Absolutely brilliant location but lack of security to the building is somewhat concerning (front door to the road doesn't lock). Some basic amenities lacking (e.g. tea, hair conditioner) and additional local adapters needed (for Florence as the power points are different to other parts of Italy). The listing said "self check in" which wasn't the case. The host texted she was going to meet us outside the building. We waited for an hour and a half before we realised there was someone else waiting for us upstairs (but we couldn't access the upstairs as there was a locked metal gate part way up and even if we got through we wouldn't have known which room was ours!). We received an apology ... just stating this as we recommend clearer communication.

This place was amazing quite literally felt at home! 2 min walk away from the Duomo & if you like to go to the clubs definitely not far from nightlife either. The shopping was also steps away from us. Overall perfect if you want to be everywhere. This apartment as well was super spacious which I loved about it! Came with a book in the kitchen full of important information about the room and recommendations of the city. Only con which I’m sure it could be useful no elevators so definitely a lot of steps to go up to. Just keep that in mind. Which i think is pretty normal in Italy but incase that’s a dealbreaker for you. Besides that I loved it & I’d definitely book again when I come back

Good location, but with dirty cushions and hair on the floor. If you're only going to use it for sleeping, it's fine and if you're going to stay less than two nights, it's fine, but if you're going to stay longer, I would choose another place.

Great little apartment in a perfect location. Would recommend as a central place to stay in Florence. The reason for the 3 star review was a mix up with the wrong keys being left in the apartment. Resulted in us contacting air BnB support as the host was unresponsive when we were locked out. Have picked up with host and support team. An unfortunate event which would unlikely happen again but could have had a significant impact on our stay.

The Airbnb is in a great location, about 2 minutes walk from the duomo but also extremely quiet. You wake up to hear the birds outside the window! The apartment in spacious with everything you need. It is on the top floor so maybe not great for small children or people with access issuers as there are a lot of stairs. Wifi etc was also excellent in the apartment … the one disappointment, we did find some bed bugs after being bitten!

Absolutely perfect locations - steps from the Duomo and all of the fabulous restaurants in the area. The street outside is bustling and vibrant which adds a great ambiance to your stay. Nice and quiet despite the busy area. Very close amenities (pharmacy and supermarket) which makes it even easier to stay at the property. Bed was only okay, but that’s the only fault I could find with the place.

We had a great stay at this apartment, perfect central location right by the Duomo , restaurants and all the action! Walking distance to all of the sights and galleries. A few comments for what they are worth-It is an extremely busy location; most of the local restaurants are quite pricey, and charge a cover; we found a great spot called Mattacena which served more traditional food, a bit off the beaten track. Recommend that you walk up to the gardens and Piazza Michelangelo to see the view over Florence, and get away from a few of the crowds while you walk up. We felt quite safe, but one concern was that the front door of the building, which opens right into the central street, was constantly left open by other visitors and cleaners. We kept closing it so that people did not randomly walk in. That might be a security issue for the apartment to address. Overall highly recommend this stay if you want to be right in the heart of it all in beautiful Florence !

A nice clean apartment right in the heart of Florence. A 2 minute walk to the Duomo which was fantastic. Lots of great restaurants right on the doorstep. Room wasn’t ready at check in time but was accommodated with a late check out in response. Bathroom door and lock a bit fiddly and could some maintenance but otherwise a great apartment.

This apartment was an amazing find! The host was very accommodating and helped us with every question that arose. The rooms were each a nice size and came with a very comfortable bed. The views outside one window were beautiful as you can see a church in the distance. Overall our stay here was great! The only thing that was a little concerning was on the first night we had awoken to the cleaning men that had come into our apartment but meaning to go to the one next door. Other then that very nice find!

Lovely little apartment right in the middle of it all. We loved how close it was to places we wanted to visit. Right outside your door are literally hundreds of food and shopping options. We enjoyed opening the windows in the morning to the beautiful sound of the church bells, which will always remind us of Italy. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and we were happy with it.

Lived in this airbnb for 4 months while studying abroad. It was perfect and has the most amazing location only steps away from the duomo, grocery store, and delicious restaurants (Il Nutino). Comfortable beds with AC/Heat. The only downside was that we heard the duomo bells every night but we got used to it. Host was very responsive and helpful!

This home is in a fantastic location located very centrally. There are lots of places for shopping and eating just out the door and nearby as well. For those bringing a car, there is paid parking nearby that handles the ZTL for you and was very convenient. The space was very clean and cute. Would definitely consider staying here again if our travels bring us back to Firenze!

A great place right in the middle of town. They replied promptly with any requests or issues, and the apartment itself is cozy and quiet in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Florence. The bedrooms are big and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again!

The apartment is beautiful and exactly as pictured. It's in a perfect location just around the corner from the duomo. It's on the 3rd floor and set at the back of the building so even with the windows open you couldn't hear any noice from the street below. The hosts were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Couldn’t have a better location! Right in the heart of the city and steps away from the Duomo! We couldn’t check in early so we grabbed food in front of the building (pro tip, also a good restaurant to kill time before check in!) and it timed out perfectly to get our keys. We were so pleased with the rental and would highly recommend staying here. Beds are huge and they have laundry, all a big plus! Thank you!

If you like the addresses in the center it is the big strong point of this apartment close to the Duomo and very close to all the points of interest in Florence. A quick tip, if you came by car, return it to the renter because the parking nearby is very expensive and frankly you will do everything on foot . Functional apartment but it stops there. I was personally disturbed by the noise of the tenants of the apartment opposite who spent their evenings smoking cigarettes on the balcony 2 meters from the windows as well as the church bells next door, (nice but waking up at 6 o'clock quiet). Scott is extremely responsive, it's nice. In short, the location mainly.

I had a great stay at Scott’s apartment! I could not imagine a more centrally-located apartment – just a block or so from the Duomo. The entrance to the building is between two restaurants on one of the pedestrian-only streets. You then weave your way up the stairs to the apartment, which is in the back of the building and incredibly quiet with a beautiful view of another church. The apartment has clearly been renovated. It was very spacious, and would be ideal for a group of four people. I spent many hours working there and relaxing at the end of my long days in Firenze. I would highly recommend and would definitely return in the future!

Fantastic location in the heart of Florence, all major attractions are within minutes of walk. Food and beverages are available at your door step - and most places open til late hours. A high level of hospitality was provided by the host right from the beginning. Communications are almost instant and hassle-free. The check-in/our process were effortless. The apartment itself is very secured with gated hallways, cleanliness has been kept to a very high standard which made our stay very comfortable. Amenities are also sufficient and thoughtful. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to the host for their assistance and flexibility to our travel/baggage delay. For those who look for a hassle-free stay, helpful host and outstanding hospitality, you have found the right place.

This apartment is perfectly located for a tourist trip to Florence: just a block away from the major Duomo, a few blocks from major brand name shopping, and about a 15 minute walk to the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Also very close by the tram to the Airport, and buses to Sienna and other towns in Tuscany. If you eat in the Oltrarno neighborhood, you have a pleasant 15-20 minute walk back to this place. It is a courtyard facing (read quiet bedrooms) two bedroom apartment with high ceilings and lots of natural light. There are split unit a/c’s in each bedroom and in the main lounge, all with silent options. It is also well equipped for cooking a meal, and we were gifted with a bottle of local red by our hosts, who were very accommodating with our slightly early check in. If you are traveling with an older person, just note that you have to climb four flights of stairs, which the host had warned us of in advance.
