It is located on the top floor of a historic 16th-century Florentine palace, right in front of Palazzo Pitti: the location is super exclusive. Piazza Pitti with a stone's throw from Ponte Vecchio, and the Santo Spirito neighborhood, the most lively for local and typical restaurants.
The Maggio street that houses wonderful antique dealers with museum pieces, and Via Tornabuoni, with great fashion brands. All within five minutes on foot. The Palace is quite important and has a wide and rich entrance and stone staircase.

The best way to get there is by taxi or bus from Santa Maria Novella's main station: take the electric bus "knock" C4 at the "STAIRCASE STATION" stop in Piazza della Stazione and get off at the "PITTI" stop.It is located on a limited traffic street, not accessible to private cars. If you take the taxi, they will leave you in front of the gate.

Beautiful location. We will miss the view and walking all over Florence. Francesca was a responsive host and went out of her way to help our needs. I do have to say that the room closest to the entry door picks up all the sound of the surrounding neighbors. Put the heavy sleepers in that room because you will be woken up at various times of the night almost every night. This is not the Airbnb’s fault, just something to be mindful of. Otherwise our stay was fantastic and very comfortable for our first international journey with a toddler.
