The owner provides super good descriptions of all facilities and great vacation tips. In the immediate vicinity, everything for physical well-being.

We enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is situated right on the beach with lots of restaurants and a large grocery store nearby. The hosts have provided everything needed for a nice stay including chairs, towels, and an umbrella for the beach. The only issue we ran into was noisy construction and drilling that started before 9am every morning and continued into the afternoon. It sounded like someone was working on the apartment directly above. Since no other reviews have mentioned this, it’s likely temporary construction that will hopefully finish up soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sunset. The apartment is in a great location, with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets around the corner, let alone the beach is just 20 meters away. Juan and his colleagues were friendly and always willing to help, responded quickly and provided reliable information. We recently spent a few weeks of vacation in this apartment and really enjoyed the stay. Their host is very friendly, with whom we maintained very smooth and helpful communication at all times. The apartment is very cozy, as shown in the photos and has the necessary amenities. The best thing, without a doubt, its location and the terrace that although small, offers an extraordinary view of the beach of Las Canteras and gives you some wonderful sunsets. We would definitely stay in it again.

The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. Equipment for our little daughter was provided from the beginning. The apartment was clean and bright. The contact with the rental was friendly and always available, and we were helped immediately with questions. The location is really great, you have a wonderful view and practically stumble from the door directly to the beach. You have to be aware that there is a locality below the apartment that is open until about 11/12 pm, so you will not only hear the sound of the sea in the evening. The time is completely fine on holiday, however. Overall, we were very satisfied with the stay and would recommend the accommodation.

The location of the apartment is just perfect. Juan was always available and everything was perfectly organized. There were plenty of tips and also good offers e.g. discount on rental cars. Juan regularly asked very nicely if everything is good. The apartment was very clean and the beds were very cozy. Looking out of bed to the sea in the morning is ideal. This apartment is everything what it claims to be and does the pictures fully justice. The location is great literally 10 steps away from the Las Canteras beach and the view from the balcony is spectacular. In the apartment you find everything needed for a pleasant stay such as a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, sun chairs. There is even a desk and a monitor if you wish to work from here. During our stay we got several messages from the host to assure that we had a good stay and with helpful tips and at the day of check-out we got a small picnic bag with sandwiches, fruits a drink for the journey. A small but appreciated gesture. I can heartily recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay at Gran Canaria and Las Palmas.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Sitting on the 5th floor veranda and watching the life on the beach and on the beach promenade was fascinating. We had everything we needed in this great and modern apartment. A well-equipped laundry room was a nice bonus, here there were also chairs and beach toys, etc. Communication with the landlord was impeccable! Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment with that breath taking view. And minutes away from the beach and the calmest part of the bay. Very safe for young children learning to swim. It has a fully functional/well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Thick mattresses for solid sleep to the sound of the waves. And you get the view from every room. Watching the sun set from the balcony after a day on the beach was phenomenal. It’s also a very short walk to the supermarket and the food market with tapas bars, butchers, cheese and veg. Easy access to fantastic restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and super helpful. Their Communication with us was clear and prompt throughout our visit. They were so kind to give us a huge basket of treats as a welcome gift. I’ve had the best Christmas ever - so lovely to see some of the old restaurants have survived the pandemic and the wonderful people who run them are still there. I hope I am lucky enough to come and visit this slice of paradise again some day.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this review! After spending five weeks both living and working from there, I loved every minute. It’s absolutely ideal for a couple or solo digital nomads (like myself). Work Review: If you plan on working from here, it’s ideal if you use the desk in the second bedroom. It’s soundproof too so it’s perfect for zoom calls/hangouts. The wifi was super fast, I never had any issues and I hosted many workshops sharing my screen with multiple participants. You can also escape to the stunning balcony and be inspired by the outstanding views for extra creativity. 10/10 for a great workspace. They also provided a monitor for my laptop. Holiday Review: I made a lot of friends here and I have visited many apartments on the island but I have to say I chose the best one with this apartment! The decor is so gorgeous too. There is so much space and I loved the layout. It’s not cramped at all and you can pack everything away in the storage spaces so you’re not living out of a suitcase, you can really settle in. The best part of this apartment is the view. You can see Tenerife at sunset sometimes too. I spent most evenings on my balcony looking at the sunset over the island. You have the view of it so take advantage of that. You can also hear the waves all day and all night, it’s heaven. You don’t actually get a lot of noise from the beach crowd or even people walking on the prom which is great too. The washer area is so handy, there’s beach chairs and basketballs and snorkels too! The kitchen appliances are impeccable. I spent a lot of time cooking so it was handy to have everything I needed. The location of the apartment is perfect. Everything is on your doorstep. I felt so safe here too. As I said, I was solo so safety was important. My hosts Pepe and Juan were always there if I needed them and made me feel so welcome. Would recommend this place 100% - worth every penny :)

The apartment is an absolute dream! Great views, very clean, everything you need and a great location. Within a minute you can lie on the beach and enjoy life:) Juan and Pepe are just the best! You have an uncomplicated, very nice, helpful and fast communication with the two of you. Airport transportation also worked flawlessly. Especially to Juan, a big thank you for spontaneous handling of an extension of the stay due to a flight cancellation. We felt very comfortable here and would come back any time!

Oh, where do I even begin? I think it's entirely possible that this has been the BEST Airbnb stay I've ever had (and I've stayed in a number of truly amazing places). First off, the team at Living Las Canteras (Juan and Pepe) are nothing short of amazing. They've made everything about my stay absolutely perfect – from arranging an airport pickup to giving me a warm welcome upon arrival to answering ALL of my questions. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure that no stone is left unturned. Now, for the apartment. I've already "threatened" that I'm never leaving this place. The apartment is beautiful. Super clean. Well-appointed. Comfortable. And well, let's face it, the view overlooking Las Canteras Beach – including a front-row seat to incredible sunsets – is second to none. I've grown so accustomed to working every day from the balcony, listening to the waves crash below, that I'm now questioning why I haven't made Las Palmas my permanent home. Finally, the location is amazing. The apartment is near all of the fun on the paseo and a close walk to pretty much everything, whether you want to explore nature in El Confital or if you want to stroll over to the Old Town (Vegueta) to see beautiful colonial architecture. And have I mentioned that the Canarians are some of the most welcoming and friendly people you'll ever meet? Everyone is willing to help you out, give you pointers, and even be patient as you struggle with your Spanish-speaking skills (I'm still very much learning but improving every day!) Truth be told, if I could give this stay 10, 20, 30...even 100 stars, I would. It really is that special. I guess that's why it should come as no surprise that I'm already planning a few return visits. I'm hooked. This place is magic. (But if you decide to book this place at a time I'm planning to return, we may have to have a serious chat...) Thank you to the team at Living Las Canteras for making my first trip to the Canary Islands absolutely perfect. I came here a bit down and out, after 6 months of lockdowns and curfews, and I'm leaving here feeling like myself again. I came here in search of happiness, and that's exactly what I found. So thank you for making that possible.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying in the apartment and couldn't have imagined a better way to spend those few days around new years (especially with these challenging covid times). We loved how we could bring the outside in - the sound and sight of the waves, xmas music from the sand sculpture exhibition, people enjoying themselves at the restaurants below, the street performers and the new years fireworks all to be enjoyed from the balcony or inside the very comfortable apartment. We spent hours on the balcony just reading, people watching, eating meals, enjoying the weather. It was perfect for feeling like were were part of it all, whilst letting our baby girl sleep. We also made a habit of going for a swim early every morning and meeting some of the regular crowd there as well. It's something we could definitely get used to. I would say that it may have even felt more like home than our actual home in the Netherlands. Thanks for such a great experience!
