We had a very nice stay at Frank's apartment. Despite changing weather, we were able to use the mostly covered hot tub even in the rain. In the kitchen there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is very spacious and the three terraces perfect in nice weather. we highly recommend staying with Frank.

Wonderful family apartment with all amenities, access to the beach, on-site spa in more than 3 terraces including one in the open air where the sun warmed us this winter from Spain. We also had several breakfasts there! The sea and mountain views are stunning! We suggest going by car as it is located high up, so not convenient to drive with suitcases. We highly recommend this apartment!

We spent one week at Frank's place with our 2-year-old daughter. The accommodation is located in a secure residence with caretaker, in a peaceful and quiet location. The residence is located on the heights, so the view is superb, but access to the city center is a little complicated on foot. The 2 bathrooms as well as the 3 terraces are a plus. Downside on the cleanliness of the accommodation on arrival (dust and hair). The baby amenities listed in the listing are actually an option for a charge.

Really nice apartment. We used the jacuzzi and all the three terraces. We walked down to the village twice a day with our two year old. If you’re facing mobility problems you van easy grab a cab. Pool was already closed since October unfortunately. We would definately like to return

We had an excellent holiday here. The place is absolutely like the pictures. It is set in a gated community which feels very safe and is peaceful. The pool was great and you could always find a spot. There are some chairs in the apartment you can take up with you. The Lidl is close but consider hiring a car if you are staying here because the hill from Lidl/town is steep. We managed it without a car for a week so it’s possible, but is hard work getting your shopping home! The town is lovely, small but plenty going on and lots of restaurants. The beach is superb as well and it is walkable from the apartment. Bbq is brilliant, the hot tub was great as well. Frank and the team gave detailed check in information and we’re on hand when we needed them. Would highly recommend this place and recommend Frank as a host if you are looking at his other properties

We were four friends who went on a golf trip. There were also very nice beaches and nice restaurants in the area. This was the second time we had stayed in this apartment and it was just as good this time.

I stayed here alone for business but the amount of space is perfect for a family! The place was immaculate, well stocked cupboards with utensils and crockery The walk towards La Cala would be difficult with someone who has walking aids etc as the hill is pretty steep but a taxi was only €5-6 to the centre.The only thing I struggled with was locating the key lock - the taxi dropped me outside the gate of the complex with my luggage and I was left to walk down the hill with it to locate the key which resulted in me calling the host several times to ask for help - he was very responsive and sent someone to help. My only suggestion would be to have the key a little closer to the complex but other than that the area was lovely, the hot tub was beautiful to relax in after a days work, the views were amazing of the mountains and the sea, the bed was comfortable and the space and facilities were perfect.I would stay here again and look forward to rebooking for my next visit! We were 4 adults in Frank's place. La Cala city is within walking distance - about 15 minutes - and is a very cozy town with many restaurants. Lidl is close by and the closest shopping mall. The space in the house was cramped as it was too cold to use the terraces, which were without sun as they are facing north. The roof terrace is with sun but very exposed, so we didn't use it. The spa on the lower terrace was lovely warm, so it was extensively used. We had trouble finding the lockbox, but were quickly sent more prominently about the surroundings so it was successful. Next, the “buzzer” for the gate didn't work and the air conditioning was defective. Frank made sure the issues were resolved. So all in all we had a great holiday.

The house is great. It's just how it looks in photos. The terraces are very good and with all kinds of furniture including the jacuzzi. Good location with an amazing view. Close to Lidl Bars and Supermarket The kitchen provides all kind of utensils. Everything was very clean. You can also play paddle. There is private surveillance. The residential complex is very quiet. The host immediately responds to any inquiries.

This apartment is fantastic in every way. There was sun all day up to 5 pm on the lower terraces ( you can have shade if you want ) . The roof terrace got sun until 7 pm . There is everything you need in the apartment . There is a lovely big freezer which was a benefit . The shutters on the doors kept the rooms dark and cool . The bbq was great and we used it with no difficulty . The hot tub was great, lots of different jets and beautifully warm . There is seating on each of the terraces . Waking up to the beautiful view of the mountains was spectacular. We found the hill to the complex no problem but the weather was in the low 2O’s. Having a supermarket close was great and lots and lots of restaurants and wine bars near was a benefit . Lots of high quality restaurants to choose from I would highly recommend a stay in this apartment .

Awesome experience at this apartment. Plenty of patios to spend time in and also comfortable living spaced inside. Place is better than what the pictures shows. I’d recommend having a car if you are here so you can drive around and explore the area. If you just want to relax there is restaurants and grocery stores within a 10-20 minute walking distance.

We had a really nice stay at Cala de Mijas. The location is great: 15 minutes from the beach on foot - Lidl 5 minutes by car - Malaga 30 minutes. The pool is perfect for swimming. The only downside: the apartment - well in itself - should be better equipped with dishes, the bedding renewed. Watch out for the butts that hang out on the terraces… Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and Franck was present to our requests.

Great location, local to supermarket. Main shops/bars etc... only a 15 or 20 minute walk which also quickly leads you to the beautiful beach

The jacuzzi was great and there were three terraces! It was sunny at the roof terrace quite long in the evening! The beds were extremely soft, and there were extra pillows and sheets. There were everything we needed in the kitchen. And the barbeque grill was good.

The place is in a great place and nice but... the pool wasn't open and we weren't informed! It didn't say this in the advert. We were continually told, when we emailed whilst there, that it is normal for 90% of pools to be closed. This is not true! I know this area, been visiting for 35 years and never had a pool closed at Easter. I also emailed 6 Air BnB hosts in the area of similar apartments whilst there of which 5 informed me the pool was open. Finally, by day 3 after many emails we had use of a pool in a different complex half a mile away. The patio door from the main bedroom doesn't lock when closed so can be easily opened from the outside. We informed them but nothing was done. The bbq had not been cleaned, remnants of food, and the gas bottle was empty. The outdoor jacuzzi is great fun, but it is quite grubby and my son got an ear infection. No basics on arrival, so we arrived after midnight on a Saturday and couldn't even have a cup of tea.. usually bread, milk, tea, coffee etc are left for you but here nothing. The air-con in the bedrooms don't work properly, no display on the controls either.

Great communication from Frank and Niki and the apartment was great. The apartment had some english sockets as well as a full choice of english TV channels. Hot Tub was great and apartment was clean and tidy with some welcome gifts in the fridge. As previously described by other guest the apartment is on a steep hill which is OK if you have a hire car, but could be difficult for older guests if on foot. The area is nice with a good choice of shops and bars. My only slight criticism and this is very minor is that the apartment could have had more than one towel per guest and the gate buzzer did not work every time, but these were not big issues. Overall a great place and great hosts and I would happily stay there again, thank you Frank and Niki.

The place is exactly as described. Fantastic views of the sea and the hills. Fantastic location and well worth a visit. It is at the top of a steep hill but its only about 6 euros to get a taxi back in the evening. If your visiting the beach you will need to take beach towels though as there were none available in the apartment

This is a fantastic home, we stayed for 11 nights with our 2 children at one of the hottest times, the air con in the bedrooms and the main living area was a godsend. The home has everything you need, even English sockets in the living area. The pool area is lovely and well maintained. The hot tub is gorgeous. The only negative thing is walking up the steep hill, which in August was very hard!! However a taxi up from the centre was only €5-€6. There are some lovely restaurants in the centre and you are so close to the beach as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

We can only agree with all the other reviews on this lovely place i.e: - Plenty of space in the apartment, as on the 2 balconies’ (and the roof top terrace) - The swimming pool was excellent (as was the jacuzzi) - Being aged mid 50's, we did regularly walk the hill but did try to avoid walking up in the afternoon due to the heat but do-able. - TV and wifi were good and met expectations - Chairs and loungers available for the beach / swimming pool including a trolley - Lovely quiet location - Certainly considering a return visit next year Many thanks.

The apartment was better than I expected. Really quitefull and clean and great views from every 3 balcony. Own jacuzzi in apartment was really good bonus, becouse temperature in the sea wasn't yet enough high for swimming. We had rental car with us and it was good idea if want to make day trips around the area. For car there was safe and good places to leave. Cooperation was great and everything went smoothly. I would definitely come again if I get change.

We had a beautiful stay and we were totally blown away by the terrace/villa when we arrived. The photos do not do justice to how lovely it really is. There were 3 bathrooms and 3 big terraces with seating/sun loungers. The bbq and jacuzzi were highlights. Also the uk tv and the good internet connection were bonus’. Lidl is a 5 minute walk down the hill, but don’t go at peak heat times as it was so tiring getting back up the steep hill with shopping (although I am 8 months pregnant). Once at the bottom of the hill there is a foot bridge that brings you to the beach/bars/restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A very quiet development without any noise, ideal for resting. Frank is a great host and anything you needed didn't make any. We broke the shower flexo and the next day they came to put on a new one. From our arrival to our departure everything was perfect, apartment as described on the listing and even better, the residence is very quiet as we wanted, beautiful guarded pool, tennis class and pabel, close to supermarket and restaurants, a large selection of beaches not far by car Otherwise Cala de Mijas on foot, Lidl on foot, ideal for family with children Frank was great from the welcome with a lot of explanations and discussion, available, reachable ( very important ) in addition he was kind enough to accept our late checkout request on the last day:) Thank you very much Frank At the time of departure we had the passage of ismail and super friendly niki that I also thank for their kindness. Super team We'll be happy to go back:)

Great hosts, lovely duplex apartment with airconditioning/heating & everything you need. A comfortable home from home, beautiful views from the terraces with a jacuzzi spa, gas BBQ & wifi, also has English TV if required... The pool area is very clean & tidy with the benefit of a lifeguard. The property is located in a quite area up a hill, fine for walking down to the town, restaurants & beach but the walk back not so enjoyable with young children.... Short taxi ride costing around €5 - €6. We had a couple of small issues that Frank & Sara sorted straight away, they were always available & happy to help with anything... All in all had a very good family holiday, would highly recommend Frank & Sara.

This is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy some sun and quiet relaxation. The rooms are clean and well looked after, there is plenty of space with three different terraces, and good bathrooms. The flat is kitted out with everything you’ll need including towels and bedding, and there are plenty of useful facilities including sun loungers and a hot tub. We got a nice welcome on arrival. The views are fantastic too! We enjoyed our stay very much.
