This place is right across the street from the Camden tube station which is very convenient but it is on the main street next to a sex shop and bar. So noise is an issue. Luckily we stayed there on a weeknight and the host provided ear plugs but it would have been nice to have been alerted of this in the listing. The space was also smaller than pictured and the entrance is on the street. There are also a lot of narrow stairs. When you walk in you immediately go up a flight of stairs to a landing with a bathroom and then more stairs to get to the kitchen which was very small. Then you have to go up another set of stairs that are narrow and windy to the bedrooms. The bathrooms are very small. The beds however were very comfortable.

If you’re looking for accommodation around Camden Market, this is honestly one of the best places to stay. It was a real pleasure staying at Clive’s place. The house matched the photos perfectly and was exceptionally convenient for a family with children. It offers two double bedrooms plus a sofa bed, which worked very well for us. The area can be a little lively at night during the weekend due to the market, but it was not a major issue for us at all.😊 The biggest advantage is the location. Camden Town Underground station is literally a stone’s throw away. This made travelling into central London effortless, without the need to drive or pay congestion charges. The nearest parking is on Pratt Street, which was also very convenient(and cheaper!£18 per day) There are plenty of excellent food options nearby, and Clive is incredibly responsive and friendly. The instructions provided were clear, thorough, and exceptionally well organised. We would definitely stay here again.

Great flat, location was excellent, close to everything, lots to do! Good space for 4 of us for the weekend! It was noisy due to the pub with live music next door. Check in involved a walk to a shop to collect the key which was a bit inconvenient after a long journey.

Just what we expected, Camden is bustling so not for anyone wanting a peaceful break but exactly right for us to travel around London. Perfect and Clive was very friendly and helpful. Clive is super friendly and even allowed us to check in early. The Airbnb is super clean and smells fresh. It has everything you need and is super easy to reach with the public transport. Unfortunately, it is right next to a pub and the street is also very noisy in front of the door. But Clive has already prepared earplugs for the night :))

Everything as described in the listing. For us, who knew what we were going to the apartment and London everything has been easy, 6 pax accommodation well located, quick arrival, cleanliness, sleep and sightseeing. Nothing negative, just as indicated in the ad that it is somewhat noisy because it is in Camden, next to the metro and close to pubs and food places but for us it was no impediment, just to remind people who book but we arrived so tired that at night we did not hear anything.

We had a really great stay in Clive’s apartment. Clive communicated very well before and during our stay. The apartment was perfect for us. It’s a bit noisy at night from the street, but that was to be expected and I think added to the stay. There was no noise from inside the building though. Being directly opposite the tube station made getting around London easy. We will definitely stay again when in London.

The house is in a fantastic location. The tube is right across the street. There are great bars and restaurants throughout the neighborhood. Yes, it is quite loud, but with the supplied earplugs we slept soundly. The beds are very comfortable. The linens and towels were great. Clive was so responsive and kind. I would stay here again!

Great location. Very busy area 24-7 Lots of daytime and nightlife The Underground is opposite, bars, clubs, bike stands, supermarket. It has a bar downstairs and the train that passes by didn't bother us at all and we slept great. The decor is very nice, but the beds are much better, they are spectacular and the bedding too. The shower is excellent. We'll definitely be back

Fabulous apartment very clean with a few little extras tea coffee etc. Comfortable beds and fresh towels. Located very close to tube station which is a bonus for getting out and about but made evenings /early hours noisy, but this wasn’t a problem when we purchased ear plugs the next day which helped. Not ideal for young children, is situated above a sex DVD shop, so we had a few questions from the children lol however a great option for anyone else. Host was great at communicating, answered lots of questions with quick responses. The instructions and guide was perfect, had all information needed. Thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay

The apartment was very dirty, the only clean thing was the bathrooms. Very dirty floors, everything was very dusty and the carpets had a lot of stains and dirt. Although the host proposed to send a cleaning team, the idea is that everything is clean when you arrive, not that they clean it during (with your things inside and more in my case, as I travel with 2 babies). They charged me 2 nights when I only stayed 1, because I had to move (with everything that entails), which seemed arbitrary to me. In addition to the poor cleaning, the apartment is smaller than it looks in the photos (stop taking photos with a fisheye or .5 as it makes no sense to deceive people. There is a lack of ventilation, especially at night and more so if it is hot. You cannot stay there. The mattresses are very bad, it's an old sponge. Normally, travellers are not in the apartment more than at night to sleep, having a bad mattress ruins the holidays. I think they should change them. It wasn't right.

This accommodation is very convenient, close to metro and bus stops, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The apartment matches the photos and has all the basic amenities. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. During our stay, the water heater suddenly stopped working. We followed the video instructions and tried to troubleshoot, but there was a minor leak downstairs later on. The host arranged repairs and mentioned it might be due to an unclosed tap, though we had checked everything before leaving. We’re sorry for any trouble caused. There may have been some misunderstandings during communication, which caused stress on both sides. Still, we appreciate the host’s follow-up and believe things will go more smoothly in the future. Overall, it's a well-located and equipped place. If you're sensitive to noise, bringing earplugs might help, as the neighborhood can be lively at night. Thank you for the stay.

Clive's apartment is a really cool place, provided that you are looking for a true Camden Town experience. It's right in the heart of it all, just adjacent to the Camden Market and within string distance of lots of nightlife. The apartment is full of rock and roll memorabilia that suits the neighborhood well. Clive was great- very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Couldn't be a nicer guy. All of this said, if you are someone looking for a quaint, spacious and/or quite place, this is not the spot for you. This should not be taken as critical, rather that it is a cool place that is not for everyone.

Clive was a fantastic host. Had to cancel a previous host due to them not responding or being available to check us in. I booked in with Clive straight away and within 2 minutes he had messaged me with instructions for check in. We picked up the keys at a nearby shop which was open 24 hours. Check in was very easy. The apartment was clean and was perfect for our weekend stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in the Camden area. Very central and right beside the Tube Station.

The flat looks exactly as it is in the pictures albeit a bit smaller in real life. Being right opposite the station and in the heart of Camden was very practical but obviously a bit noisy at night, which didn’t bother us too much. Camden is a vibrant area with lots to see and do and the proximity to the tube (northern line) is amazing to explore the rest of London!

Many positives about this property and we would come again but impossible to ignore the fact that it was incredibly noisy. Our three nights included Friday and Saturday, no doubt the noisiest, and the pub next door had live music till 10:30 and then didn't shut till 3. and then the punters were around till 4ish. In addition one was very aware of the subterranean rumblings of the nearby tube station. Otherwise very good.

It was so nice! It was so convenient because it was right in front of the subway station, and it was nice to have both a Korean mart and a local mart nearby. We were so comfortable for 5 nights and 6 days. The host was also very kind. However, it was a little noisy on the weekends because it was near a bar, but there were earplugs in each room, so the noise wasn't that uncomfortable. I totally recommend it!!

Well-located home in the heart of camden Town, a subway station right next door. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Apartment that matches the description. We had a problem with the heater that was fixed very quickly. The environment of the apartment remains very very noisy. There are pubs just down the property and you could hear everything.

Clive is a trusted host, very responsive and pleasant. The listing matches the photos. Quite a few steps with carpets, poorly insulated so rather cold and very noisy (bar concert opposite) even early in the week. Bedding ok, bed linen and clean towels. shower very good. accommodation located right in front of the metro, very convenient and very lively neighborhood. I recommend it in summer.

My family and I were quite happy with Clive‘s apartment. It was as featured. The only recommendation for other travellers is when you’re picking up the key, you’re not exactly close to the apartment so if you are travelling with a taxi , have the taxi wait while you get the key and drop you off at the apartment. Otherwise you will be like us, travelling up the street with your luggage 😆! Clive was very responsive when we ended up with a broken fan. It was replaced by the next morning. In terms of location it was absolutely perfect accessible to London and many great sites. As far as the loud bar next-door and street noise, it is in the heart of a busy city intersection. The one single room was most loud but earplugs helped. The apartment can definitely accommodate five people comfortably. For those from North America, their kings are actually queen beds.

Amazing central location, stones throw from camden town station and bus stops, walking distance from camden markets. Place was as listed, comfortable stay. Place was clean, good amenities. Poor communication given the thread in the AirBnB app is actually monitored by an AI and not human, which we had to work out ourself. Given wrong address initially in confirmation email which lead to confusion- having to look through the listing to contact the host via Whats App rather than the ease of having them in the thread made this even more difficult. Host was helpful and apologetic once contacted though.

Host super helpful and friendly. Sadly the place is not super nice. It is okey but not more than that. I am used to sleep with a noisy environment but this was something else, sleeping with noise cancelling headphones and still the sound from outside the apartment was so noisy and hard to sleep. The beds was quite hard and not so comfortable. Cleaning okey but not more than that and the place was quite old with cracks etc in the bathroom. Uk standard is always lower than rest of Europe where you almost always get great value for the money, sadly this was not the case with this Airbnb. But easy area to explore London and nice host and a good size Airbnb but other than that I would not recommend. 🌸

This space is literally in the heart of Camden! Having the tube stop across the street was ideal. So many restaurants and shops within 5 minutes. The pub next door is such fun and the apartment feels like living in a treehouse. It is loud but the host provides earplugs and fans for each room. With a nice white noise app we had no problems sleeping and the location was well worth the noise. Clive was responsive and helpful and the space is hip and clean. Perfect for myself, my sister and two older teens!

Clive's unit was a good choice for our stay in Camden Town. I would recommend it. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was sufficient, and check-in was easy. The unit is conveniently located across the street from an underground station. The only thing that I would have appreciated more clarity about was the noise. My family and I live in a very dense urban location, and we are no strangers to the sounds of city street life (loud vehicles, pedestrian chatter, etc.). This noise was appropriately disclosed and mentioned in prior reviews, and was fine on week nights. Friday and Saturday nights were different because the pub below hired a DJ to play randomly sequenced hard rock songs from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM on Friday night and a britpop band to play on Saturday night. It was very loud and we did not sleep well. That isn't Clive's fault, and it may not always occur, but this potential additional noise is something that should be considered if staying on a weekend.

This apartment is absolutely bang in the middle of Camden, if you want to fully experience Camden this is THE place to stay. The apartment is perfectly laid out, stairs going up to a little toilet and on the same floor a combined Kitchen/Lounge area which we loved sitting in windows open in the evening taking in the hustle & bustle of Camden over a glass of wine, go up another set of stairs and there's two bedrooms and another bathroom with shower. Due to limited space (as you would expect in Camden as property prices are very high) a lot of thought has gone into the layoutb& making the most of the place. You have to collect the keys from another location first, but this is no issue as its a 5 minute walk down the road. Had a wonderful stay & will most definately book this apartment again next time we head to Camden.

Fantastic flat right in the heart of Camden, right next to Camden Town tube and just a few blocks from Camden Market. Couldn’t ask for a better location with a ton of shops, restaurants, and pubs nearby. And even with the hustle and bustle, could easily fall asleep in the comfy beds. It can get a bit warm during the summer months but there’s fan units in each bedroom to offset. Definitely would recommend to any singles, couples, or families looking for fun, convenient, cozy place to stay in a gem of a neighborhood!

Loved our stay at Clive's AirBnb!! The apartment was bright and clean! The online pictures are an accurate portrayal of the rooms. Beds are comfortable, plenty of storage space for clothing, and having one and a half baths makes it easier on everyone. It was nice having clear directions for the coffee maker, WIFI, and heating. I did not see them for the washing machine, but it was easy to work. It is located in a bustling area- there is a pub beside it and an Underground station across from it. There are also a variety of restaurants in the area and a small convenience store across the street. Just a bit further is a Sainsbury's. Clive does an excellent job with communication and is quick to reply when sent a message. I would definitely recommend Clive's place to others.

Really awesome location! You can see Camden Town station from the window so talk about the centre of nightlife. We stayed during the week but the only noise I could hear was a typical city hum. Maybe people used to the countryside would believe it was very loud but it's nothing abnormal for a city; although I can't comment on the weekend sounds. It's a very uppity-down property which I quite liked, everything revolves around the central staircase which was actually quite a cool place to hang out or shout down to friends. It's cosy and as a converted Camden apartment that should be expected.

The place is very clean and the apartment is updated. if that is what is important then that’s great. It is however, in a very loud part of camden. we were woken up multiple times one night because of a bar fight where a person was hit over the head by a beer bottle. the store owner across the street explained that fights like that on street occurred weekly and many times more than once a week. the apartment is also located directly above an adult store where we had to retrieve the key. so, not a great fit for everyone.

The bedrooms are nice even if the neighborhood is rather noisy. It is not huge (e.g. difficult to eat together for more than 4) but pretty, convenient and the location is really a highlight! The location is great. Right next to Camden Town tube station. Apartment is small but clean and very well furnished. Very suitable for a short trip with up to 6 people. The only point is the lively environment. You should not sleep lightly here or bring earplugs. Otherwise value for money is top for London. Communication is also extremely good. We absolutely loved our stay in Camden! The airbnb was clean and exactly what we were expecting! Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier! One of the best perks was that it was right across the street from the Tube so we had easy access to downtown London! I'd recommend the pub "Elephants Head" to anyone staying in the area!

Our stay here was really great. The location was fantastic as there was easy access to the underground and close to just about every local amenity you could ask for. The place was very well kept and had everything we needed. We also had some issues on the morning of checkout which would have resulted in us overstaying but Clive was very understanding and graciously allowed us an extra couple of hours to get sorted.

The location was good, quite a busy area, opposite the tube, near Camden market which was a nice spot to visit. It was very noisy at night with nightlife so we were glad we took previous reviewers advice and took ear plugs. Maybe not for light sleepers.

I still can't believe how lucky we were to find Clive and his beautiful Camden flat. Our original accommodations cancelled while we were boarding our flight from Hong Kong to London. Clive replied to our early morning text upon landing and pulled out all the stops to see us settled in for a months-long stay despite the global crisis. The flat is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our extended visit. Clive is an unbelievably gracious host who showed true concern for all his guests; we came to consider him a friend during trying times. The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from the Whole Foods and many other grocery stores. I can imagine it's bustling under normal conditions - quiet though it was during the coronavirus crisis, we still felt in the middle of it all and took full advantage with daily walks along the canal to Regents Park. Overall I cannot recommend this flat - or any of Clive's offerings - highly enough.

If you are looking for a clean place to stay with easy access to the tube than I would definitely recommend this place. Just around the corner is the Camden Market with so much to do and see. The draw back to that is it can get very noisy and the windows are thin. The apartment itself is three different levels and a very tight staircase to maneuver so for our family of 6 it was a little difficult, and we had a toddler so that made it even harder. It was just to small for our needs but would stay here again with a smaller group of people.

We enjoyed our stay in your appartment and could find everything that was promised. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. Heating worked very well and it was like home sweet home. Meeting point is easy to find and check-in with your nice colleague was easy and quickly. Camden Town is really worth to discover and I can recommend the Camden Market. We hope to come back soon to your great country.

We had a great time at Clive's apartment, very clean and functional, very well decorated, and above all very well equipped! Great bed linen, fluffy towels, and all in quantity! It was all the little details that helped make our stay perfect. Coffee is provided, as well as soap, shampoo... Small bonus for English plug adapters, it saved us! Perfect location, at the center of Camden, very lively!

Clive was a friendly and professional host. His staff was also available and ready to help. We enjoyed the time spent in London also thanks to this apartment very closed to tube station. The area is 'full of energy' in the night :-) but if you are joung people you will enjoy. Facilities and rooms in the apartment as described, no surprise and care of details in the environment and interior. I can suggest for sure to stay in this apartment. Thank you Clive!

I haven't met Clive personally, but I talked to Anita, she was very nice and extremely helpful. The house it was clean, with a great style and everything was perfect. Camden is one of my favorite neighbourhoods in London, the flat it is situated in front of the metro station, which makes everything easier. I super recommend to stay at Clive's flat.

If you want to experience all that Camden has to offer, this flat is for you. The location could not be better and the space is clean, bright, well-appointed and a great home base for all London adventures. Note that it is "cozy" and sharing a small bathroom is required (the second bathroom is a WC only) and there are some stairs to navigate, but truly, the location and other benefits make it 100% worthwhile. Thanks so much for having us!

Great flat located in the middle of the action in Camden Town, conveniently positioned right across the street from the Camden Town tube stop (Northern line, which gets you into central London stops down to London Bridge). Excellent shops, bars, restaurants and open air market in the neighborhood. Be sure to walk up to Primrose Hill nearby for great views of the city skyline. Flat itself is updated, modern and clean. It's not huge but was big enough for family of four. Street noise from the bar crowd was loudest on Saturday, but that's to be expected for such a central location. Clive was a very responsive host, even as we booked last minute for the very next day. He let us drop bags early and ready for check in even before the time we expected. I'd highly recommend.

Clive's place is in a super convenient location across from a tube stop and a stone's throw away from multiple grocery stores (including Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Whole Foods). The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, and dishes. The flat is small but that's typical for London. Be aware that the neighborhood is 'colorful' with a raucous and lively street scene late into the night. Bring earplugs if you are visiting in hot weather. Clive was a responsive and gracious host and gave us extra flexibility when we needed it.

This flat is in the absolute best location!! It is literally across the street from the tube station, has a great bar/restaurant next door and all sorts of fun within walking distance. It *is* a busy area, so it can get noisy during certain times, but the fans provided do a lovely job at helping cover up that noise. The flat was very clean, and the hosts were extremely easy to get into contact with. The only thing that I would say about this place is that it is vertical - it has a lot of narrow stairs. Not a problem unless you have a handicap or very large luggage - it’s just not something I grasped when I made the booking. Would 100% stay here again.

A great location, very vibrant which is what we wanted and we received perfect instructions from host prior to arrival. I had read former reviews regarding possible noise, so did not arrive uninformed, although the apartment was not as noisy as I expected, I slept deeply and throughout the night. Lovely well designed apartment with all things we needed, including numerous outlets to charge phones and all electronics. We honored the 10am checkout, but I found that a little too early to be expected to vacate space, but wasn’t prepared to pay more to stay an hour or two longer. Thank you, Clive.

We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Clive's apartment in Camden town. The place was well appointed and clean. The location was very convenient, just across from the station and close to all of the great attractions of Camden town. We highly recommend taking a canal boat trip from Camden Lock to Little Venice. The location is quite noisy at night, with a nightclub across the street, so if traveling with kids, or if you are a light sleeper you might want to bring a white noise machine!

We spent a week in the apartment, the location very good, next to the metro and 10-15 minutes from downtown, with supermarkets and restaurants very close by. The apartment was well equipped and clean. It is an apartment that I recommend especially to young people, since the neighborhood on weekends has a great nightlife activity, instead I advise against it for families with children who want to rest since there is excessive noise during the night.

Super location from which to explore London. Clive's apartment is directly across the street from the Camden Town Tube stop, which meant we could get to most any London attraction within 20-25 mins. If you want to experience a lively alt culture, great eats at food stalls, strolling through the fashion/jewelry shopping bizarre, and perhaps stumble upon the next hot band, this apartment would be a great choice. Clive's place is compact and well equipped. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator and modern stove, pots, pans, dishes, etc. There are 2 comfortable double beds -- one is a small bedroom and the other in a more spacious room. The livingroom (attached to the kitchen) has a convertible double sofa. There are also a 1.5 bathrooms, which are clean, and up to date. As with most London apartments, there is no air conditioning, so fans are a must in the heat of the summer

The apartment is a typical English construction: small and upstairs. Maybe it would be more comfortable for four people instead of five. The neighborhood is quite busy, especially at night. Maybe it's not the best option if you're looking to rest, but it's great for a London night out with friends!! Our stay was good!! Clive was always at our disposal!

The apartment is great for 4 people, the 5th sleeps in a sofa bed as indicated by Clive in the listing. The apartment is in front of the metro stop and you have several supermarkets next door, as well as a 24h store where to pillar food and drink in extremis. The main inconvenience was the noise, because we are next to bars and you can hear a lot of jaleo (it also coincided that it was the week of New Year's Eve and weekend). But I must say that it doesn't go like in Spain until 7 in the morning, so the jelly ends relatively soon. If you are looking for total calm, it is definitely not your home. If you are looking for a good location and comfort, with the plugs you can fit the party day. Outside of that you can't hear anything. I would repeat.

We had a great stay at Clive's apartment. Clive was the perfect guest : present before our travel to insure we have all the necessary informations, he stood always available during our stay. The apartment itself is very well located (just in front of the Candem Town tube station) and close to pubs and shops to make your stay easy and pleasant. It took us more or less 20 minutes walking from King Cross so we were able to start our London stay very quickly. Maybe a little bit noisy for familly with young children but for people who wants to discover London by day or by night, it's made for you ; BTW it's also the perfect place to explore the so amazing Candem High Street ! Very comfortable and well equiped, it's perfect place for a family or a 2 couples group.

We met Clive's place through airbnb, it was our first time using airbnb and it worked great. Our expectations were met. We really enjoyed it in London, especially thanks to the apartment's location, which is right in front of the subway station. We enjoyed 5 nights as a family, in the neighborhood there are many restaurant options, both to take away and eat in the house and to enjoy the locals, there is also a large supermarket within walking distance. My stay in the Camden Town flat was very enjoyable. Clive was very organized and responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns both before arriving and during my stay. The location of the flat is wonderful for exploring Camden and the surrounding area. The noise level can be a little high late at night during the weekends from the street, but that seems very typical of such centrally-located accommodation in London.

The place was great. The area was great. Clive was responsive via email promptly. The pub below was very loud friday and Saturday evening, ear plugs are a must (this was already known from a prior review so it was expected). It was very hot and an extra fan would have been helpful but other than that, I would say excellent experience.

The location can be seem as an advantage as well as disadvantage. It is great that the apt just opposite to the tube station but it becomes so noisy during the weekend. I could not go to bed until 3am in the morning. After all, everything was great.

Clive was really helpful and friendly. He responded to my queries super-fast and was very helpful. The flat was great and exactly as described. Comfortable beds, warm or cool as required, and well appointed for cooking, washing clothes. Really friendly welcome and explanation of how things worked. Perfect as a base for seeing London, and close by great restaurants, supermarkets and pubs, as well as on the doorstep of all of London's major attractions. We had a marvellous stay and felt really well hosted by Clive. Cant recommend strongly enough.

Good location of the house. Easy check in and check out. The house was clean and comfortable. However if you are travelling with a lot of luggage then taking them up to the bedrooms is quite a challenge since the stairs are really narrow. However the location is fab. Will surely recommend this place to friends and family.

Location, location, location. The apartment was conveniently located directly infront of the tube station. There are also many shops/restaurants/markets that you can explore around the Camden area. Apartment itself was slightly smaller than what we had expected but was practical nevertheless. It could get a bit loud during the night as it was directly above a pub so maybe bring along an earplug if you are a light sleeper.

Our arrival and key exchange went completely according to plan. The apartment was really nice, with plenty of space for 3 travelers to sleep in separate rooms. The apartment is just opposite the underground station, which of course gives some commotion, but you can also sit in the window and follow the life of Camden.

The location is very good, the area is full of different restaurants and stores. Everything is very neat and tidy, but the apartment looks bigger in the pictures than it really is. The stairs are very narrow, which makes it difficult to take the suitcases upstairs. Our family of five enjoyed our stay in Clive's apartment for 6 days. We didn't have any misunderstanding or inconvenience.

the apartement was as nice as expected, clean and tidy-We were a bit delayed due to problems with our flight, but the team was easy to communicate with, and we were met at the door as agreed when we finally arrived. The location so near Camden Road means some noise during your stay, no surprise, but saturday night disco at the neighbor pub was a bit annoying, and I wound not recommend this place if you are light sleepers. But apart from that, a coo place we would like to visit again

Clive was an excellent host. Great communication, provided lots of information (the apartment had a folder filled with info). Apartment was clean, nice view, very comfortable. The location was amazing in that it is directly across the street from the tube and very close to a Sainsbury's (grocery store). Also very close to lovely shops and restaurants. The neighborhood itself is very colorful and exciting, but I was nervous to walk around alone at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Coming from the USA, our flight was overnight and we arrived in the UK in the early morning. Clive was very helpful in allowing us to drop off our bags prior to using the flat. Anna was at the apartment when we arrived and graciously showed us around the flat. The flat met our needs. We were planning to go our for Christmas dinner, however, we quickly learned that many restaurants and public transportation were not available. We made a wonderful Christmas dinner and had everything that we needed to make it a wonderful experience for our family. The location of the flat is in a very busy area. It is very loud at night as the flat is next to a pub and across from the Camden underground station. Our only issue was with identifying the correct location of the rubbish disposal. Anna and Clive's notes clearly say not to leave the rubbish on the street yet the location of the drop off was not identifiable to us. Our first drop off occurred by running the bag to the rubbish truck when it came through one morning. On the morning of our departure, we couldn't leave the rubbish out on the street so we left it bagged in the apartment which we hated to do but didn't have any other options as the check out time and times to leave the rubbish did not coincide. Conveniently located at the exit of Camden Town tube station, we went there as a family with 3 kids. The apartment, consistent with the photos of the site, is a duplex with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom/toilet at the top, a living room kitchen, and an additional toilet on the lower floor. Very clean, the rooms are small but comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We walked there from Kings Cross, it took a little half an hour. Otherwise, it's 2 Kings Cross stations away for those arriving by Eurostar. Only downside for us, the noise coming from the street, metro and nearby pubs throughout the night. Clive provided us with all the necessary explanations by email before our arrival, a person arrived to give us the keys and explain the functioning of the apartment. All with great kindness. The neighborhood is very lively, lots of shops and places to refuel. If you like animation, go there without hesitating!

The reception was really great. Great availability and attention in helping us take possession of the apartment: we felt "at home" from the first moment. The apartment reflected the description, appropriate to the size of our family, which, with three children, can be called large. Candem is Candem: charming but also noisy neighborhood (and the close proximity to a slightly bustling Pub doesn't help). Super comfortable subway right in front of the house.

The apartment was very close to the subway station (so close you could even feel the train under the ground going by while in the flat) and very well located for the night life, though that made it a bit too noisy at night during weekends, but ok the rest of the nights. One of the rooms is quite small as is the double bed in it. And the bed in the bigger room was broken, but usable. All in all the place is nice and trendy, as is described on the ad, and comfortable to stay in. Clive was quite helpull with some recommendations and information about transport, but the taxi option he suggested was a nightmare! It took us almost 3 hours on a friday evening!!!! We had a great time in Candem, the life and shopping are incredible and there are concerts going on every night! A place to enjoy London in a different way :)

This Airbnb was fine and pretty much what we expected. The location near the tube station was definitely a plus. However, the noise from the street did not make for a peaceful nights rest. I believe double pane windows would really help fix this issue. Clive was very helpful with any questions that we had prior to our trip as well as being available during the stay.

We were warmly hosted by Ela (Clive's collaborator). We just had a little problem with the antifeu alarm that came out by mistake but Ela was very available and made sure to resolve the issue quickly. We found the apartment a little smaller than it appears in the photos nevertheless very welcoming and convenient. The neighborhood is very lively, the apartment is almost across the street from the metro exit and is surrounded by small shops and pubs. Very noisy at night . In short, we had a nice stay.

Flat was clean & tidy....although somewhat tired decoration wise. Double bed was totally missing one leg which obviously hadn't been addressed prior to my arrival. Waste bin in kitchen missing a lid ( apparently broken by a previous guest, but not replaced prior to my booking). Cooker hood ( extractor & lights ).... not working. Standard lamp in lounge area not working ....bulb needed replacing perhaps. All reported , but over 3 days only the waste bin issue addressed, new bin appeared, but old bin left behind ?! . Im realistic ref wear & tear , but missing leg on the main bed a bad miss. I was told that support had been placed under the bed ( bits of mdf ), but this didn't resolve the problem. If sufficient packing had been used to get the bed level I would have never noticed the missing leg. Overall impression was .....hope for the best, nobody will notice. Was a real shame, as these small issues could have easily been sorted prior to my arrival.

We met Clive on Airbnb, it was our first time vacation on airbnb, and it worked very well. Our expectations were met. We had a great time in London. The apartment is perfectly located, opposite the subway station. We enjoyed 5 nights as a family. There were four of us and we were very comfortable. Our teenage children loved the neighbourhood. Clive and his team are highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights in Clive's place, and the four of us were glad with the choice. Our boys (17 & 14) loved the neighborhood, and my wife the apartment. Logistics were made easy for our arrival and departure, and location is excellent (underground station across the street, and many buses swing by the area). Only problem is that was a bit noisy, especially Saturday, but overall has been a great experience.

Clive and team are excellent at welcoming you into their flat. On time, thorough, and attentive to your needs and questions. The flat was as depicted in description with two bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen/living/foldout couch on the main floor. The unit was big enough for the five of us (three teenagers) as we mainly used it as a sleeping place from four long tourist days. The extra half bath was a bonus with five of us. The location was great for convenience to Camden Town tube station, literally across the street. The area has a very busy street scene, with shops, pubs, street vendors, laundry, grocery, banking, all you'll need, right out your door. We sat and watched the nightlife from the units windows on several nights prior to bed and laughed at the antics. The road/pub noise is a bit distracting at night, and there is the occasional bloke that does not mind his p's and q's and has a creative rant at 2am outside the pub, but a couple foam ear plugs makes it all go away. So the best of both worlds. As much pubbing as you want a few steps away with a good nights sleep right upstairs. Another quaint characteristic of the flat is the stair case. Narrow, winding, and very creaky. Do not expect to sneak out to the pub after all are asleep because it will wake the wife (proven). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Camden Town and would easily consider staying here again if ever in the area. Thanks Clive.

The room is quite cozy, the location is quite close to the kings cross, and there is a subway station around the house, which is very convenient.But the neighborhood feels like it's not so safe. All in all a good stay, right?

What a cool place right in the middle of all things awesome about Camden. Loved the location but obviously that means noise. If you are a light sleeper like me I suggest bringing ear plugs. That did the trick! Would definitely suggest it!

Clive and his team were very welcoming. We were provided with lots of information prior to our stay and our few questions were answered quickly. There was 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, a sofa-couch which can almost fit 2 people and a portable fold-out single mattress.

This is a really good base to explore London from - straight opposite Camden Tube station so only a few stops into the heart of the West End, also a short walk from Regents Park. Property is very clean and compact with all facilities in good working order. Would recommend - we were met on time at the property and Clive was helpful in working to our arrival time into London.

A very nice apartment right in the middle of happening Camden! 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, a nice equipped kitchen and everything else you need for a short term stay for 4 or 5 people. You'll find all you need within walking distance, whether it being super markets, book stores, market stalls, post office, music venues, bars or a super cool park for running or playing! Just perfect!

Very disappointing rental despite a good location. Not in the spirit of Airbnb, just a business!!! No coffee machine, little dishes. Window on the street that closes badly. Lots of noise. And very noisy adjoining pub until 4 am while the info indicates that the noise stops at 11am. We regretted our previous address of Camden and our friends are far from convinced by the Airbnb method. In short, never again!!!

Travelling can be stressful, but Clive and his team gave us some peace of mind answering my questions timely and helpfully. Wonderful apartment! We had everything that we needed. The apartment is really nice, with all new furniture and everything is working very well! The location is great, and different that some people commented before we didn't have any problems with noise from pubs or people at the street. We really enjoyed our days and highly recommend this apartment if you want to be in a nice and well locate apartment.

Great little flat in great location! Be aware it is noisy on a Saturday and Friday night but that's the price you pay for such a good location. Kitchen in well stocked for cooking and beds are comfortable. Would stay again

The apartment was really nice, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Anita met us at check in, she was on time (she was actually waiting for us) and very nice. The location was super convenient, right across from the tube station, in the area we wanted be, and it was fun to watch people from the windows while we ate breakfast and dinner. The only bummer, which has nothing to do with the apartment itself, is that it was very very noisy at night. I know its Camden, and I don't mind staying up or being kept up until 3am. But people stayed out on the streets yelling and singing drunken songs until 4 or 5am every night (not just Fri & Sat), then deliveries started at 6am. London was having a heat wave when we were there so we had to keep the windows open, it would probably be a lot quieter it we could have closed the windows. Its a great apartment and a very convenient location. Just make sure you bring ear plugs or drink lots of whisky so you can pass out and sleep.

I stayed 3 days in Clive's appartement it was very cosy, clean and cumfortable ! I will definitely come back there if I come back to London soon ! very close to Camden subway station there are also buses if you come back to the appartement during the night

We had first booked in Clive's Camden apartment, but we ended up in another one in front of Hoffman's square, which was absolutely fine. Very calm, very clean, nothing else but a really great experience. I'll never go in a hotel anymore! Thank you Clive for everything, including the contact we've had with you on the phone, which has been as pleasant as I could expect Hoping we can come back soon, don't hesitate to come and see us when you are in south of France

The apartment was just as we expected! Very conveniently located next to Camden Town underground station and bus routes. It was clean and nicely decorated. My daughters and I spent a week easily moving around London using the apartment as a base. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and it was wonderful having a washing machine available for our use. We enjoyed the close proximity to markets, shops and pubs. Be aware that there are steps to navigate since the bathrooms and bedrooms are on different levels than the kitchen/living area. Also this apartment is located in a busy area. Neither were issues for us since this was just the atmosphere we were looking for! Clive was very accommodating and easy to contact with very timely responses.. He provided all the information necessary to make this stay pleasant. Thank you for accommodating us and making our first Airbnb experience great!

We had a wonderful time in Kentish Town road: the apartment was comfortable, clean, and very nice; the position was amazing, we had the tube station right in front of our door and the Camden markets within 200 m! And, best of all, our host, Clive, was one of the nicest people I've ever met, he gave us lots of tips and advices about what to do in the city and was always ready to help. Thanks for everything! We will definitely be back!
