The unit is managed by Costarentals. Within just 24 hours, we found ants there. We had to disinfect everything, as they had cleaned with a rotten mop. The drain cover in the shower was a loose, sharp and dangerous piece of metal. There was a lack of cleanliness and some tiles were missing. The water heater didn't work – the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The dishwasher and the main fan didn't work either, and several lights were flickering. There aren't two bathrooms as advertised, but rather one WC with a toilet that has ingrained dirt and is in a very poor state… When they finally deigned to reply, their solution was to invite us to leave or to send over a handyman, who did what he could. He checked the water heater and the dishwasher, but he told us that they would probably stay the same, and that's how it was. He said that other tradespeople would have to come for the rest of the issues… It was five days with a baby, and if we hadn't had commitments and if we'd had the time, we would definitely have left. Airbnb had to step in. I hope they improve their service and that nobody else has to go through the same thing.

We were returning to the area after a month in El Palo. I thought we would try El Pedregalejo and Frank’s place met our needs. He sent excellent instructions for finding the apartment, so we got off the bus at Las Acacias and found our way straight in. here were some basic culinary items (salt pepper paprika etc) which meant we didn’t have to buy them when we stocked up at the nearby supermarket. The facilities were great, the kitchen was very nicely equipped and we felt very comfortable for the two weeks we spent there. It was minutes to the beach and to great restaurants, the bus in and out of town was close by and the market in el Palo was a short walk away. All in all the flat is very comfortable and in a nice situation. It is well managed and communication was really very easy. We are planning a longer trip next time.

The location is good, the surroundings are great. The only thing missing was air conditioning, because in the heat, the fans alone didn't cool it down well.

Thank you for an awesome stay! The location is great, 5 mins or less to walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars right along the water as well.

The apartment itself, it is very careless and old, the stained armchairs with God knows that, blinds that do not work, you could not lower the canopy due to lack of stick to lower it, the toilet was disgusting as it was, the oven was stained without anyone cleaning it, the coffee machine I think it had never been cleaned, in short, I was charged €139 cleaning, which has not been done

The apartment is in the top location, in a nice historic building, 5 minutes walk from the beach. We stayed only two nights in it, but overall it was a pleasant experience. The only problem we had was on our arrival during check-in, as the key lock with the keys to apartment was not in the place where it was supposed to be according to the instructions we have received before arrival. There was also no immediate help from the host on this matter, as we had the check-in on a weekend and nobody was answering our messages/calls (as, I guess, nobody was in the office). Since we were waiting in a car with a 6-month infant and did not know where the key is, it was a pretty stressful situation for us. In the end, it turned out that the key lock was attached in the incorrect place and somobody living in a building helped us to locate it.

Lovely stay, close by to the beach and only a short bus ride into Malaga. The apartment was clean and tidy and looked like the photos. Responsive host prior to check in.

In order from arrival to departure: 1. The keys were easy to locate but there are two buildings with the same apartment numbers. If I had been paying closer attention, I would've noticed that the address provided said "Street Name, 3" versus "Street Name, 2" but it also would've been nice if the host called it out in their initial instructions. I probably scared the tenant of apartment 1D to death because I was trying the wrong building. 2. The remote for the car park was locked inside the apartment so I had to go in the apartment, get the keys, and then park. Not a huge deal but there's no street parking and I had two little kids with me. 3. The apartment itself was clean, bright, well-ventilated, well-appointed in terms of kitchen utensils, etc. No A/C but fans were provided. 4. Street noise was pretty noticeable at night. We had sound machines so would recommend packing them! 5. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the location was amazing, and the place was spotless!

Had a short but nice stay in Pedregalejo ! The sufficiently large apartment is close to the promenade/beach and well equipped and offers enough space for 5-6 people
