We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment right across from Palazzo Pitti! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from all the main sights, but still quiet and charming. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful rustic feel that really added to the Florentine atmosphere. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the heart of Florence!

Absolutely loved this flat. It was nicer and more spacious than the photos. Great location- plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Within 15-25 min walk of everything in the city. Highly recommend this place. Very safe and convenient. Just make sure you are physically capable of walking up 74 stairs.

Amazing location, walking distance to historic center without the craziness of that area. Great cafe down the street for breakfast. Clean and charming with everything you need. If driving, we recommend you understand how to get to the garage that will take care of the ZTL permit for you. This was not clear to us but the garage they recommended was very helpful and friendly as well. We loved our stay.

Francesca is a great host! Super fast response and easy check in & check out. The apartment was clean and the instruction book is very helpful. The apartment is centrally located & it’s easy to get around Florence from here. A perfect place for those looking to be out & about all day as piazza de Pitti is very busy & loud all day until evening. Great restaurants located all around. The apartment could use some TLC as the pictures weren’t super accurate to how it feels & looks inside (broken/missing fixtures & water damage in bathrooms) but overall a decent place to stay!

Beautiful location. We will miss the view and walking all over Florence. Francesca was a responsive host and went out of her way to help our needs. I do have to say that the room closest to the entry door picks up all the sound of the surrounding neighbors. Put the heavy sleepers in that room because you will be woken up at various times of the night almost every night. This is not the Airbnb’s fault, just something to be mindful of. Otherwise our stay was fantastic and very comfortable for our first international journey with a toddler.

Fantastic spot directly opposite the Palazzo Pitti. The space is really lovely, well equipped, spacious, nicely designed and comfortable. Very quiet, which made for a peaceful nights sleep on comfortable beds. The space is more generous than the photos suggest as the apartment is quite spread out, which was great for sharing couples. It’s on the 3rd floor so be prepared for stairs, but I’m lazy and have bad knees and it wasn’t too much for me!

Amazing Airbnb. The inside is well equippment and very cool. It over looks the plazza which is fun to watch. The location is amazing. You can walk to anything you want to in Florence. There are shops/resturants right at the entrance of the apartpment. Would stay agian.

This was a great place to stay and the location was perfect. Everyone tries to stay at the center but this is 5 minutes away and much more convenient. It’s a great place. Only a few things to note. The apartment needs a wifi repeater because the router doesn’t reach everywhere due to the old thick walls. So one of the rooms had very slow internet. The other thing to note is that while the whole place is very rustic and medieval feeling l, i would say it needs some deeper cleaning and renewal. There were some stains on the floor and very dusty areas. Bathrooms are new and modern which is great. A nearly perfect location is let down by just those two things. We would stay here again.

The location of this apartment is excellent for tourists who want walkability to Florence’s top sites but want a little separation from the thick crowds on the other side of the river. You are directly across the street from Palazzo Pitti and a couple of short blocks from Ponte Vecchio bridge. As other reviews note, the only challenge is a third floor apartment with no elevator and a lot of stairs to climb. Good for active families but would be challenging for anyone who struggles with stairs.

The place was in a wonderful location and had fascinating history and character. It gave my family a feeling of being local. We could picnic and enjoy the Boboli gardens every day, plus all the amazing museums just minutes away. The host left a bottle of wine and was responsive. I appreciated the stairs to the place after the gelato my children requested each evening. We didn’t have any trouble with stairwell lighting. There was some construction in the building but we barely noticed. It didn’t start early or continue late. The amenities were great. We struggled with the washer and dryer in one unit- but clearly a user issue. There was an ironing board, which was helpful. Overall a great place to stay for five days with five children.

We were in Florence to meet our niece and her 3 young children. This place housed us all easily. It is a fantastic location and, being so hot in Florence, provided great air-conditioning. I would call it the "gritty" palace however. Just a basic no frills place. For 4 nights we were provided with just one bath and one hand towel each and only one kitchen towel. There wasn't any laundry detergent, no biggy, I bought it, and no dish soap- this I didn't realize until after our trip to the grocery store. There is VERY little water pressure and not great hot water. There was also a layer of dust everywhere but, there is constrution going on in this very old building so that probably can't be helped. However, as long as you know it is a minimal, very basic place, I must say the location was GREAT.

we loved this apartment. Booked it the day before and Francesca was quite responsive and we received the clear check-in instructions. the place was beautiful, clean. Note that this is an old, historic apartment with the place at the third floor with no elevator. The apartment had a renovated kitchen and bathroom. we found it very clean, spacious and charming.

Great location. Great rooms. Communication is confusing. A few different people on their team respond between what’s app and Airbnb and they ask repeat questions and have conflicting responses. One person said they’d meet us. Another sent detailed instructions for self check in. We were sent to a third person (with the same name as one of the first two) to ask about leaving our luggage after checkout. One person asked us to message them so we messaged one when we arrived and they didn’t reply. Then another. Finally a third who did self check-in. The person who was going to meet us never did. Same happened with checkout. One person said leave our luggage until 12 but be out by 10. The other said be out by 10. It worked out but it would have been much. Better if one person communicated through the Airbnb app.

This apartment really delivered. Our family enjoyed the proximity to Palace de Pitti, great restaurants, and key sights in Florence. The unit was super clean, the AC's worked great, and the bedrooms were plenty large enough. Being on the top floor of the building is great, but be mindful that there is no elevator so you'll have to be comfortable with the staircase. Highly recommend!!

This is an excellent location located right across Pitti Palace. The place is exactly as described, and my family loved staying there. We were able to walk to all the spots and there are a lot of really good restaurants right outside the front door. The air conditioning in all the rooms was awesome since the week we were there it was very hot. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit.

Unfortunately, this unit had not been cleaned after previous guests. The unit was in terrible condition, and while the host took some responsibility in having cleaners come, we felt they were dishonest in their communication. It is in a great location, however given my experiences with this booking I would not seek out this unit in the future.

Overall we enjoyed the apartment. The location is excellent. Someone met us for check in to walk us through everything and helped carry our bags up the stairs. It's a generous amount of space for 5 people. Air conditioning was wonderful, and beds were comfortable. Laundry worked well. Some things to note. Not well stocked on basics (had to buy dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, olive oil, balsamic). Only one of the two showers could be used (drain was plugged and flooded immediately in primary bedroom bathroom). No response to any of our messages or questions after check in.

We had a last minute cancellation (3 days before our trip). I was freaking out. This place was available and was even better than our last would have been. Amazing location, off the busy streets but still close to everything. Great people to work with. Met us as soon as we arrived so we could get in after a long travel day. It has two full bathrooms which was great for 7 people and 3 large beds and one single bed. Comfy living room set. Very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Tons of restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Less touristy than the other side of the river. Lots of sleeping space but it is a walk up so if you have someone in your party with mobility challenges you may want to look for somewhere with an elevator.

Our group of seven really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Florence. It is in a great location, overlooking the Pitti Palace and easily walkable to all the sites of Florence. Many restaurants on the street below. The apartment itself is older but clean and nicely decorated, with updated bathrooms. The kitchen space is small but we ate out for the most part so this wasn't a problem. Overall a great place to stay.

The location of the apartment is amazing. There is a wonderful view over the Palazzo Pitti and everything is within walking distance. There are a few areas of the house that could use some maintenance, especially for the premium price, and one of the bedrooms is small and has only a tiny window into the stairwell. Overall a very nice stay, but presented in the listing as a bit more high end and spacious than what we found.

We had an excellent trip at this beautiful apartment right on Piazza Pitti. The location is perfect. It's overlooks the Piazza and is right above a variety of cafes and restaurants, but it was still quiet. The location is incredible. The kitchen is sparse, but with so much delicious food in Florence, it's best to eat at restaurants anyway. It was a perfect space for my family-- my parents stayed in one room, my husband and I stayed in the second, and our three kids stayed in the third bedroom. I highly recommend this rental!

This place was really great. We had seven people so it was a bit close quarters, but the beds are so nice and big that it wasn't really a problem to share. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The view outside the apartment is great, and it's nicely positioned from the Ponte Vecchio, it only takes about a ten minute walk from the apartment to cross it. The kitchen worked well and was nicely stocked. The only complaint about the apartment is how many stairs there are to get to the apartment. There are multiple flights of large stairs and it can be particularly difficult after a full day of walking. We had a little bit of trouble because it was dark some nights, but eventually found a light switch for the lobby/ main staircase. Great stay!

We really loved everything about this place! For past reviews that mention the apartment not being cooled enough, you can confidently disregard those as the apt has been updated; every bedroom and the living room have air conditioning units that work beautifully. The location is stellar, overlooking the piazza pitti with restaurants right outside the door, but not on the crazy busy part of the street which is further down the road. 5-15 mins walking to get absolutely anywhere you’d want to go. We intentionally chose a place on this side of the river as it is less touristy and we have no regrets! Comfortable, great location, cozy living room that is so enjoyable to have coffee in the morning, you can tell thought was put into the furnishings and design; absolutely no complaints!

This was our favorite AirBnB on our trip. It was very spacious for our family of 5. The place is very clean with big, clean and new bathrooms, a washing machine and a lovely large common area. The furniture is comfortable especially the beds! We really enjoyed the kitchen table and view of Pitti Palace. The location is great because everything is within a 5 to 20 minute walk. It really is all very close. The 4 Lions restaurant is right around the corner with the very bests outdoor seating and food. We also found this location to be a wonderfully easy pick up place for drivers to come get us for day trips. Stay here if you want easy check-in and check out, comfortable beds and bathrooms with washing available and good location to anything in the downtown area.

Gorgeous setting with views on Palazzo Pitti. The appartement has a lot of rustic charm (nb. the bathrooms have been renovated). It is quite big and was perfect for our family (2 adults 2 teenagers). It’s on the last floor without elevator. So, if your less of a sporty kind, prepare to suffer a bit.

The apartment was perfect for us. The location was great, not far from the public garage where we parked our car and very walkable to everything we wanted to visit. The place is perfect! We had originally booked a different place but due to Covid we were unable to stay there. Thankfully we were offered this rental and it was great! The living area was very big and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms worked perfectly for the two families that stayed here. The location was perfect! So easy to walk to Ponte Vecchio. Everything was great! Zak’s apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and in a great, lively area. He was a great host, providing critical advice on parking (keeping us from making huge mistakes), and he moves us into this apartment when there was an issue with the apartment we had originally booked. The piazza outside gets loud in the evenings, but we enjoyed that and didn’t have any issue with noise in the bedrooms (they are not facing the piazza).

Stylish apartment with a large and elegant living room overlooking the historical square. Very well equipped with all the amenities (and books) needed for a short or long stay. Three good size bedrooms (one en-suite), excellent for family and friends-sharing. It is on the top floor of a historical house (no lift) so visitors with the elderly should be aware. For us it was not a problem as the stairway was very wide and comfortable. Scott's place is a stone throw from Ponte Vecchio, plus all the historical sites and shopping areas. On the other hand, it is not in the middle of tourist crowds and very quiet in the night. Scott was extremely responsive, and provided us with useful local tips quickly and accurately. We enjoyed the stay very much and would not hesitate to come back. Thank you Scott!

This is a stylish and well-equipped home in a superb location! The master bedroom with an en suite bath and a balcony gets top marks. The second bedroom is on two levels with one bed on each and a window on the second level and the third bedroom has no access to outside/fresh air. Bedding was good quality and all but the third bedroom's beds very comfortable. All rooms are equipped with a heat/cooling pump and radiators. Bathrooms are modern. The best of all is the kitchen/living/dining area which is amazing for socializing and relaxing and making you feel like you could almost be a native of this wonderful city. The apartment comes with a very useful book of tips, including some good restaurants and the hosts are only a text away should you need them. I look forward to another stay at this truly palatial residence!!

Scott’s is a terrific host and his place is perfectly situated in the Oltrarno, just a short walk from the authentic Santo Spirito and San Frediano artisan shops and trattorias in one direction and a short walk from the bustling Ponte Vecchio shops in the other direction. We felt very safe at Scott’s place and had everything we needed in the apartment for our four night stay with 5 adults. There are a few flights of stairs to reach the apartment but the view of Pitti Palace was worth it. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is great and in a really great location. We were initially concerned that it would be noisy since it’s across from Pitti Palace but it was not at all noisy. Very spacious and a bedroom for everyone. Yogev helped check us in and he was excellent! Extremely helpful and kind. Overall a very good place to stay in beautiful Florence!

Great location on the other side of the river. Spacious place, nice host. A bit far away from the bag storage place, but I really like being in this area away from all the tourist stuff on the other side of Florence. Yet still just a few minutes walk. If you're into coffee, best coffee shop in Florence is just around the corner. Just know that if you have a lot of bags, the unit is like 5 floors up. Overall, a nice stay.

Issue with the cleaners entering and removing all bedsheets when we were out (half-way through 2 night stay). Bit of an invasion of privacy and inconvenience, plus also removed my child's T-shirt I had left on his bed. Contacted host, then bag of linen arrived, dumped in sitting room and departed, leaving front door open. After 15 mins clear no-one returning so made our own beds. T-shirt still missing, no resolution.

If you want a quiet perfect location, here it is! Very clean with an amazing view of the Pitti Palace from a row of windows in the large living room of this 3rd floor walk up. The living room and all living quarters have split duct air conditioning and the living room also has an additional unit for any extremely hot summer days. The master bedroom is very large with an en suite bath. Both bathrooms have great hair dryers. Delicious restaurants are right outside the front door as well as within walking distance. You are steps away from the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and the old bridge. Grab some friends or take the family and enjoy the city which is the cradle of the Renaissance.

A truly magnificent apartment close to all the major sights. It overlooks the Piazza Pietti which made the view spectacular. Spacious bedrooms and air conditioning. Danielle who looked after us on behalf of Scott was warm and welcoming. There are no lifts but Danielle practically carried the bags up those flight of stairs. We can’t wait to return!

Florence is wonderful and the apartment is located in a great spot; right in front of the Piti Palace! New airco was great . Scott and Daniele where both responsive . Thanks

Excellent location! Apartment is spacious but hot during summer months. 2 out of 3 bedrooms have Portable A/C units but 3rd bedroom is very hot. They did have a fan but it died on the first night. Hoped they would being another, but didn’t work out. Great old building with lots of history. Easy walking to all places of interest. Highly recommend but wouldn’t book during hot months.
