The space
INSIDEEnter through the front door and you’ll be welcomed by comfy seating perfect for brainstorming sessions or cozy movie nights on the Smart TV. Two inviting gas fireplaces make it easy to snuggle up during colder weather, while the large dining table is ideal for big family dinners, card games, and lively board games. The spacious kitchen is open to both the dining and living areas, so you can stay part of every conversation while preparing your family’s favourite dishes.

The outdoor space features a grill with ample seating, a lake-view fire pit with cozy furniture perfect for enjoying the sunset, and a shaded gazebo offering beautiful lake views for a relaxing escape from the sun. And of course, there’s the sunset deck, the perfect spot to take in the most gorgeous Lake Huron sunsets.
Experience the luxury of our NEWLY ADDED HOT TUB — the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Let the warm, bubbling water melt away your stress as you soothe tired muscles, breathe in the fresh air, or soak under a blanket of stars. It’s your new favorite spot to relax and recharge.
NOTE: Approx. 80 stairs down to the beach. 2025 there was still beach. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
NOTE: Primary renter must be 25 yrs old and provide government issued photo id. A separate security deposit of $500 is required.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections) there are two cameras outside monitoring the parking area and entrance door.
Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:
❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two.
❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.

We had an amazing time at Jennifer’s place! The house was bigger than we anticipated which was an added bonus as our group was big - so everyone had their own little space without being too cramped. The lakeview was very nice and cool to see this time of year. We had some campfires and enjoyed the hot tub after being outside in the cold! Everything was clean and the home was very cozy. Would definitely recommend your stay here and will come back one day!

Jennifer’s place is absolutely lovely, quiet and with spectacular views. The hot tub while enjoying a snowfall was a highlight! It is cozy and warm with a great fireplace…lots of places to sleep and has a beautiful property. I would 100% recommend staying here! Jennifer was wonderful to communicate with and there were all sorts of unique touches…Christmas music playing upon entry, a mug from the local village - just fantastic! Thank you again Jennifer - we will be back! Amelia

The cottage wasn’t awful but also not great. It has great potential, just needs some sprucing up. A good paint job and just getting rid of the clutter of outdated furniture/art. The walls seemed quite dirty with smudges of stains, lots of chipped walls with old nail holes. The kitchen was unorganized with stuff scattered throughout drawers and cupboards. It’s got good bones and a great yard/access to beach. Beautiful view, nice hot tub (screen was broken so couldn’t see temperature, didn’t feel very hot). Such potential to be a beautiful rental. Not worth the fee because of the state of the inside. It was fairly clean but felt dirty because of the quality/out dated furniture. Host seemed nice however over communicated. For a 3 day, 2 night stay I received almost 10 emails, several leading up, then several the day of, then during, then after.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage. The location was perfect. There was lots of things to do locally. The private beach was our favourite part. It was clean and the water was gorgeous. The house had a perfect layout. There was enough room for seven people plus pets. We would definitely come back to this lovely cottage. I should also note that Jennifer was extremely responsive and so helpful to help us enjoy our stay.
