This flat was absolutely beautiful. The location directly on the beach was perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Melanie was an excellent host with very easy communication. We will definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend staying here. Everything you need - comfort, tranquility, views, location. It very well looked after. Melanie was very responsive and welcoming - understood our every need somehow :) We stayed with visiting family members for a funeral - all who flew in - every guest loved it (from teenager to adult). Enough space and warm feel. Definitely will book this again and recommend!

This was without a doubt the best air bnb experience I’ve had and the stay was worth every penny - absolutely beautiful home with breathtaking views!!! The beach which is just a few steps away is perfect for little ones and just all round amazing - can’t wait to be back!

This was one of the best places we have stayed at when it comes to beachfront apartments. It was right on the beach, clean, easily accessible, loads of things around to do, and such an AMAZING view! Melanie was an absolutely fantastic host. She responded to all my messages despite being on holiday. She is super professional and always willing to help. She looks after her guests and she made sure that we enjoyed our stay thorougly at Skiathos! Mpume helped to clean the apartment and what a gem! Always smiling, positive, and did an amazing job! We would definitely recommend this place to others and won't think twice when considering this place again for a nice relaxing beach holiday with family! Thanks Melanie. We could not have asked for a better holiday!

Everything in this apartment is well thought out to provide the best experience. The living area is comfortable & includes everything you will need to feel at home. Fast wifi, smart tv, bar area with indoor and outdoor dining options. You will find yourself spending most of your time on the large balcony overlooking the ocean. Rooms and bathrooms are top notch. Enough space, clean and comfortable linen. If I were forced to list some downsides; there are 3 flights of stairs to the front door. But that’s quickly forgotten when you are inside. It’s a bit of walk to the beach - but still direct access! Everything you may need can be found in the area. Food, groceries etc. Overall, we will definitely come back for another stay! 4.9 out of 5

Home away from home The penthouse is spectacular - second only to the sea views. Melani pays attention to detail in her home that is well appointed and lacks for nothing. We will defiantly be back again - with hesitation.

I would highly recommend this as an unbelievable place to stay. Apartment is amazingly comfortable and well appointed - you literally just need to take yourselves - everything else is there for you. It's luxury away from home!!The view is incredible and the welcome gift was a real spoil. We will definitely be back

Melanie is an excellent host who made our stay 5-star. From sending us a complete list of restaurants and activities to do to surprising us with welcome gifts. The penthouse is luxurious and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils you will need. The views are amazing and we spent most of our time on the veranda. We saw dolphins every day of our 15 day stay. The listing of the penthouse does not do it justice. It is far better!!!

Melanie is a spectacular host. She is amazing and does everything she can to make your stay unbelievable. This property is stunning! Everything about it, from the views, to the furniture to the fully stocked kitchen, everything is always so convenient. I mean there were even labels in the kitchen to tell you what’s in each cupboard! The appliances are fantastic. The bathrooms are great! Everything was so clean and fresh. Melanie thrives in the small touches which makes you feel so special and welcomed ( Will not share to ruin the surprise) This has been my best Air B&B experience to date, and I cannot get over the beauty of this home Aswell as the warmth that Melanie showcased to us. Even when it came to things to do in Balito, she willingly gave us comprehensive options which we visited and were not disappointed. Don’t hesitate to book this home! It’s a fantastic getaway and with Melanie as your host, you are in great hands!

We had such a great visit. The location is perfect - right on the beach, and perfect beach location for little kids (rock pools) and for adults (sandy entrance into the water for swimming). 8 minutes to Ballito Lifestyle Center for food/shopping/restaurants. Place was perfectly represented by pictures and reviews. We'll be back!

Our stay was wonderful! Melanie's place absolutely delivered on all things promised. It was clean, modern, wifi and tv was working and the view was out of this world. The location is great - close to Salt Rock main beach but also close to proper shopping centres like Ballito Junction etc. It was definite value for money! Melanie's eye for detail and personal touch in the apartment was evident. Be sure to visit Salt Cafe and Pangeli Poke Bar when staying over at Melanie's place. Thank you Melanie, we will definitely be back in the future and our friends and family are now also fully aware of how spectacular our stay was.

We landed in Durban on the day the riots in KZN began. What could have been a terrible week for us, was made wonderful by our helpful host Melanie and also, our immaculate accommodation in her beautiful penthouse apartment. Whilst it was a very difficult time to be in KwaZulu-Natal, Melanie went out of her way to assist us with finding food and other necessary items. She even allowed us to use the products in her personal cupboard! We had the most memorable stay, the apartment is beautiful, we could not have asked for more. The views are spectacular. Wifi fantastic. I cannot compliment Melanie enough. We had a adventure we will never forget. Thanks so much.🥰

Had a fantastic stay recently at Melanie’s penthouse beach side apartment. From booking to departure Melanie is a fantastic gracious host who is always willing to go above and beyond to see to your needs and comfort as a guest. from the amazing welcome gift she had left us I assure every small detail has been thought out. The smooth check in and check out process in place makes it’s such a pleasure . Do yourself a favor and book a relaxing get away to this beauty beachside apartment with breathtaking views, you won’t be disappointed.
