Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or a fun-filled break on the Fylde coast, The Retreat is a welcoming three bedroom holiday home. Located in the heart of the Victorian seaside town of Lytham St Annes, it’s the perfect place to enjoy sandy shores and explore all of the town’s history. Ideal for staycations with friends and family, The Retreat has everything you could need for a self-catering break. What's more, you'll have access to a private hot tub and cinema room!

The space

The Retreat has a bright and spacious living room where you can relax with your loved ones. With a large sofa, matching armchair and a 55 inch 4K Smart TV with SKY Q , it’s the ideal spot to unwind. The property also boasts a second living space with a 3metre U-shaped sofa that can also be made up as a bed, and a 65 inch 4K Smart TV with SKY Q so you can head here for some peace and quiet.

The second living area leads off to the kitchen to the left which features spotlights and bright fittings to give the space a light feel. Fully equipped, the kitchen has modern appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily.

The Retreat has a conservatory dining room with a large dining table, five dining chairs and a bench.

Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find three bedrooms and the family bathroom. Spacious and comfortable, the master bedroom benefits from a super-king size bed, plush bedding and premium bed linens, as well as a 50 inch 4K Smart TV with SKY Q.

The second bedroom on the first floor is home to a comfortable four-poster king-size bed. A chair bed is also available in the room which can be made up upon request. A 50 inch 4K Smart TV with SKY Q is also available.

The family bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub with Smart TV, rainfall walk in shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

On the second floor, you’ll find a further bedroom with three small double beds. The space also forms the property’s cinema room and has three double beds and a walk-in wardrobe, along with a modern ensuite shower room.

Additional bed options are available at The Retreat, with a large 3m sofa bed available on the ground floor which can also be made up upon request.

Head outside and you’ll find a family-friendly enclosed garden. This large space includes outdoor seating, a hot tub, a spa style cold water bucket, and a small football goal.

Guest access

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. No permit is required.

Stag & hen parties are strictly prohibited at The Retreat. The property is tailored towards quiet family holidays.

Great stay. The area is very residential, so you do need to keep the noise down, understandably with music, but also conversation. In fairness this is mentioned in the listing, I think I misjudged how much! Overall I would highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot. The house is beautiful and the hosts really had thought of everything you might need on your stay. Lytham and Blackpool both very accessible with a Sainsbury's close by too. And the house itself is so spacious and comfy too!

We had a great couple of days at host and stay. The house is beautiful and just as described on the website. The location is great - just 10 minute walk to Lytham St Anne’s beach and local shops. The hot tub is always a bonus - there is space for at least 5 adults Great for a group of adults or sensible teens - I would not recommend if you have younger children mainly due to the decoration being a bit lighter. The team are really responsive which made the trip even better.

Lovely home to rent for the weekend, beautiful decor, very clean, felt like home from home. Bedrooms were spacious and very put together. Perfect for our girls Christmas getaway. Close to Lytham, which had lovely bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended 🩷
