frank does not exist. everything was automated. finally spoke to a person who i had to track down the number and call because no one responded to my messages via airbnb place was not like photos in the listing there was damage inside the unit, broken exposed light bulb, powder laundry detergent left in the dryer, a considerable amount of noise coming from a construction site going up only 10ft away from outdoor space. it was full of dust and debris. could not open windows, could not use bbq. very little privacy. Very very steep hill to go up and down to get to the beach and shops, need a car does not include use of the resort amenities asked for a fair monetary resolution from “frank” and was immediately shut down within minutes. that was the fastest i have had a response from the host the entire week we stayed. not worth the money, never again Higuerón is a beautiful place to visit but be careful renting from costarentals a big misrepresentation

The accommodation is immediately next to an ongoing building site within 10 metres of the property. As a consequence there is excessive dust produced by the works rendering the outside space unusable. Any guest with Asthma or an other respiratory issues will be at risk here. One of our party with a respiratory issue returned home on day 3 as the dust was exacerbating his breathing problems. The noise is from the building site starts at 8.00 am and finishes around 6.00pm. There is no privacy on the outside space or as the workmen working at the site have clear views of the property outside area. There was no use of the pool though this advertised. Staff informed us on arrival that it is not in use until June. The smoke alarm battery ran out so we had no smoke alarm for the last 7 days of our stay; a major health and safety issue. We had no contact with the host throughout our 10 day stay just automated emails and wondered if Frank actually exists? A gross case of misrepresentation.

Great place to enjoy a few days sun ! the communication was excellent, we would highly recommend. beautiful apartment, in a good neighbourhood. the views are amazing, the apartment has everything you could need a real home from home ... we also recommend downloading uber app to get you back up the hill to the apartment, as it's a steep incline and not for the unfit or elderly. the beaches nearby are lovely, especially the bar chiringuito la cubana on playa de carvajal. the train to Fuengirola is just at the bottom of the hill, however we liked this end of town much better, more authentic and less hustle, more class. there's lots of beautiful new apartments & hotels going up in the area and it will definitely be one up & coming resort.

We were very pleased. The place looked like the photos. Great view from the terrace right on the ocean Very proactive communication. The only downside was the weather. But of course no one can do anything for it. ;) All the more beautiful, of course, if you have chosen such a great place to stay.

Fantastic apartment with amazing sea views. It's really like the pictures, modern, and equipped with everything. The cleanliness in the apartment and the whole house is impeccable. Thank you so much for everything, we have become richer with unforgettable experiences. Highly recommend !
