We had a great stay for a few days in this apartment. The location is great, close to all places of interest, supermarkets, and some restaurants. The apartment is clean and quiet, with a well stocked kitchen and some great views. WIFI worked well. All the details about staying in the apartment were explained in a booklet. The communication with the host was really easy and quick. Thank you Francesca! We will come back!

Really great location, 10-15 minutes from all the main attractions. Yes, It can be tiring to go up all the stairs, so keep that in mind. Place feels like it would be perfect for two—so romantic and spacious just as pictured. Also the bed is really comfortable and the shower gets nice and hot (just give it a minute). Loved having a dresser and hanging space and of course a washing machine was appreciated half way through my journey’s. Host is very responsive as well. Overall lovely stay.

The arrival was very easy with the instructions they gave us. The house was spotless and beautiful. They gave us a bottle of white wine, a nice touch that we loved. The kitchen is well equipped and you can perfectly make breakfast and meals in the apartment if you want. If I had to find a fault, it would be that there is no lift and you have to climb 3 floors, which can be a bit hard after a day of sightseeing. But we travelled with a backpack and it was very easy. In addition, the location of the apartment (right in front of the Pitti Palace and very close to the Vechio bridge, makes getting to any part of the city a pleasant walk. Communication with Francesca was very fluid and easy. From my point of view, a highly recommended apartment.

Great stay in a less crowded area. Once in the building, it was extremely quiet besides the occasional church bells (which we loved). Our hosts were responsive and friendly, and we had no issues. Be mindful that the shower is “European sized” and the top floor apartment was quite a climb of stairs, but that’s to be expected in Europe. Very walkable with lots of local shops, pharmacies, and markets close by. Overall we had a great time and Would definitely recommend to others!

Fantastic location for visitors hoping to explore the centre whilst having the choice of wandering out of the tourist bubble to quieter areas in the South (some lovely local bars and restaurants to be found there). The apartment being opposite Pitti Palace is quite special. The apartment itself is excellent; really spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view across the city. A nearby church tolls its bells sweetly every half an hour in daylight hours. The host, Francesca, was excellent every step of the way.

It's just opposite the Pitti Palace, you can see the iconic building from the room. The design and decoration of the room are great. If I have the chance to come back, I will stay here again. I feel like I have another home in Florence!

Very good location in a quiet neighborhood. Not too far from the main tourist sights, but far enough from all the mass tourism. The apartment is nice, clean, well insulated, and the AC works like a charm. Francesca was very understanding about our late arrival around midnight. We're definitely coming back to this Airbnb the next time we're in Florence.

This amazing Airbnb really immerses you with the history of Florence!! It was a beautiful space for me and my husband! The air conditioning was a great plus, and the binder was full of a lot of useful information!! It's very conveniently located near major spots in Florence! Walkable, clean and safe in the heart of Florence. You will take a few stairs, but walking out the front door to Pitti Palace makes it all worth it. Host is proactive and helpful. You will need to park a few blocks away, and at 80 euros. I wasn't disappointed

We had an amazing stay in Florence! The apartment in Santo Spirito was even better than the photos – beautiful old building with a really special interior. It's on the top floor, but that wasn’t a problem at all, and the hallway leading up is grand. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of everything, with so many great restaurants, bars, and sights within walking distance. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. We had a very late arrival and the flexible check-in made everything so easy. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay – we’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again when we come back to Florence.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment in Florence. It was a few short minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio and easily accessible to the rest of the town. I loved the old style interior and felt very at home. The bed was also super comfortable! If you are not keen on too many stairs, this apartment may not be the best option for you as there is no lift. However the loft apartment was in a lovely old building and I quite liked the quaintness of it.

We LOVED this AirBNB. First of all, it’s in an amazing location. Right over the river so away from the tourists but dead in the center of all the good bars and restaurants. Directly across from Pitti Palace. But close enough walking distance to Uffizi and everything else you could want in Florence. Second of all, you’d think being in the middle of a downtown that it’d be loud but it’s SO quiet. We could not get over how peaceful this place was. Being on the top floor really has its advantages. And the views really are spectacular. Excellent natural lighting in the whole place that just makes you happy. Third of all, the apartment itself is really nice! 3 stories all to yourself. It’s called an attic but really feels like a penthouse. The place is so cozy and just has an excellent vibe. I will say that the water pressure is pretty low but that’s kind of how it always is in Europe. Oh and there’s AC which is a huge plus. Lastly, Francesca, the host, is very considerate and accom

Great location! Surprisingly quiet inside given how close it is to everything. Just be prepared to climb a bunch of stairs! Our only issue was at check-in - we initially had trouble getting a hold of the host to let us into the apartment so we ended up waiting at the door for around 15 minutes. Aside from that, everything was seamless. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay, the space was beautiful and in a great location. I hope you don’t mind stairs tho, as it is on the top floor with no elevator, as stated in the description. The host was responsive and immediately opened the front door of the building for us, so there were no troubles in any way. Overall it was an amazing stay in beautiful Firenze.

Beautiful apartment. Clean, amazing location, breathtaking views. One of the few airbnbs I feel didn’t misrepresent the views. What you see in the pics is what you get. I loved its location on the south side of the river & so close to the old bridge. Easy walk to the duomo & all the tourist things we wanted to see. Not a negative for us but the only thing to note for possible future guests is that it is on the 4th floor so if you have large bags it could be hard for you to get up all the steps. If you’re able to of course, I couldn’t recommend the stay here enough!

Really enjoyed the location of your place. Had rental car but turned it in early due to close walking proximity of all the sites. The 2 ACs and mini fan were absolutely the best visiting in Aug. Things to reiterate - it’s on the 3rd floor as mentioned so if you have a big suitcase it might be a challenge. The shower adequate for 1 small- avg person, but might feel cramped for a large person. Overall I’d recommend due to the location, spaciousness, AC, comfortable bed and cleanliness of the apartment. The check in was easy due to clear instructions. Host was quick to respond. I also suggest practicing locking /opening the door as we had issues trying to reopen it. I’m sure it was us but glad we figured it out early and not at night after walking all over and being hot and tired.

Beautiful!!! Outside of the Airbnb is a front row view of the Palazzo Pitti and super walkable to ponte vecchio. We had friends staying nearby so we left our luggage there prior to our 2pm check in but Francesca would have let us leave our luggage and take the keys as early as 1130am, which I felt was super accommodating. Apartment itself was a quiet recluse after a long day and night (did not hear a single neighbor). The air conditioning worked very well during the heat wave (which is not always the case in Europe). Everything was clean and the bed was cozy. The hosts left us a bottle of wine as well. I might not have read the description fully, but there is no lift and the apartment is up a few flights of stairs. Thankfully we just had our carry on suitcases and personal items so only needed to make one trip. Was much easier on the way down too ;). Would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us!!

Great location! Overall very good, there were some minor issues (ie. some left over rubbish, construction in the building, and given the wrong keys) but they were very responsive and I had a lovely stay. I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfy bed in a good location.

Large apartment in the heart of downtown, close to the most important attractions and with a beautiful view. However, the accommodation needs some maintenance, I recommend fixing the water pressure in the shower and washing the pillowcases of the two sofas, they have obvious machines. We also found the bathroom and kitchen floor to clean. Those who did the cleaning of the apartment did not notice that one of the towels was dirty, but once notified the host was changed promptly. Finally, the kitchen of the house is unfortunately not heated.

Pros: good location and nice view. Host also responsive with easy check in. Cons: dirty bed with lots of big stains (incl. blood) and hairs. Also bed is not queen as advertised but instead two singles pushed together. I even checked with the host before booking about the bed situation and they did not tell me the truth about it being two singles made to look like a queen. Broken glass left behind from previous guest as well. In general the place looked a lot more tired in person than the photos. We cancelled our reservation on arrival for this reason and found another apartment. Host quickly gave full refund. With these things fixed I’m sure this would be a great place to stay.

Very well located apartment: 4 min walk to the ponte vechio and in front of the palazo pitti. All Florence can be visited within walking distance which is very pleasant. Good communication with Axel and Elisa on our arrival. However, the air conditioning was not working at all properly: it was impossible to lower the temperature of the apartment below 29 degrees (despite the maximum setting and the air conditioning left activated all night and all day). So the nights were very complicated which is the biggest black dot of the apartment. Another pity for the price of the apartment: the dishes were not very clean. Also important to mention: the apartment is located on the top floor without elevator (the apartment is a duplex, so there are also stairs between the kitchen and the living room/bedroom).

The apartment is extremely charming - the loft layout is funky and spacious. The views from the little windows really remind you where you are. The location is extremely convenient to tourist attractions and less touristy spots alike. There was a bit of a heat wave while we there, so we were thankful to have the AC - but just be aware its a large space and on the top floor so it still may be a bit warm.

This apartment was so cute and in a great location with views of the city. Only real downside was that the air conditioners didn’t seem to cool down the place very well so it got quite hot at times and the bed was two twins covered by a queen sheet. Otherwise lovely stay.

This place is absolutely perfect in every way! The host was so nice and sweet. She coordinated with me beforehand so I could check in early and she gave me a very informative guide book that she hand crafted so that I’d have all the “must know” facts about the apartment and restaurants and more! She even welcomed me with a bottle of wine. This place was in the most perfect location to explore Florence. The apartment was spotless and stunning! When I come back to Italy, I will rebook and I would highly recommend to others!

Pros: great central location within 15-20 min walk of the train station and all the sights, apartment itself is quiet, spacious and secure with a nice layout. Host was very responsive and left a nice manual with several recommendations and FAQs. Cons: there are at least 4 large sets of stairs leading up to the apartment on the top floor. The bed itself was the most disappointing aspect - it is called a queen size in the ad however is actually two very uncomfortable twin mattresses pushed together which frequently separated and had to be pushed back together throughout the night

Alex was a great host and very communicative. He did a great job coordinating a meeting for the Airbnb. It was in a great location with tons of restaurants and sights to see nearby. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities. They included a book that had very detailed and informative tips and instructions for guests.

Beautiful apartment. Stunning views over the city and of the Duomo as well. Excellent location right across the road from the palace and gardens. The host provided great recommendations for food, coffees, gelato etc all which we tried and loved. The Ditta coffee place had the best ever coffee. The apartment is on the top floor of the building so there are a lot of stairs and then in the apartment there are stairs up to the living room then a few more up to the bedroom. We had a baby and buggy with two large suitcases and managed it so not a huge issue. Lots of condiments provided in the apartment and toiletries too which was great. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic location if you are looking to explore Florence. All the main landmarks are only approx a 20 minute walk or less from the apartment. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Florence. The hosts were very nice and prompt with their responses to any questions. Thank you we had such a lovely weekend.

Excellent location next to the Ponte Vecchio, with lots of cafes and excellent restaurants nearby. Everything you'd want to see/do/shop is within comfortable walking distance but there is no street noise in the apartment, remarkably quiet. Perfectly clean, exactly as looks in the photos and charming views over the rooftops including of the Duomo! It's on the third floor with no lift so not ideal if you have a lot of heavy bags but it's totally manageable otherwise (we were up and and down a few times a day). Communication was excellent, fast and friendly. We had a small issue with the shower and it was fixed very quickly and at our convenience (on an Easter weekend no less!).

The apartment was nice and clean with a great location. Unfortunately we had some challenges in the beginning, which would have been avoided with having someone welcoming us and checking the apartment. In general the experience was nice as the apartment and the location was just amazing, but as said we would have appreciated to have someone welcoming us, to avoid all the inconveniences we now had. Using internet and calling many times during the week without Italian contract, is not cheap.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful, spacious flat. The location is great, very central without being too busy/noisy, in a nice area. In fact it was remarkably quiet in the flat and we slept really well. We also enjoyed the beautiful views over the rooftops. Thanks to the A/C we had a very comfortable stay in spite of the heat wave. Communication and check-in were friendly and uncomplicated. I was not bothered by the stairs, or the fact that the kitchen is downstairs from the living room - but I suppose it's good to know ahead of time.

Lovely little studio under the roofs of Florence with nice view on the Churches of the city. The apartment is a third floor walk up (in a medieval building meaning it would be a fifth floor walk-up in the US) so be prepared to carry your suitcases up! The location is perfect, in the less turisty part of town with some of the best restaurants nearby. Note that the kitchen is small and on a different floor, in case you're planning to do a lot of home cooking. Scott was very responsive the whole time and our checkin experience was very smooth.

The apartment is situated directly across from Palazzo Pitti, just around the corner from my favorite piazza: della Passera, coffee shop: Ditta Artigianale, boutique: Bjork, and a few blocks from my favorite wine bar: il Santino. Scott's place feels very Italian. The wooden beams, the cosy feel, and the view make the experience lovely. The location is on a busy street, but at night it is quiet and lovely. I loved the location. I feel like the south-side of the river is quieter, but you can still get to everything within 10-15 minutes. Scott was a very responsive host, and Daniele was amazing at check in and responding to our questions about how to turn on the heat.

Nice apartment located nearby the Ponte Vecchio. Great neighborhood with fantastic restaurants/bars/cafes minutes away. Apartment is on a Main Street, but up far enough where you don’t have to deal with the crowds around the Ponte Vecchio (very close, though!). Scott and Daniele were very responsive, kind, and made check-in/out easy. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend so long as people are clear on the following... It’s an old apartment but well-cared for. It is decorated and furnished well, but I wouldn’t call it luxury. It’s nice, and it’s comfortable. View is nice, but don’t mistake it for a rooftop panoramic. You can see the tops of monuments and tourist sites, though! If you visit during colder times of year it will get cold if you don’t turn on heat. Yes, there are lots of stairs. 3-large flights, probably 20-30 feet/10 meters per floor. I’m 29 and fit, and could see this being an issue for people who write this off. The listing is up front about this, so it’s no secret. All and all, very nice people in a beautiful old building.

Fabulous location - just far enough out of the very center of town to be a little bit quiet, but still walkable to everything. A gorgeous, stylish space; heads up that the bedroom is a loft that’s open to the rest of the house (not sure if that was clear in the listing).

The apartment has fantastic views of Florence and is perfectly located in a bustling and elegant section of Florence. This top floor location allowed for quiet at night. This is a stylish apartment with nice amenities. The property managers are quick to respond and very friendly.

Great location if you are looking to be in the very centre of Florence and despite is central location, the room is nice and quiet. We only had 2 full days in Florence so it was really helpful having all the main attractions in walking distance. A binder is also provided with helpful resources and places to eat. We went to 2 of the suggestions and were very pleased! I wish I could remember the names, but one was a stylish and chic breakfast cafe down the street (we went twice we loved so much!) and the other a standard Florence tavern, which was truly amazing. Thank you!! Note - if you are only staying for a few days like us, know that all attractions are free on Sunday. You might love this, but note the lines are about 8X as long. We had no idea about free Sundays and we were so thankful we planned our trip to leave Sunday morning because If we hadn't, we would have waited in ludicrous lines and not done nearly as much. With so little time, we couldn't rationalize free entrance for 3 hour waits. Hope this helps!

We stayed at Scott’s place to celebrate my birthday in Firenze and it was amazing. From check in to check out communication and in person conversations were helpful and happy. The space is cozy and in a FANTASTIC location (it is a walk up so there are stairs to get to the apartment) right across from the Pitti palace and moments to the ponte vecchio. We loved staying in oltrano and would book this spot again in a minute. Thanks Scott & Gal !

The most charming apartment with amazing views. The hike up the stairs is well worth it. It was clean, just as it was pictured and it a great central location. Check in was seamless. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Scott’s place was great! Convenient location right across from Pitti Palace, very nice space with a lot of home features. Scott and Daniele, who checked us in, we’re very quick to respond to any of our questions. I will mention that it is a climb to the apartment (many stairs), so if you’re up for it, I’d definitely recommend!

Overall, we had a decent stay and Scott was very communicative. I will say that the building is very old, as many are in Italy. Also, there were more stairs than we anticipated so be mindful of that when considering this place. *Tip: Il Santo Bevitore is a great restaurant nearby - I recommend making a dinner reservation. They also have a neat & cozy wine bar right next door and the most adorable & delicious bakery about a block away called S. Forno. You can look up all the information on the restaurant’s website.

Stylish apartment in a fantastic location. It's at the top of the building up a few flights of stairs, something to be mindful of if you plan to travel with heavy luggage. The host left us a bottle of red wine to enjoy, which was a kind touch. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Scott's flat.

Beautiful space to stay in. Very comfortable and exactly what the pictures portray. The space was extremely clean and everything was easy to find. The location was great and easy to get around from.

Great place. The washing machine and drying rack were incredibly helpful in the middle of a two week trip. Wonderful place. Air conditioning was a life safer in the hear of august! 72 steps to the apartment, so not for the out of shape.

Highly recommend this place! It feels both modern and authentic at the same time. It has great AC, which is unique for Florence. Also, you cannot beat the location of this place.

Great place to stay in Florence. Close to a good grocery store. The apartment was well equipped and everything was clean. Lovely views over the roof tops. Would not recommend this place to people who battle with stairs. But if that's not an issue, then I can highly recommend this apartment.

Scott was a fantastic host!! Very responsive and offered us local tips and places to go in the area. Space was clean and in an AMAZING location!! 3 Minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

The apartment is located in front of Palazzo Pitti and the view of the city and the rooftops is astonishing. The apartment is very nice and it is perfect for three people. The kitchen is fully equipped. Scott was very nice and provided us with timely and precise information. The bottle of Chianti we found at arrival was certainly a very nice surprise! I would definitely recommend Scott’s apartment!

Stylishly done place in a great location (the front door opens to the square of Pitti palace), yet quiet; very good communication and quick responses from the host. A place to come back to.
