Very comfortable, bright, very quiet, spacious and stylishly furnished apartment, literally a stone's throw from the Cathedral, less than an 8-minute walk from the station.
With two large double bedrooms, full kitchen and living room, Conti is the perfect apartment to visit the city on foot, with its exceptional location.

The space

This apartment is literally within walking distance of the Cathedral, less than an 8-minute walk from the station. Perfect location to visit the city. The building is located on a characteristic pedestrian street, with trendy shops, restaurants and bars with outdoor tables, always very lively, but without car traffic. Around the corner is also the church of San Lorenzo, with the library designed by Michelangelo, which can be seen from the windows of the apartment.
The palace is a typical Florentine palace in the historic center, built in medieval times and then remodeled many times until today.

The apartment is all on one level, with a large bathroom with shower, living room with open kitchen, and two double bedrooms.

The decor has been completely renovated with a skilful mix of modern bohemian-style furniture, which blends well with the characteristics of the Florentine house. The kitchen is small but well organized. The rooms are equipped with wardrobes.

Other things to note

The apartment is on the second floor without elevator, 4 ramps, 51 steps. The best way to reach it is on foot from the main station (about 8 minutes), or by taxi.
It is located in a pedestrian street, not accessible to cars, so if you arrive by taxi, you will not be left exactly in front of the door. Contact us in advance and we will help you.

Absolutely brilliant location but lack of security to the building is somewhat concerning (front door to the road doesn't lock). Some basic amenities lacking (e.g. tea, hair conditioner) and additional local adapters needed (for Florence as the power points are different to other parts of Italy). The listing said "self check in" which wasn't the case. The host texted she was going to meet us outside the building. We waited for an hour and a half before we realised there was someone else waiting for us upstairs (but we couldn't access the upstairs as there was a locked metal gate part way up and even if we got through we wouldn't have known which room was ours!). We received an apology ... just stating this as we recommend clearer communication.

This place was amazing quite literally felt at home! 2 min walk away from the Duomo & if you like to go to the clubs definitely not far from nightlife either. The shopping was also steps away from us. Overall perfect if you want to be everywhere. This apartment as well was super spacious which I loved about it! Came with a book in the kitchen full of important information about the room and recommendations of the city. Only con which I’m sure it could be useful no elevators so definitely a lot of steps to go up to. Just keep that in mind. Which i think is pretty normal in Italy but incase that’s a dealbreaker for you. Besides that I loved it & I’d definitely book again when I come back
