Check in process was very easy and Damien is extremely responsive. He also graciously extended our check out time to meet our needs. The location of the apartment is great, very central and steps away from Passeig the Gracia, close to the metro and to all main attractions, shops and restaurants in the Eixample neighborhood, and yet the apartment is very quiet . It has everything as described , including a very nice terrace for an outdoor apero or a siesta on the hammock. The master bedroom is large, with an en suite bathroom ( and renovated shower and shower box) and the bed is very confortabile. On the down side, the apartment needs some renovation and refresh as the furniture and appliances are a bit old

It is a very well located apartment and quite close to the attractions. As for the stay, I would like to point out that it is very comfortable because it has 2 bathrooms. I would need more cleaning of windows, curtains and dining room chairs. These are easy things to solve that I would recommend to the host and would make the apartment look better since it is a very good and comfortable place. Even so, we had a great time there and we appreciate the attention of your host and his team.

I think it’s safe to say this isn’t one of Damien’s luxury apartments - it’s a little more tired looking than the photos suggest. And bring ear plugs if you sleep lightly - there’s not much sound proofing from the apartments next door and upstairs. On the plus side, it was clean, has a lift (great for those with mobility issues/heavy suitcases) and is in an absolutely fantastic location. There’s a decent supermarket right across the street, and loads of excellent bakeries & restaurants within a few minutes walk. We had the best meal of our trip just around the corner, at Casa Amalia, which is on a side street right by the flower market. Damien was also great - flexible (allowed an early check in) and extremely responsive (immediately got us a new kettle after the old one kept tripping the electricity). I would definitely stay again.

It was generally a comfortable stay. The 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms are very free and comfortable, the location is good, there are many supermarkets around (one in front of you), and the subway and bus stops are close. I contacted you 30 minutes before arrival as instructed, and you waited in front of the apartment.Most of my questions were answered as soon as I asked during my stay. There are all the cooking utensils, and there are seasonings such as salt and pepper. There was almost no problem, but it would be helpful to have a variety of theories as simple as possible.(IH stove, washing machine, TV, air conditioning) Also, I think it is a little difficult to open and close the key, especially in Japan.When the host welcomes you, I encourage you to do it and confirm that you can open and close it properly.

Book the apartment because it was self check-in. It wasn't. The first day I stay locked in the room with the handle in my hand. In the main room all the time there is a noise as if a faucet were open and constantly dripping very loud. The terrace is nice but it is not worth the price. The girl who received me very friendly.

Damien’s apartment is in a great location – far enough away from the heart of the tourist bubble, close enough to be able to walk almost anywhere (or take the subway if you prefer). Be aware that the apartment is not fully air conditioned (there is one mobile unit in the living room), so if you come from a part of the world where full a/c is a given, be prepared. We stayed for five days in July and did not consider it a problem.

Location wise it is superb. 5 mins walk to the Garcias Avenue where all the high end and street fashion shops are located, and Casa Mira and Casa Batllo. Karolina is super friendly and the space is spacious even for a family of 4.

Excellent stay! I have been to Barcelona before and endured the hotels. I wanted something more private and comfortable. This place was great. Everything is clean, which is what I appreciated most. It is in a safe location, with multiple bars and restaurants nearby. Many of the tourist attractions are also walkable 15-20 minutes. I even walked to the beach in about 30 minutes! I saved so much money walking rather than using taxi and ride shares, which is good if you don’t mind walking. That being said, there is also public transportation very close by. There is a TV that has Netflix so I was able to just relax after being out after a long day. Lastly, there was a machine where I can wash a load of clothes after traveling so much. Very helpful!! I 100% would recommend.

Nice location and the master bedroom is great, 2 bathrooms. But the second bedroom is dark (window on covered courtyard) and small. Terrace but covered by the terrace above, not very bright and pleasant. Small things to be fixed (operation of the hobs, broken roller shutter, lack of kettle, old coffee machine, bed sheets not great) but Damien is very responsive and attentive In my opinion, I expected better for the price.

We had a wonderful time staying at Damien’s apartments – they are beautifully designed and situated in a lovely neighborhood. Damien also provided a list of local restaurants and services that we were delighted to take advantage of. Having so many bakeries and coffee shops, plus the market, right outside was also very nice. Our initial rental proved to have issues with the hot water. The hosts were very responsive, sending a technician the same day we notified them. When the fix did not work, Damien’s partner Carolina offered another apartment very nearby, which was more spacious, in excellent working order and very much worth the move. These folks can be counted upon to take care of their clients, providing very comfortable spaces for an extended stay. I highly recommend working with them.

Damian's house is in a fairly good location to travel, you can walk to famous destinations such as the cathedral and Casabatio Casamilla Famous Street by foot. Also, I was able to rest assured that the accommodation was a safe neighborhood. There is a supermarket right in front, so it's great for simple necessities. If I go to Barcelona, I'll visit again.

Damien and team are amazing, promptly responded to any queries and checkin process was very simple. Perfect location on quite street, there are some restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity and super market just across the street. There is no aircon but for us, in October, provided pedestal fans were perfect. Some of the shortcomings - sofa and dining chairs were very dirty. Shower head in main bathroom was filthy. It was a struggle to shower because hot water was playing up in the main bathroom and the tiny second bathroom’s shower merely fits a grown up child. Otherwise our stay was pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and the apartment was just what we needed. The master bedroom and bathroom are great and the second room and bathroom, while very small, was adequate for my son to stay in. We appreciated the location - it’s a great neighborhood - and having the outdoor space was great too. Close to many restaurants and bars (and coffee places too!) as well as the Metro (which was very easy to use). We also appreciated the laundry and we made use of it. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great apartment in a brilliant location with metro and bus stops nearby. Eurospar shop across the road for any food/drink supplies you need. I stayed there with 2 other people and it was very spacious and another person would’ve been comfortable too as there was a sofa bed available if we needed. Check in was very easy and so was check out. Would highly recommend this apartment for 3-4 people to stay!

The flat was really confortable and in a great position. About the kitchen, it was really hard to cook something, cause the hob was really weak. It took nearly an hour to boil a pot of water. I hope they will take care of it.

We stayed in Damien's place with 2 people. It was very clean and well located next to the fresh market, bakery and coffee. However, the appartement is a bit old and dark. Beds are good, but you hear a lot of noise from the coridor and appartements above, so we didn't sleep so well. Some basic supply was also missing in the kitchen, as a towell to dry the dishes as there's not dishwasher. 2nd room and bashroom very small. Had stayed in another place of Damien that was much better.

A beautiful accommodation that was a 20 minute walk from truly everything, which in my opinion is a perfect location. I loved strolling the streets. The bus lines were right nearby and you could walk 3 minutes to a stop and find yourself at the beach 25 minutes later. The accommodation was delightful, fully stocked, and the hammock was such a treat. Lovely stay, lovely hosts!!

Damien's place is even better than advertised!! The place is positioned very well, close to supermarkets, local stores and also touristic locations. The apartment is also very nicely arranged. Since I was looking for a comfortable place to relax and also work/hold a few meetings on a daily basis, the apartment was more than equipped for this kind of situation. Wi-fi works really great and the speed is also really good. Damien is also extremely nice as a host and very fast to respond to messages and also requests. He managed to make sure that his place is clean and properly equipped in these COVID months and overall, I felt great and very comfortable at his apartment. Definitely looking forward to staying at this accommodation again in the future! 🙌

It was a great stay, the flat is very central and convenient. The only very negative thing was one of the bedrooms didn’t have a proper cover on the first night. There was only a sheet and some towels, so I slept very roughly the first night and was very cold. I texted Maria the next morning and asked for a cover and she brought one straight away. But having no proper cover in the bedroom shouldn’t have happened considering it’s not always couples who rent the place but friends who stay in separate rooms and need both rooms to be convenient. And there wasn’t enough toilet paper.

This place is truly "Perfect Location" to stay in Barcelona. There is a SPAR market directly across the street, small markets on every block, a pharmacy 3 doors down, coffee shop 2 doors down, an organic store around the corner, and large market Concepio around the corner. It is only a 20 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia, el Corte Ingles (large department store and groceries), or a metro stop. The place is super clean and modern. The bath towels are unbelievable large and plush. There is a nice terrace with small table off the livingroom to sit or eat a meal. The building is super secure with cameras and all. If you have any questions, someone from their team is responsive in a very timely manner. If I go back ... I would again choose this place.

PERFECT location! Very conveniently positioned near metro stations and easily walkable to most sites around Barcelona. Located a couple of streets away from the main areas also means a good night sleep after all that walking and Sangria! Would highly recommend to others!

Great location and easy check in process, BUT the second room is only pretty much a bed, no closet and no room to put absolutely anything. We had to park our luggage and all our belongings in the living room. The same goes for the second bathroom, which was tiny. The rest of the place was ok. Could have been a bit cleaner but overall ok. *** BE MINDFUL that there is no AC and if you are visiting during the summer months this would ruin your vacation***

Great location, within easy access to sites and super restaurants next door and across the street. Communication was responsive and comprehensive, with added info on things to do in Barcelona. The flat was super clean. I would note that the second bedroom and bathroom were very small and there is neighbourhood/apartment block noise. But for our purpose it worked out very well. It’s an accurate listing.

Great location - easy to get around. We did a lot of walking and taxi's but near public transportation as well. A/C in the bedroom which worked well for sleeping as it is a hot summer. Did not cook-in but you could as there are good facilities. Mini-market across the street and a larger market around the corner. Lokal restaurant right next door was great.

Damien had a nice flat. It was easy to get around the city from the airbnb. The flat was a little small for 4 adults. But we were out most of the time anyways. The only complaint was the air conditioning. It was a portable unit that vented out of a sliding glass door. So you could only have ac in one area. Damien and his crew were attentive and quick to get back to me when we communicated. I would recommend his place.

We loved this place and found it central and easy for everything we wanted to do on our visit to Barcelona. Loved the nearby markets for easy breakfasts, and easy walk to many destinations around the city. We thought they had central AC but it was one unit in one room. There were fans but on the hottest day it was hard to cool the place down. Overall an amazing place and we would stay again for sure. Damien was a great host and great communicator and Maria was fantastic introducing us to the flat!!

I found this apartment to be as advertised. Close to the metro and a market. Great for a short stay. For a longer stay, I don't know because the kitchen is rather minimalist. Easy welcome for the key exchange and well adaptable according to the possibilities and our availability ( ex: arrival time a little flexible, and at the start, we were able to leave the suitcases after 11 a.m., because it didn't bother)

Damien has a FANTASTIC key pick-up location that is literally 100 meters from the front door of the apartment! Check-in is a breeze! Lots of cafes in an “upscale” area and walking distance from major attractions! Lots of towels (HUGE plus)! Washer with hanging line to dry. Wonderful private patio to enjoy an open air beverage after a long day of site-seeing.

Check in was very simple, gracious and easy, with it being very well located. Great grocery shopping nearby, and cute little spots for espresso and snacks. The one major downside to the place was how noisy the neighbors were. Kids screaming, adults arguing and toilets flushing made it difficult to enjoy our stay. The furniture was all covered green sheets and not nearly as nice as the photos. Be warned that the master shower leaves water running throughout the restroom and into the bedroom.

Damien's place is exactly what the listing states - it's a 2bd apartment in a perfect location, a walking distance away from all the major Barcelona landmarks (Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter, Rambla, Gaudi's buildings...). The only downside is that the apartment is fairly old and has certain issues that might be annoying such as noisy plumbing and the furniture that is sparse and a little worn out. However, if you are looking for an on-budget place, that is centrally located this is a perfect spot. Bonus points also go for the proximity to the farmers market and grocery stores and pastry shops.

The apartment is not comfortable. It is unpleasant to live in it for a long time. A couple of nights - ok. And if you are going to spend the night there, it will do. Keep in mind that there are no split air conditioners, only the floor. Well, due to the fact that the window of the second bedroom opens into the mine, there will be no fresh air there. There is almost no storage space in the apartment. Two wardrobes with hangers, one open shelf, in the second closet there are household items. Bedside shelves fall out of the wall, so they are tilted and you can't put anything on them. There is also a table in the apartment. And with places to store that's it. I don't recommend this apartment at all. Although the host is great, writes a lot, comes up with different programs to communicate with, but to make repairs, put soap boxes in the shower, fix the parquet, bring a good kettle, fix the toilet paper holders, make it so that the door to the mine does not beat the refrigerator door - this is not the case. It's just stuff. I would like to mention the light. There's only one photoshop.

Great location between Passieg de Gracia and Sagrada Familia. Very walkable location and great connections to transit. Host offered flexible check-in and met us at the apartment. Bottle of Cava and water were a nice touch. There were a few minor issues, but nothing major: apartment could have been a little cleaner, you could hear the plumbing from upstairs in the bedroom occasionally, door to laundry space had to be open to open/close refrigerator door. With that being said, I would still recommend this place for those wanting the great location in the city.

Pictures represent the actual place, no surprises there. Communication-wise Damien responded immediately to my questions, before and during my stay. His email prior to arrival regarding reaching the property from the airport was simply outstanding. A huge supermarket Spar is across the street, few bakeries are around the corner, and bus & metro access was within a walking distance (even for this 76 years old). Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo are within walking distance. And so is the main hub Placa de Catalunya. If I come back to Barcelona, this is where I will be staying. Thanks Damien

Pros: Great location 2-3 blocks away from metro and shopping avenue, excellent communication. Cons: Tight shower, can hear doors slamming, water running from each room. im a light sleeper so this was an issue for me.

This apartment is in a wonderful location. Easy access to the Gothic Quarter shops and restaurants. The apartment itself has a large main bedroom, with a modern ensuite. The living space is large, plus there is a large outside deck to spend drinking your morning coffee. The host, Damien and Karolina were easy to deal with and very helpful at all times. A highly recommended host and location.

Loved staying at Damien’s place! We were originally suppose to stay at another Airbnb in Barcelona but had some complications when arriving and booked Damien’s place the day of. He was super helpful and communicative and made the change of stay very easy. We were met by Karolina upon arrival who was very welcoming and offered great suggestions of places to see and restaurants to try. The apartment itself was fantastic - great location, clean, lots of space, and cute interior. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting and would stay here again!

Had a good time at Damien's apartment. This one is great location and very clean. In terms of hospitality, there is nothing to repeat. We were received on time despite our late arrival. We even got the map with the supermercats open to do our first shopping. The stay was pleasant as was the terrace to enjoy the mornings.

The place looks exactly like the pictures. Everything is okay. Little old but okay. Kitchen is just okay for breakfast nothing more. The person who welcomed us was very nice and professional, responsive and friendly. Sadly the BIG negative point is the AC. The place description is not right. It does not have a proper AC. Just a fan that require a tub outside with the windows open and makes a lot a noise and absolutely no fresh air. Heat in bedrooms is... just not okay especially during heat wave. Im one word they place is okay but description is wrong. Would have not book this place knowing about AC.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay in this apartment. This is location in a great/local-vibe neighborhood, surrounded by cafe's, bars, and and awesome market. The both of us never been to Barcelona and wanted to make sure we were somewhat close to some commercial areas but not be surrounded by tourists. This apartment fit the mold. Karolina greeted us upon check in and was EXTREMELY helpful letting us know where to go for such things. Super responsive which was great. Thank you!

The pics are misleading about the second “bedroom”. And also, that’s not a bedroom. In hospitality there’s a general standard on what one would expect when thinking about a bedroom. A bedroom typically has some space, a bed, a closet and a chair or place to set your stuff. This was just 4 walls that barely fit a bed. It really looked like a jail cell. I personally would be embarrassed to rent my apartment out like that and claim I have two bedrooms. The apartment is also VERY dark, you feel like you’re in a basement the whole time. Other than that, the kitchen and other bedroom were fine, and the friendliness of Damien and Maria were excellent. I would recommend only to people that just need one bedroom and would be ok compromising the apartment being very dark for being in a great location.

Great place to stay in Barcelona! This was a great location, with awesome restaurants nearby. The host communicates a lot (which I like) and had many restaurant recommendations - the ones we tried were all delicious. The host also let us have an early check-in and late check-out, which was super helpful for the timing of our flights. The apt is good, very clean, which I appreciate! The bedrooms are not of equal size (not even close), so keep that in mind if that's important to you. The only downside was the noise in the bedroom - you could hear the water pipes from other apartments, which was quite noisy but mostly just in the morning and not when we were sleeping, so that's good. Everything else was great. We didn't spend much time in the apartment itself but the neighbors were all friendly and the location was key.

Excellent place, it make you feel in home, each room has their privacy. It's not the biggest apartment but it has the must you need. It was a Spare supermarket just in 20 mts in front so you can go and buy grocerys and cook in apartment. It's near from Sagrada Familia around 1.6km walking, it has the metro just 3 blocks in verdaguer station and buses near too.. Simple and excellent and for the price you got just a great value for the money

But on the negative side we found the apartment didn't live up to expectations, furniture is sparse and very cheap, the apartment is much more worn that it appears on the photos and it needs some maintenance and upgrading. It's a reasonably sized apartment with two separate bedrooms and two toilets in the best part of town. Great for two couples. All info is correct. The only thing it doesn't tell you - there's almost no natural light coming from the windows because of a wall facing the spacious patio. But hey, who comes to Barcelona to sit in an apartment! It's a perfect place to come back to in the evening and have breakfast in the morning. And you can't beat the price. Everyone involved was friendly and professional. All in all we're completely satisfied.

This apartment is a great location. You can pretty much walk everywhere, and if you don't have 3 different subway stops 3 blocks away in different directions where you can access several subway lines. The apartment is very complete, and on the between floors, you can go up by elevator or climb about 10 steps. One of the rooms has very good light and a beautiful and spacious bathroom. The other smaller room is less lit, and the second bathroom is small, but honestly for one floor in a metropolis it is more space than you can find on other floors. 100% recommended

Damien was easy to deal with and flat is well equipped and in a great location. Super quiet for Barcelona. The two bedrooms are not of equal size, one is comically large and the other is quite small, same with showers in each bathroom. Just keep that in mind before you book. Otherwise, great place!

Great location and Damien has been very responsive, especially as I booked super last minute and then my flight was delayed - still worked out very well. I stayed in September which is perfect. There's a (loud) stationary mono-block A/C but it's not great - Summer might be a bit tough if you're not used to the heat. WiFi was not reliable nor fast but the host is informed and said he'll look into it. Bathroom fully renovated and really nice. Secure door to the apartment, easy entrance (1st floor, so not very bright but easy as a city base). The neighbour loved to phone loudly next to me, which made working a bit hard, but that's Spain, so I didn't mind. Also this only happened during the day, the nights were quiet and I got great sleep. Kitchen had a coffee machine and tabs and the was even some detergent on the washing machine so I didn't had to buy one. Oh - supermarket is right across the apartment, couldn't be more convenient! Place was clean and there were nice small shower and shampoo bottles.

Damien and his team work great and smoothly! Upon arrival at the entrance, Diana met us and promptly showed us everything. The apartment was clean and large. One bedroom, a seating and a bathroom is very large and bright. The second bedroom and bathroom are significantly smaller and the window in the bedroom opens to the patio. All appliances are working. The apartment is well located. Close to all sights of Barcelona. Walking distance to Sagrado Last name, Balio House, Mile House. There are two metro lines close by. It is especially pleasant to have a market close to the house. Overall, I would like to stay in the future. And I will recommend this apartment to my friends.

I could not possibly be more satisfied with the AirBnB I rented from Damien. - His helpers were on time, helpful, and friendly. - He and his team quickly responded to an unforeseen issue that was no fault of their own. A lock on the door failed and they quickly arranged for a helper to assist (thanks Maria!!!). She in turn quickly organized a locksmith-- even on a Saturday! - He and his team more or less immediately responded to any correspondence. - The flat was clean and well-appointed. I'm glad we had AC in the hot summer days. It would work well for a family, two friends, anyone. - The location was ideal. Gracias, Damien + team! Nice apartment - very convenient location near Sagrada Familia and close to public transportation. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner and ready for guests, that was the only downside. Also the door leading to the laundry area needs fixing since it was very hard to open and close. Besides that we had a very good stay in Barcelona for 3 nights. We had a good time staying at Damien's apartment as it was in a safe and well located neighborhood close to all the sights and many restaurants and bars. Damien and his team were very professional and made the check in and check out formalities very easy and convenient. The only 2 issues we faced was that the second bedroom and bathroom was too tiny to be used by adults or grown children and the lack of air conditioning made it hot and uncomfortable as we stayed there in hot June.

The only complaint is that it's not quite as big or bright as it looks in pictures and the wifi is a bit slow, but these were only minor inconveniences. Stayed for 3 nights. Apartment clean and spacious for 2 guests. Main Bathroom was excellent with a fabulous rainfall shower and was very large. Patio area was a great private outdoor space. Communication with host was spot on and they were all very helpful. Was within walking distance to many of the tourist spots and taxis were quite reasonably priced. Metro stations close by also. You can discover Barcelona on foot from Damien's ( provide sneakers ) 2 bedrooms including one with bathroom which is perfect and 1 much smaller which would be more convenient can be With a click because the bed takes up all the space . Functional , clean and simple apartment. Supermarket just across the street ( spar ideal for troubleshooting ) car parks right next door ( remember to negotiate the price before leaving the car , thanks to Karolina for the trick ) . Its located in a great place, max 10 minutes from the Sagrada Familia and had metro and supermarkets less then 5 minutes away. Damien gave some great suggestions about places to eat. We really enjoyed staying in Damien's apartment, really clean and just as shown in the pictures. The location was ideal as we didn't want to be bang in the middle of the touristy areas but still have access to the main attractions like the Sagrada and other Gaudi masterpieces. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants located closeby make life easier too. The blinds in both rooms were stuck when we arrived but Maria ensured they got fixed the next day. I would say that the only glitch is the water noise that you hear from the other apartments which is kind of annoying early in the mornings! And the bed in the master bedroom is not the most comfortable and creaks with every twist and turn. But since we had the whole apartment to ourselves, my husband and I shifted to the second bedroom the next night, and it was a lot more comfortable. Maybe they should switch the beds :) Overall a great experience when we visited in the fall so would definitely go back.

Great apartment in a good location. Walking distance to La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Casa Batllo and metro stations. Damien and team were very responsive to all communication, before we arrived, when we extended our stay and when we needed to ask for a later checkout. They clearly work hard to provide good service and information to make it as easy as possible arriving in the city. Apartment was clean and comfortable and plenty of cafes, restaurants etc near by if you don't feel like heading out too far to eat. It's in an apartment block where you have a sense of people living but not too noisy and remarkably free of traffic noise. We booked quite late so were delighted to find something that worked perfectly for our needs.

Great stay in the centre of Barcelona - the property was in a superb location, right in the middle of the city so never more than half an hour's walk in any direction to Park Guell/Sagrada Familia/Montjuic/the waterfront etc... - we only got the metro once in five days! Damien was extremely helpful and quick to respond in the lead up to our holiday, and Carolina who met us at the apartment was very friendly and helpful too - we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. The flat was clean and just as advertised, there'll be more spacious and luxurious apartments on the market but for our needs (a base to explore the city from) and for the price it was perfect. Comfortable beds and seating area, handy little kitchen, and the highlight of the apartment was a spacious en-suite off the main bedroom with a wonderful rain shower. The area was a bustly area of the city, but out of the main melee of tourists and shoppers so not too busy. Nice restaurants and bars were a stone's throw away, there's a good little convenience store over the road, and a fantastic market with really tasty fresh produce just 'round the corner.

My experience at Damien's place was great. I needed a room at the last minute and he was able to accommodate me with ease. His assistant Karolina met me and was available throughout my stay whenever I had questions. The apartment is conveniently located and easy to walk to and from La Rambla, El Born & Barceloneta Beach. If needed, I would definitely stay at Damien's place again. Having the washing machine allowed me to wash a weeks worth of clothing and easily line dry them.

However, we are dissatisfied because we were two couples and one of the couples had to use a very uncomfortable, small room with the heat they do at this time, they had an extremely old fan. We would have felt good about this reservation if we had been informed in advance of the exact description of that apartment. But it's not what the pictures show.

Description of the apartment was accruate - very well suited for our needs. As has been mentioned in other reviews, this apartment can get quite noisy, as it's an apartment block. The noise of water flow can be heard clearly from the master bedroom, which was rather frustrating at times when trying to rest. On the whole - a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect location indeed! We stayed there for a week and were able to walk to almost all the places we wanted to visit (Passeig de Gracia, Plaça Catalunya, La Rambla, Sagrada Familia, etc.). The apartment pictures are accurate and communication with Damien and his team was efficient and easy. Also, it is approximately a 5 min walk to the Passeig de Gracia Renfe (train) station which can bring you back and forth from the airport very, very cheaply (using a T10 ticket, just Google it...). Overall, very satisfied. Thank you Damien!

I can't say enough good things about staying at Damien's Airbnb in Barcelona last week. The apartment itself was perfect for our intended use and I found it was within walking distance of many good sights and restaurants. We also made use of the metro station both Passeig de Gràcia and Girona were close by. We loved the market with its fresh fish, meat, vegetables and wine. Although we didn't really prepare meals in the apartment (except for maybe breakfast on some days), we found that the apartment had everything we needed. If we had any issues or questions they were responded to immediately and always with satisfaction. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

This apartment is truly in a great location. There's a grocery store across the street, a large market with everything two short blocks away and restaurants and cafes galore! Everything necessary (and much more) was provided upon arrival and when I had a question about the washer there was someone there in just minutes. Damien's flat is very nice: it's central, safe, clean and has a great terrace. We were 2 friends so we each slept in a different room. The flat can easily hosts 4 people, so we had a nice space just for us. It is not very modern, but then again it's in fair condition. The area is amazing and there are lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets just a minute walk from home. I would stay there again when I'm in Barcelona next.

This was out first airbnb experience and Damien and his team made it very easy for us with good communication and offers of help before we arrived. Maria met us at the apartment and showed us how things worked. When we had an issue with the blind in the bedroom she dealt with it speedily and it was fixed the next day. The apartment is as it looks in the pictures and it was clean. We didn't use the balcony as we were there over Christmas while visiting family. Although the weather was cold the flat was warm and comfortable. The main bedroom is spacious and the bed was comfortable although there is some noise from water flow from the apartment above. The kitchen was smaller than we expected but as we only ever had breakfast in the apartment that wasn't an issue. The area itself was in a great location: central Barcelona, Gracia, the Sagrada Familia, and even Parc Guell are all within easy walking distance. The Metro is a short walk. There are several good supermarkets, a bakery, bars and tapas bars around the block. We often walked back late at night and the neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe.

Damien and his Team are great, so quick in responding to any email / contact made and really attentive. Maria met us late on a friday evening and was super kind and forth coming with info about Barcelona. The apartment is lovely - very clean and bigger then it looks in the pictures. I would highly recommend the flat for your stay - a bit of a stroll in to central Barcelona - but well worth it to have the peace and quiet - nice cafe's and a great bakery just round the corner. Wish we could have stayed there longer :).

I was met by Karolina (my memory, her name), and she was very upbeat, personable- however, I could have used the info of where to put the garbage as in outside on the street, a grey container. I requested more garbage bags, dish soap, and they arrived the next day. Every email was answered by Damien almost immediately, very RESPONSIVE. The sliding door was broken, not able to lock, and it was repaired in about 3 days. That said, chilled champagne in fridge was wonderful- the apartment is very clean, lit with light, white furnishings, cheerful. They might add two sunflowers (under 3 eruos at wonderful market around the corner), for example, to the dining table, and refresh the 'potpourri' in a dish, coffee table, once a month (kinda sad), water plants as it implies care- I watered them while there. The kitchen had everything to prepare a meal, which my niece and I did happily- and the 2 bedrooms perfect for us. The apartment is VERY COMFORTABLE and I would return as well as recommend to friends, family, students. You can walk to Carrera Gracia, a series of great shops and cafes on every street, benches to sit on under old, beautiful trees everywhere we walked...the placas/plazas with fountains, little restaurants/cafes there...the fresh vege/fruit stands are stunning, and the MARKETS marvelous. As they are in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where I live most of the year...I felt right at home, Spanish, Catalan in my ears. And go to Las Ramblas at night for the most wonderful tapas, wish I remembered the name/street, off of a placa, Basilica Santa Maria where we heard masterful guitar...there, you might find it. To Barcelonetta for grilled LOBSTER, Spain's Esmeralda vino... the restaurant at the top of the museum Montjuic, the rainbow fountain at night...and the restaurants at the top of the shopping mall across from it after rainbow fountain, truly a marvelous show. If you stay here you'll be very comfortable, at home, and able to wander to all the beauty Barcelona has to offer (Gaudi is present everywhere). The one challenge you might have is the 'big shower' as in the water switches from hot/warm to cold suddenly...the trick is to not mess with temperature too much once you find it, and only add hot slowly. The 'small shower' runs all over the floor- we just used the big one. All the at home quirks...go to the marvelous market around the street when you arrive, it's all there, enjoy.

We will always fondly remember 116 Bruc, Barcelona, as our home away from home during the 10 days we spent there in September, 2014. We were greeted by Karolina and she showed us around the apartment and gave us information about the area. We loved the apartment and we loved the great L'Eixample neighborhood the apartment was located in. While the hustle and bustle of the Plaza Catalunia and the Las Ramblas was close by, it was great to just walk a few blocks away and have it be our quiet 'hood'. It was easy to find great local restaurants for eat and drink and plenty of grocery stores to stock up on food for the apartment. The architecture in the neighborhood was mind blowing. We very much enjoyed our stay at the apartment and are glad we didn't stay in a hotel close to the tourist areas. We would definitely stay there again. Good job, guys! Richie and Randi

We had a wonderful time in Barcelona and felt completely at home in the apartment from as soon as we arrived. Carolina, who met us on arrival, was bright, friendly and very helpful. The apartment itself is very comfortable and its position is excellent with a big market just round the corner as well as a fresh bakery and a spar right across the road for any bits and bobs. It is also five mins walk from the metro, which was very handy. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was excellent. I would highly recommend this apartment and city!

Karolina was so welcoming and allowed us to store bags at the apartment and take the keys before checkin. We had an all day event to attend so her accommodating out schedule was super nice. She also maintained great communication prior to the booking and though out the stay. Very professional and just what you need to make you feel at ease when booking an apartment international. Great size and amazing location that is super quiet but close to everything. Great TV channel selection and large balcony that was nice for sitting. Super clean apartment!! Shower temperature would turn hot to cold in seconds which was a bit of an issue, stovetop range doesn't generate much heat, and there was an air conditioning unit I stalked but did not help for the 2nd bedroom.

Damien and his team work great and smoothly! Upon arrival, we were met near the house and promptly showed us everything. There was a small nuance washing machine was broken, but we were given the opportunity to wash things in a spare apartment in a neighboring house, so there was no problem. A new washing machine was delivered on the day of departure. Everything else is fine. The apartment was clean and large. One bedroom, living room and bathroom are very large and bright. The second bedroom and bathroom are significantly smaller and the bedroom window opens to the patio. In general, I would give this apartment 9 out of 10 points and would like to stay in it in the future.

The flat was just as advertised. Beautiful, clean and spacious. Trhe location was superb, an easy walk to everything, sites, restaurants, and shopping. Damien and co were very good with their communication. They were responsive and ensured that we were able to check in very late. The only downside was that the flat did not have an air conditioner, which made it somewhat uncomfortable since I was visiting during the heat of the summer. But Damien brought an extra fan upon request which made it better. If you're European and okay without air conditioning, this probably won't be an issue for you. As an American, it was a little harder for me but overall, it was still a lovely flat in a great location.

Damien's apt is pleasant, very clean and very well located. The fresh produce market around the corner, easy walk to Metro, Supermarket across the road all help make it a very convenient locale which we enjoyed immensely. Walking into the centre of city while a reasonable walk is very possible. The very efficient fan was essential for comfortable sleeping as it does get quite hot his time of year. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Everything went as expected, at the time of our arrival there was someone at the door to welcome us, so it was great, as I was anxious about it, because it was my first Airbnb experience. The apartment was spacious, and with everything we could need! The location is truly perfect just a few blocks away from the exciting Barcelona, but at the same time, in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood!

I highly recommend this apartment which was attractive, clean and comfortable. The location is close to many of the attractions without being in the middle of a tourist filled area, and restaurants and a wonderful market are close by. I found the staff very helpful and concerned for my well being

The apartment was perfect; clean, sunny and great for 2 women wanting their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, the apartment is situated in an excellent part of town. Damien and his assistant (sorry forget her name just now) were great and easily available to answer questions, make dinner reservations and help with directions. The apartment was exactly as I represented online, exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a great location. Just a 15 minute walk to the road that leads to the heart of the city where we were able to catch the Barcelona Tour Bus. Close enough for a nice walk to La Rambla. Also, walking distance to shops like Gucci, Armani, Channel and others. Supermarket right across the street from the apartment, bakery around the corner, and a great market selling meats and cheeses close by, located in a safe neighborhood, we walked at night to the local restaurants and felt very safe. I would certainly recommend the location. The only downside was that the flat was a little noisy for us, we are not use to having people living above us. Damien was great at setting up a cab ride to and from the airport and answered questions and was easy to get hold of and very helpful. I would certainly recommend both the company and the flat.

The appartment was great and Damien has proved to be a great host. We felt welcome and everything was arranged for us and our little baby as agreed before arrival. The location is indeed perfect with many restaurants, bakeries and cafes nearby and a supermarcet on the other side of the street - other just around the corner. We'd book this appartment again when coming to Barcelona. Highly recommended!
