The space
INSIDEOpen concept featuring reclaimed barn wood beams, thick stone walls, and an airy interior with a full wall of windows that makes the most of the phenomenal views, the Bedrock Beach House inspires a deep sense of peace and happiness. The open kitchen is clean and bright with everything you need to prepare meals in. Fridge, Stove, Microwave, dishwasher etc. Seating for 4 at the dining table plus an additional 3 seats at the island.where you can chat with the chef and enjoy a meal together, all the while looking at the lake.
Living Area has gas fireplace with sweeping views of the the lake. SmartTV so you can login to your own Netflix or enjoy cable we have provided. You can also plug your device in. There is great WIFI. Even on a rainy day it’s so cool to watch a movie and the storm!

OUTSIDE
When you first step out of your vehicle, you'll notice the glorious gardens planted with native grasses and pollinator flowers leading a path to the front door. The side garden is loaded with fresh herbs that can be used in your cooking!
The patio offers ample place to sit and relax as you watch the seagulls fly by or enjoy the sunset. Share your family favorites outside with dining for 6. You can play soccer with friends, take a nap in the hammock or tell ghost stories by the fire at night. You can even sit in the gazebo early in the morning and have a cup of coffee as you listen to the calming waves and birdsong. As night falls, soft lighting illuminates your path down to the gazebo and the beach.
Once down at the beach, you can sit on the chairs and relax, go for a swim, or even have a bonfire! The beach itself can change from day to day. The wave action can turn rocks into a lovely sandy beach in a matter of hours.
NOTE: Approx 60 stairs down your private access to the beach. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

💸 Save on Cleaning Fees 💸We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 4, violation will result in removal without refund. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance)

Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:
❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two.
❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.

We loved our stay at this cottage. There were gorgeous views of lake huron sunsets, stargazing, and pristine beach. We especially enjoyed the lake views in the gazebo, around the campfire, and in the hot tub. The cottage itself was comfortable, cozy, and clean, with a lovely gas fireplace. Cottage is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and it is a short drive to Bayfield, food stores, and a local craft brewery. Jennifer was a great host who communicated with us often. She made our stay with a 8 month old as easy as possible by providing a pack n play crib and high chair. Cottage is family friendly! We would visit again.

We celebrated our honeymoon here! The views are incredible. Nothing beats Lake Huron sunsets! This house has everything you would need, fully stocked kitchen, all the things you would hope for to relax outside. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax. The walk down to the beach was easy and more chairs and a fire pit were waiting! We loved all the non/toxic cleaning products. Bed was comfy. Truly enjoyed our stay!

This cozy cottage was full of charm and was true to the listing description. It has everything one would need to relax, make a meal, or keep busy with some games. We appreciated the thoughtful considerations Jennifer made upon checking in which made our arrival even sweeter. She was great at touching base to offer any help. We had an amazing view watching the sunset from the hot tub over the lake and enjoyed watching all the wildlife around. So much care and thought put into making this a nice place to stay that I could go on and on! Overall a great trip and cottage I’d highly recommend.
