This was a great “home base” for our stay during our kid’s volleyball tournament at the convention center. The condo was comfortable and conveniently located. We will stay again if we are back in Florida!

All I can say is be careful what you pay for for $1700 it should’ve been very exclusive. It was a beautiful resort, but I spent six hours a day complaining to Airbnb kept messaging the host and I felt like I was getting automated messages that they would get through to their team because they’re property managers and have a lot of other properties. We had no dryer for six days then I found out that the dryer issue was they knew about the dryer for at least a monththe deadbolt did not lock they did send somebody right away to fix that but I told them for days you could just push the door open if no one’s home anybody could break in you could just push the door open and it would unlock so today someone was supposed to fix that so basically, I only felt safe when I was inside and could close the deadbolt after the first three days and they fixed it but as far as if you’re not home, anybody could’ve walked in there and hopefully they fix that today, but to pay that kind of price not good

Great place, basic condo with all that you need for a long weekend in Orlando. Location is perfect for easy access to highways, restaurants, and attractions. Communication couldn’t be more straight forward and the entire process is seamless.

This place was awesome for my family. Everything was near by including a Publix that’s walking distance. Everything was clean and Dennis responded to every question I asked. I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

I highly recommend. Great location. Within walking distance is a grocery store and shopping plaza.In the plaza, you can find a massage place and breakfast restaurant. Also, the pool was right across from the pool.

The home is more than what you see in the pictures. Dennis did great in staying on top of all communication. Briefs and reminds you of what you might need to get your trip worth. We are a happy camp. We will definitely stay in this home again. Happy Customer

The location was amazing. Just a few minutes from downtown and all of the main attractions! The area was quiet and full of activities. Definitely will stay there again.

Loved the location, really close to “everything” in Orlando. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Very pleased overall. The condo is nonsmoking however, there was an overall stale cigarette / ashtray smell to the place. Fortunately we didn’t stay in the place other than to sleep. I would recommend this place if you can overlook this one thing.

This is the second time I've stayed in a Vista Cay property. My first set of comments below will pertain to the resort generally, based upon my two stays. My second set of comments will refer to Dennis's unit specifically. Generally: Vista Cay is a great location with easy access to much of what Orlando has to offer, and particularly easy access to Sea World, Aquatica, and Universal. Parking is easy. There is a shopping complex within very easy walking distance - a large Publix and a few restaurants. The apartments we stayed in were quiet - the only noise we heard was the air conditioning unit. What I don't like about these apartments is their design. The main rooms are too small. This is particulary true of the master bedroom - it can barely fit a queen size bed - and of the living room. In contrast, the bathrooms are unnecessarily large - huge even - with large amounts of purely wasted space. There are two pools - one large and the other small. The smaller pool is the closer one to this unit - just across the parking lot. The larger one is a 5 or so minute walk away. Both pools are odd shaped making swimming laps awkward. My main complaint about the pools is that they open relatively late in the morning - about 8:30 am. This means that an early morning swim is not an option. This is made even more unfortunate by the fact that the pools, once open, are often crowded. Given all the signs warning there is no lifeguard, I don't understand the reasons for the late opening time. Specific to Dennis's unit: This is a first-floor unit. We didn't know that when we booked, but came to appreciate not having to deal with stairs or an elevator to come & go, especially with suitcases and groceries. I really felt the poor design of this property when I struggled to find a clear space large enough for me to completely open my suitcase. I ended up having to open it in the needlessly oversized bathroom. Every other space was otherwise occupied with furniture of some kind. Speaking of the bathroom, as oversized as it is, I found using it to be stressful. This was mainly because of a total lack of storage space other than the countertop. Not a single shelf or drawer, nor any ledge of any kind in the walk-in (roll-in, handicap) shower. And just one towel rack for a bathroom meant to be used by two people. There is barely enough space hang two bath towels - so forget about haning up a third bath towel let alone any hand towels. Adding to the stress of using the bathroom was the failure to provide bathroom rugs, leaving us with no choice but to use towels on the wet bathroom floors. (Given it was a handicap shower, it's normal the floor got quite wet after use). The failure to finish the property was also reflected in the kitchen - the space under the kitchen sink is entirely open - the cabinets that would typically be installed there are strangely absent. I'm puzzled by the seemingly deliberate failure to attend to these details that are important when sharing space like this with several people. After I made the booking, I received multiple messages suggesting that I spend more money on various things, like an early check-in ($75 or $50) or late check-out ($50 or $75), and, especially strangely, to purchase heating for the pool. Given this property does not have its own pool, I understood that that advertisement wasn't directed to me. But I found the theory of it to be striking: is it really acceptable to rent out a place that has a pool and then, after doing so, hit the renter up for more money ($25/day!) to have the pool heated? Overall, I would stay at Vista Cay again and I would stay in this unit again. Both have advantages. But the poor architectual design, the lack of attention to details and the limited pool hours would reduce my overall satisfaction.

Dennis’s place was clean, comfortable and an overall great experience. Right across from the pool, and within walking distance to everything you’ll need for your stay (supermarket, restaurants, etc). We would not hesitate to consider his place as an option in the future.

We loved Vista Cay! Heated pool & hot tub right across from this complex. The paved loop around lake was a nice addition! There was pool towels and extra trash bags, tp, soap, shampoos... etc. Good amenities like coffee, cooking spray and salt/pepper. Very comfortable place to stay. And of course close to many many things.

My husband and 2 kids stayed here for 5 days and I have this to say.....PERFECT! Location PERFECT! THE SPACE IS PERFECT! Dennis was very responsive and helpful! The grounds are incredible 3 pools including a children’s pool! 2 hot tubs! Basketball court, playground, arcade! Just amazing. For families this is the place for you!

Wonderful stay and a wonderful Casiola management team. This is our second stay at Vista Cay, and the management team really made a difference. The home was well appointed with supplies, including soaps and shampoos and even beach towels for the pool. Our only disappointment was that the wonderful looking leather couch and chair in the pictures has been replaced with a marginally comfortable upholstered set (was really looking forward to sinking into that leather couch). First floor access was convenient, and the area was very quiet (except the occasional pounding feet of the upstairs guests). Condo has a patio, but no view except for other units. This obviously was a handicap accessible condo, so the grab rails and roll-in shower were a nice addition. Lots of closet and storage space throughout, including the kitchen. This unit is located on the side with the Publix grocery and a few nice restaurants, so we could walk or stop on our way in or out of the complex. We enjoyed walking around the large lake and the colors of the sunset reflected off the water. Overall Vista Cay is a great location - about 10 minutes with little traffic to Universal, right next to the convention center, and close to shopping (including Walmart). And it’s less than a mile away from the new Universal Epic Universe under construction (you drive right past the site), so this will be an even more amazing location in the future.

This is probably as close to a timeshare as you get without a contract. The place is great. Location is excellent. Quick walk to Dunkin Doughnuts or groceries. Pools are nice but alcohol and food is very expensive in the pool area ($10 bottle beer, $4 hotdogs) and you cant bring any coolers for food or drink in. The only improvement I would have wanted is the coffee situation. There's a drip coffee maker but no filters or single use options. Not sure if it was missed or just not part of the plan. Wasnt really an issue I thought was worth bugging the host management about, but something I would plan for next time.
