Had a lovely weekend in Whitby. Host and Stay gave clear and prompt communication, the apartment was clean and tidy on arrival and no improvements needed. Would highly recommend :-) wifi great, location was great, you just walk straight through the park opposite and you will come out near the Main Street where all the arcades, shops and seafront is.

Wonderful apartment, with secure parking, and great location which was perfect for what we wanted. The apartment was beautiful and decorated to a good standard, it had everything we needed. We were really comfortable and it was very secure so we felt safe. It was a 10 minute walk into Whitby where there were loads of restaurants and cafe’s, cute shops and things to do. The hosts instructions were clear and accurate and they communicated well. We would definitely stay here again if we returned and we would happily choose another property from this host.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and kitted out and has the bonus of the private garden and entrance. Lovely peaceful location with a short walk in to Whitby and to the beach.

Large, modern 2 bedroom apartment with outdoor space. Easy walking distance of Whitby town centre. The distance from the garage to apartment 16 is quite long with a few steps at the end. Also you have a choice of paying £25 damage insurance, or depositing £250 (which we did). That caused some tension because we found the apartment had some minor scuffs and scratches. Also, if you have 2 cars to park (as we did) there is only one garage space and you can only use the visitor parking for 24 hours. Also we didn't get how to use the main entrance and decided, along with others, to enter the building via the garage roller-shutter door.

The apartment was good. Entrance was through the garage – yes even when walking the front door was out of bounds to us. Entrance was through the garage - a somewhat second class access route. The inability to use the front door from the array of keys provided was not flagged in advance – we felt constrained to the tradesmen’s entrance! The location was great, the parking a great boon and the overall level of the facility was pretty good. The £250 deposit scheme plus £10 fee left an unpleasant taste. Most places where this is done (eg car hire) put a potential retainer through – here they take your money and only return it some 10 working days after you leave. Annoying & disappointing that AirBnB permit this practice. Their easy access helpline offers neither ease, access nor much help! It sounded like a harassed call centre somewhere with a stock response to issues being read off a computer prompt. All in all Caedmon’s Prospects could improve with a better attitude.

Lovely place perfect location for us with bonus of on site parking . Just 10 minute walk to the main front. Very clean comfortable and everything we needed . I would definitely stay again 😊

Very nice, quiet, comfortable and well located accommodation. The only problem was that the kitchen was not very clean and lack of toilet paper (already indicated in a previous review). I would recommend this place for Whitby, we had a pleasant stay in this apartment.

The flat is perfectly located and the private parking space is a bonus. Plenty of space to accommodate us even on the rainy days. A short walk to Whitby centre (5-10mins), the flat is a great central location. the outdoor space would have been great too (we had a wet few days so didn't get to use it much). Perfect space for a small family, quiet and private. Host and stay are very responsive to any queries.

We were very impressed by the property which was in an excellent location, very clean and rooms great sizes. There was a lovely outside patio area ensuite and further guest bathroom. Would definitely return .

Good location, short walk to the centre. Cosy flat with good amenities. Previous reviews stated this flat was very clean however on our stay we found a few issues and felt the cleanliness could have been better. Feel some updates are needed for the flat but overall it worked as a base for a weekend away.

Clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. We wanted a base and this provided everything we required. Excellent Thankyou. Info for others.... Underground carpark is lit at night but at 6pm in April not so light --- you will need torchlight to use the keysafe which is in a 'dark' corner. For people with mobility issues the lift to second floor leaves you with about a dozen steps to negotiate -- getting out at the third floor instead halves the number of steps. Enjoy.

Lovely clean apartment close to the centre. We would have appreciated more toilet paper as not enough for 4 people! Also the communal tea and coffee wasn’t hygienic (not individually wrapped) but overall a lovely stay. Thank you.

Excellent place to stay small walk from the centre of Whitby (5 mins depending how fast you walk) but perfect placement for us. The place was a good size clean and tidy. For people like me the showers had good water pressure am sad I know but it’s one of my home comforts i have a good shower. The secure car parking space is a plus and the host was very helpful and gave a lot of good information about the flat and the local area.

Great location and comfy flat. Good facilities. Somewhat disappointed by communication we discovered some small damage in the property and contacted them to advise because we had been forced to pay £250 deposit. The damage was minor and did not spoil the apartment but Host and Stay would not acknowledge that the damage was already there and never have. A week after we left we finally got confirmation of the deposit being returned. As this is a company not an individual I found no understanding or empathy that I have experienced in previous stays and some of their messaging was quite cold and unfeeling

Lovely stay, the apartment is beautifully kept and really central to walk into Whitby or drive out and about to explore the surrounding area. Lovely big bath to have a soak in after a long walk. Also great to have the big patio area at the back to make the most of on nice days.

Communication from hoste and stay was great however superhog continuously asked me to supply my I.d to stay there. It is not mandatory so just ignore them. Reviews for super hog tell it all and it has put me off using a hoste and stay property in future. Location is great 10 minutes to Whitby town downhill just remember it’s uphill coming back. Parking was great in a designated spot in a locked garage which gave me piece of mind loving my car as much as I do. There is work going on to the building and we found workmen in our private patio when we returned from a day out and was not happy hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. Bed was comfy and a good size. Small tv in the living room Kitchen well stocked.

Had a fantastic stay cannot fault the accommodation, clean tidy had all essentials. Only issue was hot water which was quickly addressed and was only due to just arriving. Ideal location with private outside area. Would highly recommend and stay again

Absolutely loved this place, so homely & cosy. After days out in Whitby , Scarborough etc couldn’t wait to get back to the apartment & chill!! Well equipped, clean & really comfortable. Probably one of my favourite Air B&B’s so far! We stayed with our two older children (14 & 10) and our 2 babies (20 months & 9 weeks) and there was plenty on room & as I said really well equipped too. Definitely recommend & will definitely return if we ever stay in Whitby again.. ☺️

Great location, fantastic apartment, would highly recommend. Have been visiting Whitby for more than 20 years and this is one of the best places I have stayed. Only one issue is to take care when entering the premises in your vehicle, and parking when inside the underground car park, as the allocated space is in a tight spot, and evidence of scrapes and bits out of the wall show the remains of previous mishaps. I wouldn’t want that to put you off this excellent venue just take care thats all.

We had a great week at Caedmon’s prospect. The apartment is a good size with good amenities within a 5/10 minute walk from Whitby town centre. There is also an indoor parking space. The cinder track starts around the corner and there is a lovely park (no dogs) opposite. The apartment was in excellent order and everything was clean and ready for our arrival.The hosts were excellent at responding to our requests and messages.

This flat ticked all the boxes for our stay in Whitby - was so clean, tidy and organised, and comfortable with plenty of privacy; additionally, the location of the flat was very convenient for exploring the wonderful local beach (about a 5-10 minute walk) and attractions and restaurants in the charming town of Whitby.
