Clean, comfortable and convenient: what more could you ask for? We were 5 people and having two full bathrooms was really useful for getting going in the morning. The views of the Abbey are sublime.

Perfect location especially for toddlers, it was a short walk to the beach and to the nearest Co-op. Lovely view of the Abbey from the master bedroom. The hosts were fab and the welcome package was lovely! If we weren't dairy free we would have eaten it all. If you do have dietary requirements there are plenty of places around this cottage to get dairy free and gluten free food. It was an ideal little holiday for us.

Great communication from host. Despite agent saying it didn't have a highchair when we asked them, there actually was one in the kitchen which was a great help with our one year old. Kitchen had great range of utensils. Great showers in both bathrooms. Fantastic location, central, but set back enough so that the noisey harbor that this didn't cause us any problems at all. Strange line up of channels on the TV and no apps (no iPlayer, Netflix etc), but we were not there to watch TV so not huge issue, but would have occasionally helped to put on family film etc (there was a small selection of DVDs in draw). Fantastic views from upstairs and kitchen. Very homely, would certainly recommend/return, a home away from home 👍

It's our third time staying in the cottage, and we had another amazing time. It's in a fantastic location and has parking on site, which was great. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're staying in whitby.

A lovely house, with really thoughtful touches and a fantastic view of the Abbey. A great location and a handy parking space (although beware of seagulls redecorating your car). In total there are a few more steps in total than stated, but it’s good exercise. We did have trouble with the key (previous occupants) but the owner quickly got us a new one cut. Overall we really enjoyed our stay

We had a short break at Paradise Cottage and it was superb. Such a quaint setting with fantastic views. We loved it! Absolutely everything you could think of was supplied, and the welcome hamper was a wonderful surprise. We wished we could have spent longer in this beautiful place. Probably not ideal for someone with mobility issues as there are several steps to negotiate before arriving in paradise.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage had everything we wanted and is in the perfect location - close to the town yet well away from all the hustle and bustle. The coastal walks we did from Whitby were a joy!!

We had a fantastic stay here and the hosts left some lovely welcome gifts and came to see us when we arrived. They couldn’t have done enough for us! It was a lovely location and a really lovely little place! Highly recommend

Great cottage with lovely views in the middle of Whitby but you are away from the madding crowd. Had a few issues with poor TV reception but hopefully that will soon be fixed. We had a lovely stay and will definitely book again.

What a fantastic cottage. Perfect in every way - amenities, welcome, peaceful and central location. Great WiFi and free, guaranteed parking outside. We appreciated the welcome pack. We were very comfortable and would love to return. Book here, you will love it. Tips: 1. There are many steps up to the property. However, I have a dodgy knee and coped ok. It is only a problem if you have mobility issues. 2. Bring a laptop if you want movie nights as there's only freeview on offer. Or bring DVDs, the selection provided is pretty limited.

Fantastic location, and beautiful cottage. Amazing views! The cottage is really clean and well presented, and has everything you need. Parking really handy. The hosts communicate everything you need to know when you need to know it. We definitely hope we can come back again one day.

Iain & Heather were such lovely hosts, even if you’ve been to Whitby before and want recommendations for places to eat, ask them, they really know their stuff! Would definitely come back to this beautiful property.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Paradise Cottage. The Cottage was well equipped with everything required for a typical family stay. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture. All rooms were beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable. The central location had lovely views and was perfect for exploring Whitby and surrounding area with the beach, harbour and shops within easy walking distance. The steps up to the cottage from the car park could cause a problem for someone with limited mobility but proved no problem for us. We would love to return and would highly recommend this property to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Paradise Cottage in Whitby was lovely and perfectly suited our needs - family of 4 (all adults). The location was excellent as was the information provided before and after arrival. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. We loved all the decorative touches and particularly liked the outside spaces at the front and back. We were very lucky with the weather and these were great for breakfast etc. Parking was also very helpful. The cottage was very clean which was very much appreciated and we loved the welcome pack. Whitby is a great place to explore and the cottage has a fantastic central location with views of the Abbey and Church. Lots of good places to eat and we loved walking bits of the Cleveland way.

What a beautiful place! One of, if not the best Airbnb property we've stayed in. Exceptionally clean, really comfy beds and lounge furniture, well equipped and in a fantastic peaceful but central location in Whitby. Iain and the team were also great, friendly, communicative hosts. We will certainly be back and thoroughly recommend Paradise Cottage.
