The location is excellent—close to the city center in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. However, the property does not live up to its price point. It is worn out and lacks cleanliness. The carpets are stained and visibly dirty, and the bed sheets are old and of poor quality. Overall, the bedding was uncomfortable, and the general condition of the property was disappointing. We had previously stayed in another property just a few buildings away in the same area, which was significantly more luxurious and better maintained, all at a lower price. Naturally, we expected similar or better standards for what we paid here. Tried to explore solutions but reached none. Additionally, there were many requirements prior to check-in, which felt excessive. Although the check-in time was listed as 3 PM, we were only granted access after 3:30 PM. Communication with the host was also quite slow, which added to the frustration.

We were looking for a place close to downtown and this apartment met our expectations. It's a top location, we didn't use the bus at all - it's 20 minutes to the city center. The accommodation has privacy and quiet. The furniture is older, but we didn't mind at all, it was clean everywhere. We had a hard time getting in when we arrived because the door has 3 locks. The host was quick to respond to email and helped us out. Also, we heard an alarm beeping, the host fixed the issue in 1 day. Thanks again to your host for your caring attitude. Also thanks to this apartment we enjoyed the city per unit. :-)

Anna, Eddie, and Ivan were all great to deal with. The home accommodated our needs. We traveled with my elderly parents to watch my son graduate. Having a parking space an few stairs made the home perfect. Once we figured out the heat the weeks stay was great. Anna even helped us when we needed another day added to our stay. Great house great location.

Much bigger than the pictures and a very well equipped kitchen and living room. Signage could be a bit clearer, and was required to add a lot of extra information outside of Airbnb which was unexpected (eg ID and proof of address). A great spot to explore the city with my colleagues and would stay again

Lower level unit, but big windows with lots of natural light. The floor plan was great for 5 people of 3 generations. There are stairs at the front and back entrances , but my 88 yo mom made it by being really careful. Kitchen was fine and location was great.

Very good communication, easy to get in and locate. Perfect neighborhood to walk to local parks, restaurants, attractions as well as Edinburgh Castle. Great space for 6 people. Nice outdoor area. Parking space was tight and it was a bit chilly inside in the evenings as thermostat was pre-set to turn on only twice a day. The price is a bit high due to the area but very convenient. We (a family of five) stayed here over February half term. The apartment was lovely - spacious, spotless, well-heated and just as it appears in the photos. A comfortable living room and clean bathroom. With the bonus of a parking spot. It is walkable to a local beauty spot - Dean Village. And there are plenty of chain restaurants (Pizza Express, Zizzi) and supermarkets (Sainsbury’s Local), as well as independent restaurants and coffee places, within a few minutes walk. The bus stop outside takes you into Princes St or the Royal Mile in minutes. We would recommend the area we stayed - it seemed very safe and quiet.

Fabulous, spacious, flat with all of the amenities you could ever need. A few notes to help future travelers: if you arrive with a large rental car it may be difficult to park in the designated space behind the flat. If you are seeking a walk out level, this is a ground/basement level that requires taking stairs.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in Edinburgh and Siobhan’s apartment in West End. It’s a huge place and provides everything you need. Easy check-in. All sights in walking distance or just a short bus ride away. We’ll definitely book it again for our next visit.

I loved my stay here. Siobhan was a brilliant host and was always on hand for anything I needed. I My questions were always answered very quickly and courteously. The location is fantastic and extremely central which meant evening walks to see the lit up castle were always a nice way to wind down. As much as the location is central, it was really quiet in the Air BnB which was lovely. The apartment is extremely spacious and has a very homely feel to it. Would definitely consider coming back here for future trips to Edinburgh.

Loved the apartment —VERY spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Great location. As we were celebrating one daughter’s graduation from University and the engagement of our other daughter, a bottle of champagne was provided to us by the host! Totally enjoyed our stay 😎

Charming and cozy apartment in the West End, close to lots of shops, restaurants, and bars! The apartment had everything we needed - towels, plenty of dishes, etc. An extra nice touch was the clothes washer - we used that a ton! The host was super responsive and helpful. Right off the bat, they offered local suggestions tailored to our group which was so helpful. I also asked them for tour suggestions and their recommendation was right on!

Nice basement apartment very close to Princes Street and the West End. Everything you would need for a short stay. Local amenities very close by and lots of tips from the staff, who were very helpful and flexible with at check in. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Stayed as 3 couples and plenty of space and a bathroom each!!

This was a fabulous place for 6 adults to stay and experience Edinburgh. Pros: Large rooms with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen met all of our needs. Parking was easy. Walking distance to everything (food, shopping, historic sites) but on a very quiet street. Showers had good water pressure and remained hot even with 4-6 showers in the morning. It even had a washer and dryer. Overall a fantastic stay. Cons: This place was great. If we had to nit pick, we wish there had been enough couch seating for 6 adults (4 could fit comfortably but the other 2 adults had dining rooms chairs). That being said, they were all in the same room so it wasn't much of a problem.

(Loose of money) Unfortunatelly, nobody was there when arriving, Anna wasn't there and we couldn't find the key. We spent 4 hours in front of the door, in the cold weather, we tried to call Anna several time but her phone was off. And we sent her an email and sms through Airbnb but no reply. Than we went to look for an other hotel to sleep the night and hide from the cold. We paid douple price due to late booking. We loost the money, and we are heading back home with very bad experiance.
