Property had not been cleaned before we arrived, heavy staining on carpets, not hoovered, cutlery and plates were dirty, shower mouldy and floors had not been mopped. Host and stay then failed to arrange cleaning until the day before we left. On the morning before we left there was water coming in through the spotlights in the hall and bathroom due to heavy rain. After spending most of our stay taking pictures of the dirt in the property and messaging host and stay to clean the property we are now waiting for some sort of compensation especially after being charged £50 cleaning fee! Not impressed at all and certainly do not recommend.

We’ve stayed in Saltburn many times. The apartment is right in the centre of all the bars and restaurants and a few minutes away from the beach. Lovely

The apartment is lovely. Walking distance from the beach and restaurants. We're a family of 5 and size wise it's appropriate for a long weekend away. Modern decor and equipment. Considering the location and the fact we went on peak season I think it was good value. Note the requirement to pay for insurance on the property. It's not expensive and it's explained before you book, but something to consider as an added cost to the holiday.

Great easy access and communication. We had a small issue with a faulty door which I reported and it was dealt with in a matter of minutes. Really clean and cosy lovely bedrooms. Bears and restaurants all within 5 mins walk. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment & a great use of space. The living space & kitchen were excellent & it’s located in a great spot, just a steady 5 min stroll to the beach & shops, cafes, bars, supermarkets & the train station are 2 minutes away, yet we had no noise disturbance . The storage room next to the bathroom was very handy, however, it would have made a brilliant second WC. There is only 1 other apartment up the stair case & it appears to be another holiday let. Our neighbours were quiet so we had no issues at all. Nice decor & lovely & clean. I’d certainly recommend as it was great value for money. There was also a handy grassed area directly opposite for our dog.

Nice apartment, clean and fairly comfortable. Only issue is that there are sky lights instead of windows in the bedrooms. It rained the whole time and the noise made it difficult to sleep. No dishwasher and no means of recycling.

Great cosy flat. Very comfy beds and 2 extra small rooms for storing coats and shoes etc. Close to the shops, great bars and the beach. We will be back!

The apartment was spacious, clean and well located. Host & Stay gave useful instructions and a handy guide to the property before check-in. The parking isn’t reserved but we were able to park just outside the door. There is a step in the hallway to be aware of but the apartment is nicely decorated and we enjoyed our stay.

Our first Airbnb experience and we loved our stay in Saltburn. Perfect property for what we needed. Easy (and free) parking, spot on location, easy check in. Central location in Saltburn but nice and quiet with all the amenities you’d want close by. Great pizza bar and micropub within 3 minutes walk plus a supermarket and chemist. The property itself was as described and very clean. We had a problem with the wifi and accessing anything on tv on the first eve. We hoped it would just be a one off. Same problems the second evening so we reported it and by lunchtime the next day and engineer had arrived and sorted it in time for our last evening. All in a lovely mini break with the family. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.

The flat itself is lovely. Crockery and dishes were dirty which is disappointing when you pay a £50 cleaning fee. Also Host & Stay don’t point out on any listing that they actually take a £260 “holding fee” for damage. It doesn’t stay as a pending transaction like I expected, they actually take the money out of your bank account for up to 4 weeks. Something to bear in mind, if I had known we would’ve booked elsewhere as I don’t have a spare £260 at the minute!! £10 of that is non refundable so you pay an admin fee for them taking a further £250 of your money?? I disputed that with them and they advised they would refund the £10, said it would take 3-5 working days to appear.. That was 11 working days ago and still had nothing come in. It’s a huge shame because it’s such a nice part of the country but this company own a lot of rentals there and we will not be staying anywhere with them again.

The Milton was a beautiful property. Very lovely decor. Excellent location with great bars and restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend and stay there again for future visits. Great it was dog friendly too. Thanks, Lorna

Modern, well decorated and clean apartment. Excellent location! Easy walk to beach and shops. Parking was available on road. The only downside was there were no windows that could be opened for freash air, fans were provided but these cannot replace fresh air. Roof lanterns were great solution for day light. Will definitely recommend Stay, if checkout time is changed to 11am from 10am then it will be more convenient especially for families with children. It was a short but memorable trip!

Lovely flat. Very clean. Perfect location. A minute to the beach. Supermarket opposite. Lovely local shops and butchers. No dishwasher but not a problem for us, large sink. Washer dryer in well stocked kitchen. Yea, coffee and a pint of milk on arrival. Lovely toiletries. Very comfortable beds. Only downside is the flat was very warm (we stayed in August) fans are provided in all rooms but I can’t sleep with a fan on but probably not a problem for most. Shower is lovely. Overall a good stay in a perfect location.
