This apartment is so great. The location, the floor plan , and the terrace view of the Duomo are some of the highlights. There is one bathroom not photographed that is outdated and not mentioned in the description but not an issue. Everything was comfortable and worth it!

Lovely apartment across from the Piti Palace. Deck with views of the Duomo is a perfect spot for an evening appertivo. Living, dining and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Wifi was very weak and slow - to the point that we needed to use our phone data plans, and water pressure spotty, though I suspect this is pretty common. Would be happy to stay there again.

A beautiful airy apartment in a great location. Oltrarno felt much more authentic than the busy tourist saturated other side of the river. The apartment was elegant and uncluttered. It was easy to access all the sites by foot but if you have accessibility issues the apartment might be tricky as it's on the fourth floor, up many flights of stairs. This wasn't a problem for us though and we loved the roof terrace that was a sun trap for the whole day. There is WiFi in the apartment but it was a little patchy and water pressure in the showers was low. These were small things though. Overall it was a perfect hideaway and our time in Florence couldn't have been better, it was made perfect by the apartment.

The apartment is located in a fantastic central location great waking distance to all Florence's main sights. The host was very responsive to all our requests, we even got an early check-in, which we did not expect. The place is very large and makes you feel very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are great looking. The only negative is a third bathroom which is not refurbished, and this is not shown in the pictures. Apart from this small thing, this is a great place to stay in Florence.

Excellent location and plenty of space for 6 of us to move around in. Easy walk to great food, coffee, shopping and attractions. As is typical for older European buildings, lots of stairs to climb. We stayed in early June of 2024 and noisy and early construction was going on in the apartment below; if your timing is this summer you may want to ask about whether that is finished if relaxation is your goal.

This place was gorgeous and the views from the terrace amazing. I didn't realize this was 3 floors up, not just 3 floors but 3 floors with high ceiling floors which made it like 5 flights of stairs. This was my fault because I didn't read closely at the bottom of the listing description. With 4 children and all of our bags I wouldn't have chosen this stay, but again my mistake.

An unfortunate thing happened that wasn’t completely under their control. Nir, the host, was very professional and proactive about solving the issue. In the end we enjoyed our stay because it was stress-free, we felt taken care of and lastly, we felt like what it may have been to be upper-class Florentines!

We enjoyed our stay here. Right across from Pitti Palace and gardens, and the Ponte Vecchio is super near! We just walked there to enjoy the sunsets. Uffizi is also just a 10-min walk and the C4 or C3 buses are a handy way to get around the city. They even had a nice bottle of red wine as a welcome gift! Will book this again :)

Fantastic apartment situated right by the Pitti Palace and so close to the Ponte Vecchio, as well as San Spirito neighbourhood for all the amazing restaurants. Each of the rooms was well decorated and spacious, and the host was very responsive with queries/check-in. The only downside is that the building does not have a lift so it was a bit of a hike to the top floor with our cases but otherwise a perfect stay!

We were travelling with family (1yr old and 3yr old) and had a brilliant stay here. Excellent location and much nicer being on the other side of the river to the main tourist attractions- a little quieter. Several restaurants literally downstairs that were all great and child friendly (and a good wine bar for adults!). The hosts were incredibly accommodating and let us drop our bags 3hrs before check-in, then let us in early after that. Apartment very clean. The only slightly negative things were the hot water took a while in the morning and the shower pressure wasn’t amazing- reflecting the size and age of the building. Perfectly manageable just need to be aware. There are a lot of steps but a nice wide stair and our 3yr old managed them all. The high chair was brand new and great. The travel cot wasn’t brilliant, so would recommend bringing your own if you are able to. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

Perfect place for our party of 6. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and a rooftop terrace to enjoy aperitivo and take in the beauty of Florence. We walked from the train station which took about 15-20 minutes. Cafes and the Pitti Palace were right outside the front door. Excellent communication. We’d definitely return.

Fantastic appartement! Very spacious, clear, clean, quiet and nicely decorated (everything is exactly like on the pictures, cushions included, unfortunately except for the terrace which table was missing and outdoor chairs half broken), this big flat is definitely a excellent choice to discover and enjoy the life in Florence with your family or friends.

We spent 10 beautiful days in Florence at Scott's apartment. It is centrally located, in arguably one of the best neighborhoods in Florence, the Oltrarno. It's an apartment with lots of charm and is beautifully decorated. I genuinely wish that we could have used the rooftop more as it is such a delight! Having a kitchen that includes a stove, washing machine, and dishwasher was wonderful. It gave us a lot of freedom to cook and not have to rely on going out to restaurants every night. A couple things to know before you book: 1. There are about 3 flights of stairs here, but from the description, I think that was very clear. 2. The apartment is very large: much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It comfortably slept 4 and could easily sleep 6. Each room having its own full bath is a treat. 3. If you're coming here expecting a fully renovated, modern space, this place might not be for you. The apartment has a lot of rustic charm, which we loved, but it has quirks that come from an older building (eg finicky electricity, drafty rooms, vibrating pipes, creaks and groans, etc.) 4. This might not be an issue for everyone, but we weren't thrilled that the rooftop terrace did not lock. It gave us some pause to leave our valuables behind each day. Overall, we had a wonderful time and spent an absolutely amazing Christmas and New Year's in Italy. Thank you to Scott and Daniele for being gracious hosts.

I cannot say enough good things about Scott's place. Scott and Daniele were the best hosts, answered our questions so quickly and even had a Florence informational booklet all prepared. The apartment is just as gorgeous as the pictures look. We were blown away! My husband and I with our two daughters stayed here for nearly a week and were able to really spread out. (We could have had more people in our party and still been perfectly comfortable). The terrace is lovely, especially at night. And the large dinning table was great for game nights and family dinner. Since it was November and the weather was very mild (with highs of around 15°C/60°F) we didn't use the AC and hardly used the heating. But when we did use the heating it worked really well. The bathrooms were really pretty, with unique tiles and immaculately cleaned. And the kitchen was decked out with tons of amenities, like a dishwasher, a (clothing) washing machine, and even an espresso maker. We had everything we needed to travel with kids, and still have a relaxing time. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The location is nice. It was so quiet in the apartment at night even though the street below had tons of restaurants and the Pitti Palace nearby. It's very close to the Ponte Vecchio and an easy (12-13min) walk to the duomo. We can't wait to stay here again.

Unfortunately Scott's place is not as described, as it smelled of garbage and the common areas were filthy. Upon retrieving access to the apartment, I immediately contacted Scott's assistant in Florence to let them know that this was not a place we could stay with our family. I requested that the reservation be cancelled, although this was not honored. We left immediately even though it was almost midnight when we arrived. Given the conditions of the building, there was no way possible that I would have my children sleep in such a filthy and disgusting place. The apartment itself was dingy, not secure and the common areas smelled of garbage and reeked into the apartment. It is located on the top floor, without a lift. The common areas were literally filthy. Apparently this place has been suitable for many, as it has relatively decent reviews, however I will assume this is a reflection of low standards.

Great house, just opposite the pitti palace, the house itself is very quaint, there is a large living room and dining room, there is also a terrace where you can see the pitti palace, except for climbing the fourth floor with luggage, everything else is great!Very close to all attractions

Scott's flat is a preservation of history, very few places in the world would offer such a spacious floor plan, nestled in the heart of Florence only a few hundred meters from Ponte Vecchio. With three good-sized bedrooms, a dining room, living room and rooftop balcony, it is perfect for a family or small group stay. It comes with all the basic amenities, is clean and has air-conditioning, which is a big bonus in summer. All this and it is very quiet at night, which made for a good nights sleep. You are near many great tourist attractions and amazing restaurants. There are quite a few stairs to come-up, something to be aware of if you're not very mobile. Scott and Daniele are awesome hosts, very responsive and there to help with anything you need. This is great value and we highly recommend!

We found the listing and thought they’d be great apartments for a family trip. They were! We checked in using their website (Vikey) which allowed us to comply with Italian law requiring guest information. We were a little skeptical of it at first, but then realized it was common practice in Italy. We got a great tour of the accommodation from Scott’s associate and had a lovely stay. We had no issues with cold air conditioning, working WiFi, beds, sheets, etc. The hosts were quick to respond to any requests or questions we had (which were few). We’d recommend the apartment to future guests.

There were 4 of us traveling together & we had comfortable rooms plenty of space to hang out together & loved the view from the terrace of the Pitti Palace & rooftops. Daniele met us there & helped with our luggage, gave us suggestions & went out of his way to replace a key for us. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent 4 wonderful days in Florence. The apartment matches the photos. Ideal location, all tourist places close by without the slightest noise in the apartment. The terrace allows dinner in the evening outside after the heat of the day. The bedding is excellent. We strongly recommend this spacious apartment.

The BEST location! There cannot be a better apartment in Florence to rent. It is extremely spacious and clean. Individual air conditioners in all of the bedrooms worked fantastically! It was worth the 65 step climb to get the apartment. The views of the Pitti Palace and the Duomo were fabulous. This part of town was quiet at night.

The location is great (a 5 min walk to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge). The place was clean and spacious. The terrace was a great spot at night. AC worked perfectly. There are a lot of stairs - about 80 in total - to get to the apartment. Overall, no complaints and would stay there again.

Pitti 12 was an absolute delight. This was our first time booking on AIRBnB as the previous property we had booked fell over a couple of months before we left on holiday. In hindsight, we are glad it did as Scott’s place was fantastic. The communication was excellent, very prompt and responsive which was good as I was nervous given the sudden cancellation of our previous booking by a different host. The apartment itself was light and bright and had a good range of amenities. We so appreciated the super air conditioning as it was the tail end of a heatwave when we arrived in Firenze. The rooftop terrace was fantastic and I have a picture perfect snap of lighting striking the cupola of the Duomo for posterity. We loved the location, this is the first time we have stayed on the Oltrarno and would definitely do so again. The apartment is literally across from the front entrance of the Pitti Palace. There are a host of great eating paces very close nearby and it is a stones throw to the Ponte Vecchio. The only caution I would have for this apartment is to remember that there is no elevator. I was lucky to be travelling with my husband and son who made great baggage carriers! We are so grateful to Scott and his team and would definitely recommend this apartment.

The rooftop terrace is awesome and other tasteful and artistic touches throughout the apartment give it a unique and memorable vibe. The host was very gracious, met us a block away and helped my wife and kids carry a pile of luggage to the apartment and up the 3 long flights of stairs. Very highly recommended!

Location is fantastic, just right in front of the Piti Palace. You can get everything you need within 15 mins walk. The train station is 20 mins walk from here. The hosts are quite hospitable, really helping you solve everything that you encountered. I definitely would suggest this accommodation!
