Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. Located 7 klm from beautiful broulee beach and 9 klm from Tomakin. Just a 5 minute drive down the road is the historic township of mogo. Located centrally between moruya and batemans bay. Tomakin club has a courtesy bus if you want to go out for a meal and a drink, broulee brewhouse is also a very popular venue. Mogo zoo is 5 minutes down the road. The swimming pool is shared with owner and is available to use from 10am to 8pm with bbq facilities.

The space

Bimbimbie retreat is a private home set on 5 acres. The home has adjoining accommodation, think granny flat/ studio which is fully self contained. Owner resides on the property and I do have 4 dogs that have their own fenced yard and are not just freely roaming as there are many native animals that visit the property.
To get to the property you do have to drive on 0.3 klm of unsealed road. There is ample parking at the front of the house.
The property is very close to the new mountain bike trails and also historical mogo and broulee beach. It is also central to Batemans bay and Moruya (10 to 15 minute drive.
The swimming pool is available for use from 10 am to 8 pm and is heated from September until March/ April depending on the daytime temperatures. BBQ facilities and ample deck chairs, hammock, table and chairs etc available.
All bed linen is supplied and towels but please bring your own beach towels.

The unit can be rented out as one bedroom for just a couple or two bedroom as second bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a single bed.
Pets are allowed but are not to be left unattended at any stage of your stay. There are boarding kennels very close by if you want to go out without your pet. Dogs must be kept on a lead due to all the wildlife I have on the property. There is an additional charge for pets of $60 per pet

Guest access

The self contained unit is right where you pull up in driveway. There is a lock box for key and if you need anything I reside on the same property and am available.

Other things to note

All linen is provided and a towel per guest is also provided. Towels are not to be used at the swimming pool due to chlorine. If towels are damaged by pool or taking them to the beach there is a $40 charge per towel to replace.

Pets are welcome there is an additional charge of $60 per pet per stay. There is a fully fenced yard for your pet but dogs are not to be left unattended at any point in time. If you go out your pet is to go out with you. If any damages are caused by pets you are liable for the cost to repair damage. Dogs are not allowed on the lounge or the beds. If dogs go on lounge or bed there will be an additional $120 cleaning fee for dog hair removal.

The host was so kind! There was also a variety of cereals, coffee and tea, and they also provided milk! The surrounding environment was really spacious and private. You can see a lot of stars at night, and the pool with you was reasonably deep, so it was a great place to swim.

Belinda is an amazing host. The place is very thoughtfully designed and very easy to feel right at home. Belinda was very pleasant to talk to and she was very generous and considerate of our living arrangements throughout our stay. We wish her all the best and hope to go for another visit soon.

Belinda was really friendly. The accommodations was fine for an overnight stay but was in need of a little updating & tlc .. and maybe some some basic provisions would be nice after a long journey.. there is nowhere nearby to stock up on milk, juice etc!

The pool area is a shared area as hosts reside on the property in main house. Children are not to be left unattended in the pool area at any time. They must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No group bookings at all unless pre approved via message. If a group arrives to book in and it has not been pre approved the booking will be cancelled and you will be asked to leave and no refund given. Ages of all guests to be given at time of booking. No schoolies. No parties at all. My daughter and I live very quiet lives and I will not tolerate drunk parties. If you breach the rules it will be instant removal from property and no refund given.
