This spacious apartment can host up to a maximum of 8 adults across four generously sized bedrooms, and up to 2 children on roll-out beds. The apartment is featuring elegant high ceilings and modern conveniences, while it is just minutes away from museums, attractions, restaurants, and bars.
The space
The apartment's well-appointed lounge offers a welcoming space for relaxing and socialising. Adjacent to the lounge, the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area make home-cooked meals and entertaining effortless.
Guests at The Gait @ Hill Square Suites can enjoy exclusive on-site amenities just a stone's throw from the property. Start your day with a delicious breakfast, indulge in a tasty lunch, or relax with bar services available throughout the day. For a duvet day, room service is also available. Additionally, guests can stay active at the on-site gym.
The Gait is the perfect base for a corporate group, as guests can make use of the hotel's facilities as well as the spacious self catered home.

Did you know.... The name of our apartment is based on a horsey theme as the Playfair Building (the college’s flagship building) was built on the site of a former riding stables.
Booking Requirements -
One member of the booking party must be over 25 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as proof of address and ID of the lead guest. This is required within 2 days of booking.
We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.
Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital trust platform that enables Hosts, Operators and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rentals space.
Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself and process a £500 deposit or £35 damage waiver. The damage deposit payment will incur a £10 fee. This superhog verification must be completed two weeks prior to check-in.

Set over the ground floor and lower ground level, The Gait @ Hill Square Suites offers four bedrooms, each featuring a luxurious super king-sized bed that can be tailored to suit your preference as a double or twin arrangement.
Please note that this apartment is only suitable for 8 adults. The roll out beds are only suitable for children

Situated in Edinburgh's city centre, (The Historic Old Town) The Gait @ Hill Square Suites provides a peaceful retreat whilst being just a short distance from major tourist attractions and the vibrant city centre. Nearby local shops offer convenient access to essential amenities. Further, Edinburgh Fringe Festival's central Underbelly locations George Square and Bristo Square are a 5 minute walk from the property. For corporate guests, business locations such as the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and many office spaces are a 25 minute walk through Edinburgh's leafy Meadows area, or a quick taxi drive away. The Gait is also the perfect location for Edinburgh University, Napier University, Edinburgh College of Art, and Herriot Watt University, for parents visiting their adult children, attending graduations, and helping with the move. There are 4 steps up to the front door from the street level. Once in the property, there are steep stairs down to the lower ground floor level, where 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and both of the full bathrooms, are situated. This property is not suitable for those with limited mobility.Other things to note

Please note standard check-in is between 3:30pm and 10pm.
Check-in outside this time can be arranged subject to availability.
IMPORTANT - What We Still Need From You:
In order to complete your booking, we still need certain information from you
You will receive an email from help@theedinburghaddress asking for:
- Proof of ID and Address for the lead guest
- Reason for your stay with us
- Review and Agree to our terms and conditions (See T&C's at the bottom of the Guest Area)
- Party Details (names & ages of all guests)
NOTE We must receive this within 48 hours of your booking being made.
-Damage Deposit-
- Before your arrival, you will receive an email to notify you that your £500 damage deposit is due to Superhog.
This is due to be paid 14 days before your arrival and will be refunded back to you within 14 days of your departure from the property, pending no damage or unpaid fees.
By booking accommodation through The Edinburgh Address Ltd you are confirming that you, as the person responsible for the booking, are of 25 years of age or older.
We reserve the right to vet all guests. By vetting we mean obtaining information about each guest who will stay in the property such as name, age, copies of passports, address and any other reasonable information.
We reserve the absolute right to cancel the booking at any time should any information come to light in the vetting indicating that, in our opinion, any guest will not be a suitable guest for the accommodation. Should we cancel the booking pursuant to this section, you will be refunded the full cost of the booking, less the non-refundable deposit unless otherwise agreed by us.
