I love staying in the Dorsoduro district out of the main tourist track and this flat was a great find in an incredible location overlooking the Peggy Guggenheim estate courtyard. Was easy to take a water taxi to meet the host at Campo San Vio for check in and she was very helpful in getting us settled. Great setup, has everything you need and was very clean. Everything worked great and the location was quiet, even though the local favorite corner bar is just around the corner. This is the top floor unit and there are two flights of steps up, so travel light. Venice is not the place for a lot of luggage anyway! Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We have a lovely stay in a very well located and clean apartment. If you want to escape the hordes tourist around Saint Mark's then this is the place for you. It is close to shops, restaurants and vaporretos.

We stayed for the month of June and found the Mansard Magritte a very pleasant experience. The rooms are on the small side, but adequate. The apartment is up two flights of stairs that were easily handled by us two seniors. The loft became the domain of our adult son, who was however less than happy with the comfort of the fold-out bed there. One of the three air conditioners was not working upon our arrival, but was immediately fixed.. The kitchen was reasonably well supplied (though cooking utensils were stored in a drawer within a drawer that we didn't stumble upon for the first week). Those planning on regular cooking should be aware that the shopping in the immediate area is quite limited; we had to go to the far end of the Zattere for a good supermarket and further for a butcher and fish seller. The view into the Guggenheim gardens was delightful, the neighborhood charming and peaceful, and the closeness to Zattere with its cafes on the Giudecca Canal a great benefit.

Caroline E Marco were very quick to respond to our every request. They were there to satisfy our every need like raising the heat a bit when we felt cold. We truly felt that they were there and listening. The apartment was lovely, convenient and comfortable. The location is, in my opinion, one of the best in Venice. This comes from someone who has been to Venice at least 25 times. Taking everything into consideration, we would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Venice.

We spent 6 wonderful days in Venice with our 2 children (9 and 12 years old). The apartment is comfortable and the heating works well. It is perfect for 4 people. The apartment is well located both in the center and in a quiet area. We were able to walk to the whole city. We love the small bar next door, ideal for coffee before leaving and have an aperitif at the end of the day. The view of the gardens of the Guggenheim Museum is lovely. In short, it was a successful stay.

What a great find, Carol and Marco are great hosts and we couldn’t have asked for more. They were responsive from the moment we booked with helpful tips and support including arranging transport to and from the airport. We stay at AirBnb often and this has been by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. If anything the house description and images do not do it justice. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Host coordinated our taxi to and from the airport, greeted us at the dock, and welcomed us into the apartment. The Dorsoduro neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and a breath of fresh air walking back from more busy areas like San Marco and the train station. The location was walkable to the train station and we were able to make it there multiple times for day trips to Verona, Treviso, Bologna, and Florence. We also had access to the ACTV waterbus on the Zattere and ventured to Lido a couple of times. Easy walk to Giudecca canal for spectacular views and dinner. Accessible Traghetto for 2 euro quick ride to San Marco on the grand canal.

His apartment has a great location next to the boat stop of the academy. It was very clean and well-equipped. We were 5 adults but it could also be used for 6, although it only has one bathroom. It is close to restaurants and supermarket.

We had an exceptional time in Venice. The apartment was well equipped and in an ideal neighborhood--plenty of room for the five of us and having air conditioning was such a luxury during the summer heat! The apartment was absolutely lovely. In particular, we appreciated Marco greeting us and reviewing all procedures in the home. This is a brilliant apartment in a really great location, so near to everything! Ideally suited to 4 people but there is a sofa bed in the loft upstairs which could be used also for an extra person or child. Bright, clean apartment with lovely white sheets. Plenty towels for the group and has a little kitchen so really suited for a family as has a fridge, cooker etc. Very easy to check in and out, thanks to the hosts they made this so easy for us and we appreciated that. Would come back here, loved the area and some lovely restaurants nearby.

Very large apartment beautifully located on the Dorsoduro, with a unique view of the garden of the Guggenheim Museum and the Santa Maria de la Salute. We had a lovely stay in peace and quiet: it's very quiet! This is the first quality of the apartment. There would be small things to adjust to make everything perfect: the drain of the water from the shower which is unfortunately clogged, adding lights especially to the bathroom above the mirror, and in the kitchen which is very dark, having only the light of the ventilation hood... The dishes are very basic and we also had to buy a dish that can go in the oven, because there wasn't any. Light bulbs are burned out and also to be replaced. Please note that there is always a smell of sewage in the apartment, and that it takes a lot to ventilate and ventilate... Apart from that, everything was very good and very comfortable, especially the good bedding in the 2 bedrooms and the bath linen which is very beautiful (embroidered with the lion of San Marco...) and above all very clean and of good quality. Finally, we really appreciated the punctual welcome at the appointment set for check-in, and the possibility of being able to leave our suitcases in the apartment on the last day. THANK YOU for everything and definitely see you next time, as the apartment is really perfect for an ideal stay in Venice! We thank you for meeting all of our expectations and requests beforehand. A nice apartment in a quiet but central location. It overlooks the Guggenheim garden. The beds were comfortable and the double room was especially pretty. It was a good base from which to explore with a couple of good breakfast places nearby.

Good stay, with fast communication and good hosting. The photos are accurate: cleanliness, complete equipment and nice linen. Small downside with sewage odors in the evening and in the morning, airing it passes. Street in a good location and very quiet.

Great location, great apartment, great hosts. Just book it and be done with it. This location is nice because it is a short walk from the Disneyland like tourism of St Marks and such. You are in a real neighborhood, but close to everything. The bar around the corner is great and affordable with outside seating…popular with locals and friendly for tourists. We went every day. The apartment is great with two nice bedrooms and a large loft that works as a third bedroom. AC worked great which is key because Venice has mosquitos at night…keep those windows closed. Nice glimpse of Gardens out the window. Caroline was a wonderful host and took time to sit down with us and give some suggestions. Venice is all about being out and about, so unless you find a place with a crazy nice yard, or scenic balcony, I would call it good and go enjoy this place. We are in great shape so we just walked our family of five with our 9 year old from the train station.

This appartment is a great place to visit Venice. Perfectly located it provides lots of space for 4 people and everything that you would like to see in the city is in walking distance. Great restaurants and bars to dine and hang out in the evenings are close, the Peggy Giggenheim garden is just next door, and a great 2 EUR Gondola taxi service to San Marco is 200 m away. The airco in the appartment lets you sleep well during the night, also when temperatures are getting a bit warm during the summer period. Caroline gave us good recommendations to explore, a great host! Our recommendation around the corner: Ristorante Cantinone Storico.

very comfortable spacious appartment with magnificent garden view towards Guggenheim Museum and St Maria de la Salute church. Calm place and excellent location for restaurants and getting to the interesting places at the same time. We enjoyed our stay very much and intend to come back. Caroline and Marco organized everything perfectly, met us at the vaporetto station and guided us personally to the apartment. They have been very accommodating regarding check in - and - out times. The mattresses are very good. The stairs are a little (!) bit steep , so may be not he best choice for people with walking disabilities.

This space is beautiful and comfortable, and the owners are very professional. The communication before and during our stay made it very easy for us to know what to do and focus on enjoying the trip. It’s a wonderful location as well; close to the accademia stop and an easy walk to numerous shops and restaurants. The walk to San Marco was pretty easy too. Highly recommended!

Wow! What a great apartment for visiting Venice. We traveled with our 2 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. The views from the windows to the Guggenheim and beyond, were mesmerizing. We definitely feel lucky to have stayed here. The location was awesome, a short walk to all of the major attractions, but outside of the main tourist areas. The Dorsoduro area was fun to walk around and explore. It felt more authentic and local. Definitely listen to the advice of Sophie (who checked us in) for restaurants. We went to 2 that she recommended, and they were both top notch.

The flat was had a very nice view and was spacious and well-located. We loved the area of Dorsoduro and how close we were to the main sites of Venice without being in the busiest parts of the city. We were a little disappointed with the agency in charge of the airbnb rental, however, and although the space was fairly clean, it was not as spotless as we would have expected after reading the reviews on airbnb, and from the price. All in all, the flat was pleasant, but having been to Venice a number of times before and having stayed in various airbnbs in the city, we felt that it was not value for money.

When we arrived, our host greeted us at the boat spot and walked us to the apartment — she walked us through the apartment AND a map of Venice with excellent recommendations for restaurants, gelato, museums, playgrounds, etc. The location is wonderful!! There is some traffic from the Guggenheim museum during the day but the evenings are quiet and magical in this pocket!! This is the PERFECT location if you want to experience the ‘real’ Venice without rubbing shoulders with millions of tourists. Last but not least, the apartment is sparkling clean and adequately stocked. There is A/C in the bedrooms and windows on three sides so you can draw air through it. Excellent location and lovely apartment!

Ea is a cozy, quiet and very nicely equipped apartment where you can really relax after long walks through this beautiful city. Our children felt really comfortable that it was not so easy to get them to another tour in the morning! Already at check-in it was clear that the photos of the apartment were not exaggerated: beautiful bedrooms (both!), fantastic beds (also not self-evident), a cozy living room, a very well equipped kitchen (even wine glasses, are rare to be found) and a really cool attic to be able to retreat with an exciting book. We were absolutely thrilled and definitely want to come back!

Special thanks to Bruno who checked us in and provided so much information of Venice/the apartment and booked us into a restaurant as we got in around 7/8pm. Only negative is the shower pressure isn't very good but that's just being picky!

Fantastic location overlooking Guggenheim gardens. Very hand deli a few doors down and a bar, open early to late, selling delicious sandwiches and pastries. Very spacious apartment. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Great to have the air conditioning to cool down from the heat outside. Easy to communicate with hosts who resolved some issues that arose. JG

We where met at the Vaporetto stop and guided easily to the flat. Caroline and Marco's apartment is very beautifull, we enjoyed the space and incoming light and the good view to the garden of Guggenheim. It is extremely well situated, easy to go to any location around Venice, just walking or embarking the 3 vaparetto stations within 5 min walk. Taxi from Campo c. Vio to the Marco Polo Airport took approximately 25 min. in the morning. Mostly we enjoyed the good feel of coming home to the cool flat after a long days activities.

We stayed in this apartment for a week during the Venice Biennale. I definitely recommend it, clean, luminous and spacious just like in the photos. Supermarkets, shops and main touristic sightseeing at walking distance.

Our stay in Venice and in the house has been great, the accommodation is a true reflection of the photos and everything is very new and well cared for. The most notable thing is its excellent location, just 5 minutes from the "Accademia" steamboat in the Dorsoduro neighborhood, quiet and special. And next to the San Marco neighborhood, with more hustle and bustle of people. Walking from the house to St. Mark's Square, it's a very nice walk about 20 minutes. Upon our arrival at the house Sophie, she took care of us, charming, and showed us places to visit and restaurants and concert sites. We recommend the place without a doubt. We will be back!!!

The apartment is perfectly positioned for Peggy Guggenheim and accademia with great restaurants and a wonderful corner bar on the canal just in your doorstep. We spend a wonderful two weeks organising and then celebrating our wedding and the apartment was spacious and had a lovely view of the plague building and the garden of the Guggenheim. The facilities were excellent and Bruno and Marco were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Returning for our first anniversary next year.

Truly beautiful. It's magical to look out ofvyour windows and not only view the Peggy Guggenheim Gardens but beyond you see Santa Maria della Salute through the cypress trees. It's like a scene out of a movie. And the apartment is SO quiet but very safe and surrounded by beautiful shops and galleries. It's also close to taverns and now some of our favorite new restaurants. Check out Il Cantinone Storico almost around the corner from the apartment. We went a couple of times. What's good to know is that there is a full service supermarket not far away plus you're very near to the Accademia Bridge and the Santa Maria della Salute vaporetto stops. The apartment looks just like its pictures only better. So much space and light and the decor is very beautiful. The kitchen is easy to work, clean and we used it a lot, especially for breakfasts. Upstairs is a great and large loft area, perfect for getting away from others to read a book or write with tons of light. I already miss the church bells tolling gently in the background.

Brand new appartement, very clean, very well furnished, luminous, large, quiet. Perfect for a family of 4 people ! The location is great in the Dorsoduro with an awesome view on the garden of the Guggenheim museum. The apartment ( 2nd floor) is in a quiet street near shops and restaurants and the Zattere which is very convenient. It is managed by a company which ensure professionalism. Someone waited for us at the meeting point and came with us to the apartment for check in and explanation about the apartment. If you come after 20:00 be aware that you will have to pay additional amount for late check in but it has been mentioned during communication before the trip. I would highly recommend this apartment and come back there.
