The location is very good, close to everywhere. The design of the house is beautiful. The sofa was very uncomfortable. The house could have been cleaner. There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind, it can be tiring. There were a few spiders. Because the apartment is old, there are sounds coming from the floor. Check-out time is 10:00, and they knocked on my door at 10:00.

Very close to the Duomo and in the heart of everything. Very cool view of Basilica Di San Lorenzo I believe from the living room window. Very nice touch with a bottle of Chianti waiting for us upon arrival. If you’re older, just know the bed is upstairs and the restroom is downstairs. You will have to contend with a large wood beam at night at the top of the stairs if you’re taller than 5’3”. Wasn’t a problem as I have a light on my watch so just had to remember it was there. Would stay here again.

Pleasantly and fully satisfied with my stay. Bright, well-furnished and welcoming apartment... it really felt like home! Tidy and clean home! The window overlooking the Duomo is something extraordinary and magical. It is located in one of the streets adjacent to Piazza del Duomo, really a 1-2 min walk away. Very central area, with all the comforts and comforts. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

very responsive host. the apartment need fresh paint and bathroom needs a deep cleaning! the pictures are much nicer and clean. the apartment is in middle of action and easy walk to all the pin points but you have to climb all the way up to the last floor (too many stairs) wont be good for those who travel heavily.

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this airbnb to other guest visiting Florence! The location is perfect very central and you’re able to reach all top sights on foot. The place itself could use a little refresh on paint, replacing missing pictures, etc. but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Thanks again!

I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment and my experience was absolutely positive in every way. The apartment was impeccable in terms of cleanliness, each corner shone with order and hygiene, creating a cozy and comfortable environment. The interior of the apartment is a real jewel. Stylish, thoughtful decor creates a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Finally, the bed was extremely comfortable! The location is another highlight of this home. Located in a strategic area, I was able to easily reach all the main attractions of the city. Communication with the property was virtual, but the point of contact, Francesca, was always available and very clear in explaining how to self check-in. Definitely my first choice for future trips to this lovely city!

This loft apartment was a beautiful, convenient home base for our time in Florence. It’s as charming as the pictures show, with great views of the duomo. If you are visiting in the summer, watch out for mosquitos! There were dozens in the apartment when we arrived. Highly recommend having citronella bug spray handy, and keeping the window closed. There are also quite a few stairs to get up to the loft, so be prepared to climb many flights with your luggage and throughout the day. Once we handled the mosquito issue, this was a wonderful place to stay. Homey, decorated, and well equipped (washing machine, blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, fully stocked kitchen, etc.)

This Airbnb is located in the heart of Florence a half block from the Duomo plaza, yes it’s that close to the Duomo. The location was perfect, lots to do around with different restaurant options some being right as you exit the Airbnb building. The walk to the Duomo was approx 1-2 min, to the central market was approx 5-7 min, to the Vecchio bridge approx 10 min, train station was approx 10-12 min. The location of the Airbnb makes things very walkable and accessible to the best restaurants, breakfast spots, and, of course, gelato spots. We just had a little trouble accessing the Main Street door with the code. It could be that it’s just older but they give you a key to open the door if the key pad is giving you trouble. Also be prepared to walk up approx 6 flights of stairs, the Airbnb is on the top floor and there is no elevator. The room itself is very quiet despite it being located right next to a heavily trafficked area, so noise and getting rest was never an issue.

We loved our stay! It’s in a busy neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and the duomo just up the street. Despite being in a busy area, the apartment itself was very quiet and the bed was comfortable! The central location was convenient as the main train station and most sights are within walking distance. Also, having a washing machine was a big draw for us so that we could do laundry mid-trip. The only thing I’d stress is to make sure you note that there are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment - we packed in backpacks so this was no issue but something to pay attention to as I imagine it would be difficult with roller bags.

We visited Florence just for the weekend, and this apartment was amazing - beautiful location with amazing views and very centrally located. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Francesca was very responsive and was waiting for us when we arrived, despite some difficulties with our flights. We loved this apartment, and would definitely stay again. It is worth knowing there are ~5 flights of stairs to get to the apartment without an elevator.

The loft was beautiful and the air conditioning was much appreciated with the Florence heat. The walk up to the stay is four stories and not bad at all - well worth it for the little Duomo view. Our stay in Florence was wonderful. The apartment is stunning and has beautiful views. The location is great - right in the heart of Florence. The apartment windows can be completely closed/covered which guaranteed wonderful dark rooms for sleeping! We loved how easy it was to navigate the city from this apartment. The kitchen was easy to use, and the view from the “secret room” was beautiful. We were even able to do laundry halfway through our trip, which was a huge bonus. Honestly, this would make an amazing long-term rental. Something to note, the street below is incredibly busy and full of tourists/people, and the entrance to the building is essentially in a restaurant’s patio. If you are looking for relief from the hustle and bustle, this may not be the spot for you. We noted that some amenities were missing: no paper towels, limited rolls of toilet paper, and no oil for cooking. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this apartment for any future visitors.

King size bed, updated washing machine for a mid-trip load of laundry with a separate room to drying. Welcomed by a bottle of wine and Greta local recommendations for things to do. Be prepared to buy toilet paper and paper towels as we did not have nearly enough for our 10 day stay. Close to Duomo, restaurants and shops.

This place is incredibly cute and well located. Be warned, this up many many flights of stairs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The only issue we had was that the building is extremely loud. Doors slamming all night, loud walking above us which we couldn’t figure out as we thought we were the top floor. If you’re a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, good for a quick night in the city!

It is a cozy loft style flat near the Duomo with the essentials and a cozy side room for beautiful views. Very walkable area with easy access to the main train station. We enjoyed our stay and found the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. With the apartment on the inside of the building, we heard no street noise, and the location gave us good access to the major attractions. We managed the 72 stairs several times a day and called it good exercise. (I was happy though when the downstairs neighbor offered to take my suitcase up the stairs for me.)

All I can say is WOW! What a cute little apartment in a perfect location. This stay had everything we needed: washing machine, kitchenette, drying rack, and more! There IS air conditioning but be prepared for it to not be incredibly powerful. Once we started keeping the shades closed while we were out we had no problems, though it still may be too hot for anyone used to stronger air conditioning (though we were there in a massive heatwave so that definitely contributed!). I don’t think it was entirely obvious from the pictures but there is an ADORABLE secret nook in the loft that overlooks Il Duomo, so there are TWO different and gorgeous views. As other reviews have said, be prepared for the stairs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This apartment was the perfect location and in walking distance to anything you want to see in Florence. It was very clean and looks just like the pictures. The 5 flights on stairs are definitely a lot when you first check in with your luggage so just be prepared for that. Even though it was on a busy street, you could not hear any noise while in the apartment. Check-in was easy and Alex and Francesca were great with communication. The only negative was that we could hear the neighbors very clearly next door while trying to go to sleep one night. Overall, great experience and would stay again!

Check in was warm and friendly. The flat mixes modern design and old world charm., and the iconic Duomo is visible from the window! The flat includes thoughtful details like a washing machine and pod, clothes iron and board, drying rack and plenty of hangers. We took advantage of the Santa Maria del Fiore’s proximity and walked around early in the morning before the crowds (which can become chaotic later in the day). Everything you’d want to see in Florence is within walking distance of the flat. There is no elevator, so be prepared to bring your bags up a few flights of stairs - but the views and thoughtful space are well worth the haul.

Had a fantastic stay here! Here's why: 1. Perfect location - it is in the heart of Florence and within walking distance of all the major sites. There are two supermarkets within 3 min walking distance, plus many good restaurants downstairs. Its in a very well lit, and safe area. It is NOT noisy. Although on the ground floor you can hear the restaurants, once you reach the top floor - you can barely hear anything. The church bells are louder :) 2. The stay has a great kitchen suffice for cooking meals, and good hot water/pressure and functioning bathroom. Towels/linens were provided. The place was spotless when I walked in, and had functioning and powerful AC, and there was no mould smells. There is a binder that explains everything, and you get two sets of keys. 3. Communication was amazing via WhatsApp. I arrived a bit early and although I wasn't able to get an early check-in, Franscesca was able to let me drop my luggage off. That being said, there are several left-luggage facilities near by. Overall, this place was fantastic to stay at, and a welcomed place to R&R after exploring Florence. Highly recommended! (Note that this place is on the highest floor which if you have lots of heavy luggage, you might need some time to carry them up. However, I did not find this to be a big problem at all, and probably for the best to minimize guilt from eating all the gelato/pasta. ) Thanks!!

Alex’s apartment is truly lovely. It is decorated in a modern yet rustic style, perfect in drawing the atmosphere from Florence into the interior. It is well equipped with everything a guest would need. The location cannot get any better as the apartment is directly next to the beautiful Duomo. The air conditioning makes a slight rattling noise if set to a certain temperature and takes a while to cool down, so keep this in mind if you’re a light or temperature-sensitive sleeper. Also, as other reviews point out, there are several flights of stairs. This was not an issue for me as I’d packed light, but keep this in mind if you’re stowing heavy luggage or aren’t able to climb several flights of stairs.

I only can recommend this place for everyone. It is literally in the city centre, in a beautiful street with a lot of shops, restaurants and nice bars. Also if you want to have an italian coffee and croissant for breakfast you just have to walk 5 miutes to get in one of these amazing coffee places. The apartement was clean, cosy with a beautiful view to the Duomo. Great choice!

If you're looking for a place to stay near the Duomo, this is definitely the choice for you! In 30 seconds on foot you are in front of the Baptistery of S.Giovanni!! The house is super clean and cozy, we had two wonderful days. Having a 7-month-old child, an apartment with a kitchen was definitely the best choice than the hotel. Even as there is no elevator and since the apartment is on the third floor, after only two flights of stairs there is a gate that makes the area of the apartments private so we were able to leave the stroller there without making an additional two floors. The hospitality and support was great!

Great apartment if you want to have a space that feels like home! Of course, the location and views are fabulous, and you have a ton of restaurants around. Zak and Daniele made the check in and check out process very seamless, and were accommodating with our requests too. This space is a great find, and I will book this again for my next visit to Florence! Small downside though is that there were a couple of mosquitos present in the apartment that were quite annoying at night. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing and can be taken care of easily for the next guests!

This apartment is beautiful and very well situated in the Historic Center of Florence. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. The communication from Daniela was excellent. One thing to keep in mind is the apartment in on a pedestrian only street you will have to be drop at the top of the street and have to drag your bags down a cobblestone street. The apartment is on the 4 floor with no elevator neither of these things are a big deal but just something to keep in mind if you pack heavy. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in Scott’s apartment. We especially loved the fantastic location (almost right next to Duomo) and the air con (there were 38 degrees in Florence during our visit). The place was nicely decorated and communication went well.

If I could give this place 10 stars for location I would!!!! What a lovely little apartment in an absolutely unbelievable location. Walk a few metres to the end of the street and you are in front of the Duomo! Everything you want to see in Florence is walking distance - perfect. The apartment was a great little find, it’s small but has everything you need for a weekend away. Remember there are six flights of stairs to walk up since you are on the top floor of this building but the views alone make up for that! The bed was really big and really comfortable… Exactly what we needed after a full day of sightseeing! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Great location and great host. The check in process was super easy and Scott went over and above to ensure we had a great time. Great suggestions on location spots and even left us a lovely bottle of wine. We would definitely go back and stay at Scott’s place. If you’re looking at this place, look no further...you found it.

AMAZING LOCATION! The best airBNB place I’ve been to. The host was super nice, helped us with our luggage and showed us the place. They answers us super quickly. The place is stylish, clean and has a beautiful view! Perfect!

Thank you so much for the stay, the place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The communication was fantastic we ran into a problem at the airport delaying our check in time which was originally 11:30 and pushed it all the way to 2am and the host stayed up and waited for us to let us in. Thank you so much once again. This will be the first place I look for when I come back to Florence.

Scott's place was just perfect - Incredibly central yet very cozy and quiet at night. The apartment is very stylish, fresh and comfortable, and the host has been flexible to accommodate my request about check-in time. This is a great place for exploring Florence while feeling at home!

Me and my friends are very satisfied about the apartment, it is so beautiful and very comfortable! Most of the things we need for cooking in the kitchen is well prepared. And the owner very polite and enthusiastic:D. Definitely will book again if we visit Florence!

Very cozy and comfortable apartment. Exceptional location. In the heart of downtown (behind Santa Maria del Fiore) but quiet thanks to the view of a secondary courtyard. Many stairs to get to the apartment but for the center of Florence it is more than normal. Communication with the owner fast, friendly and in working order. Great hospitality.

You’ve found your Airbnb for Florence! No need to look any further. The place was very CLEAN, stylish and had great personal touches - including an amazing bottle of local Chianti wine! Perfect location to walk everywhere. Very spacious. Right next to a grocery store which made cooking a few meals easy. The host was very easy to reach and accommodating with anything we needed. We would love to come back to Florence and stay here again. It was our favorite Airbnb for our Italy honeymoon. We miss it already!

We really enjoyed our stay in Florence in the apartment, which is centrally located near the Duomo and great restaurants. Yogev the guy who met us was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying in the apartment. There were quite a few stairs to reach the apartment, but the view out the window was definitely worth it.

That was a great place to stay in Florence. Very centrally located, short walk to the Duomo. The place itself was stylish and had everything we needed. Nice window views of the Duomo as well. We would definitely stay again!

Scott and Daniele helped make our stay in Firenze awesome! We loved the apartment - the beautiful views of San Lorenzo and the Duomo, the cleanliness, and the location - and the quick responses from our hosts. Two super highlights for us: We especially loved the comfortable bed after long days of exploring and the welcoming bottle of wine (one of best ones we had during our trip)! We are already looking forward to coming back to the same spot when we return to Florence.

This is a great location & 2 minute walk to the Dome cathedral. Newly refurbished with comfortable bed. The only drawback was the six flights of stairs. No lift. But worth the view when u arrive. The apartment door is heavy & hard to open, make sure you try it b4 your host leaves. Great apartment

Stunning views, perfect location - steps away from the Duomo. The unit was clean, quiet (so quiet), and the bed was very comfortable. Scott was extremely responsive & courteous. Hope to be back soon!

Can’t ask for a more central location. 15 minute walk from the train station and picture perfect views from the apartment towards the Duomo. Apartment was very comfortable for our party of three young adults.
