I was Grateful at 1st because our original space was cancelled 2 days before our trip. Surely he could have got our 9 month old granddaughter a cot. We organised one from 1500 miles away. The small bedroom had no wardrobe or Aircon and was like a prison cell. The tv signal never worked once while we were there. The noise from the hotel next door was dreadful. Our bedding was urine stained and a pillow had what looked like blood on it. A totally awful stay.

Great location and straightforward - just nothing extra. Things like washing up liquid and bin bags for more than a day aren’t provided which is a bit awkward for a short stay. Otherwise clean and comfortable for 2-3 people.

A beautiful apartment with fantastic air conditioning almost throughout. Lovely pool very quiet often to ourselves. Fantastic area we were 3 mins walk from the beach and a beautiful strip full of restaurants supermarkets etc. Great service and prices everywhere and very family friendly. It was so quiet where we were yet everything was on our doorstep 750 metres to the train and a fantastic reliable taxi service to the door in minutes anytime we called. The balcony was small but had a lovely little table and chairs and space to dry clothes which was all we needed. The balcony and pool were out of the sunshine from 4pm which allowed a great break from the intense sun. We ended each afternoon cooling off in the pool before heading down the strip for beautiful food. There was no air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom but a pull out bed in the sitting room made it a workable bedroom. Great service from the host who we contacted on numerous occasions with questions. I would highly recommend.

Very good location 300m from the beach and restaurants. Bus stop in front of the apartment, less than 500m from the train station. The pool area is a little old but functional and clean. The TV shows Netflix and a few other apps, not local TV channels. Overall, a great place to stay near the beach and communication with Frank is quick and smooth.

Fantastic place, modernly equipped apartament. Very close to the beach (2min walk) and nice swimming pool on the same floor (quite old but still does the job). Inside apartment you have everything what you need to feel comfortable. Great view from the balcony on the sea but because of the big hotel on the right side, you can hear some music at night and watch and be watched by the people from the hotel. All activities at the hotel ends about 11 pm and they are not loud so do not bother little children to sleep. A two air conditioners provide comfort at night and during the day. Main street is right before sea and it's a full of restaurant and places where you can spend some money ;) Very close to two shops where you can buy every day fresh food and what ever you needed. Prices at restaurants and shops are resonable. Because the place is not in the center of Fuengirola you can always find place at the beach and sunbed at swimming pool. Only one problem is the distance to the port (center of Fuengirola) and it's about 45 min walking - but really you don't need to walk there! But because of that, if you planned some water activities like rent a jet ski or sail the boat to see dolphins they are available at the port only so you'll need to walk there or call for taxi (costs 6-7 Euro) if you don't like walking :) If you have plan to visit Malaga and places like museum or caves you should thing about renting a car. Host is very friendly and helpful, so if you not sure about something or you need extra info - just ask host. I'll highly recommended this place!

Apartment was spotless and was very well equipped with large TV and fast WIFI.Location excellent and only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Great value for money and we are looking forward to our next visit to this lovely apartment.

Pros: A fabulously decorated apartment with very comfy beds 🙂. All the appliances are top range. The location is perfect 2 minutes to the beach and 3 minutes to some local restaurants and bars. It's about a 45 minute walk into Central Fuengerola or a quick bus ride or taxi (€8). We found this perfect as we could spend a night in the busyness of Fuengerola and then come back to our peaceful area. it's a 5 minute walk the other direction into Carvajal which had some fabulous restaurants with Mia's being my favorite (booking needed). The balcony doesn't get the sun except for 1 hour in the afternoon which I was initially disappointed about but it was actually a welcome reprieve from the heat. I enjoyed the shade Staff were quick to respond to issues drain in shower clogged they had someone out that evening to fix the issue. Clothes Horse was badly rusted they had a new one delivered that evening. Apartment has Netflix, Prime etc if you fancy an hour to unwind in front of the TV. Very secure, keys needs to get on and out of everywhere. Little shop across the street for your fresh bread, water etc Cons: Next door to a large hotel and balcony/bedroom windows over the delivery area. Noise most mornings from 7am with deliveries. Outside area let's the apartment down, the pool needs to be spruced up in particular the sun beds as they were dirty and badly stained. Pool itself needs a refresh as paint peeling and tiles missing. We spent most days at the beach because of this. This is more of an issue for the Building Management to take care of. Would I stay here again, yes if the pool issues are sorted especially the loungers. Based on the interior of the apartment itself and the location I would DEFINITELY stay, ( just spruce and clean up the pool area)

Lovely bright modern apartment. Balcony overlooked and only a few hours of sun in the afternoon but this may not be a bad thing in the summer! A bit small for 4 adults, suitable for 2 or with 2 children. Nice quiet area but close to lots of nice restaurants/ bars

The flat is clean and mostly well equipped. The front door lock was stiff and I had trouble when I first arrived. It did need a bit of force which I was hesitate to do for obvious reasons. There's no provision for waste anywhere in the flat, not one rubbish bin or instructions or where waste goes in the complex. Although you are advised to clear out all rubbish on your departure. Location for access to local bars and restaurants is good and walking distance. Parking is usually down the street but rarely immediately outside the block. Swimming Pool did not look in good order but maybe they clean it up for summer?

This place requires you to have a car, to go into Fuengirola takes about 30 min. There are not many restaurants around. Parking is free on the street but it can be difficult to find a location. If you just want to lie on the beach and eat in the apartment this place is perfect. In 2 min you are on the beach. The pool is ok but has a “flash”system to enter and exit. And there are only a “ blip” which we experienced problematic. Due to Corona there is also nothing to sit/lie on. The apartment itself is ok even though it was quite untidy while we were there. The coffee maker is recalled so we had to use a kettle to pour in water. Dirty pillows and duvets we would have preferred to have let go. There was no garbage brush that worked, just a broken in parts of the balcony. The vacuum cleaner barely worked. Klet and run marks on the walls, dirty socks on the floor, and used masks under the sofa bed. A lot of dogs in the building and one of them in the apartment next door barking all the time, we were disturbed by this. One day there was dog bites in the hallway that we almost stomped in because the lights turn on when you walk there.

Overall the apartment looks pretty good as shown in the pictures. The only bad part is that the mattresses were yellow and the light was jumping right away. They also told us the pool was open and not.

The best customer service. Answered every question I had and went an extra mile to fix the e-scooter which had a flat tyre (e-scooter hire is a must through Frank and very good price). Apartment was clean and well equipped.

Our stay at the Estrella apartments was very good, 3 mins from the beach and nice pool, the pool loungers needed to be updated and a few umbrellas would have been good. Apartment (2bedrooms) was clean and very modern, all new appliances, lights in living/ dining room were not working, so make sure to let the rental company know as I now realize that they would have fixed them pronto. A big thank you to Ismael for rescuing us after we could not open our apartment door on our first Sunday there!, no help available at the apartments.

The apartment is very well-equipped and 3 minutes from the beach. The pool is great very quiet. It has 4 drawbacks - impossible to put the TV in Spanish. - the hottest smells of a creek that I think are faecal waters. - it is best when you get to park the car and not move it until the day you leave. The parking is fatal. - for me the most important, the apartment overlooks the forklift of a hotel, from 7 in the morning they do not stop loading and unloading and make quite a scandal. That is, until about 6 p.m.

Fantastic gem of an apartment in a brilliant location in close proximity to the beach. The pool is only a few steps away and our 2 daughters aged 6 & 8 loved every minute. There are an abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars along with numerous tourist shops. Plenty to see and do. Lovely apartment which was equipped with everything needed. A home from home. The apartment was really clean and in a good location. Quiet location and comfortable pool area. We found everything we needed nearby, and getting around, especially by bus, was convenient, easy, and cheap. The bus stop is right in front of the apartment. The host answered questions quickly and everything went well.

We spent 9 days at the apartment. Although it is not in the very center of Fuengirola, it is perfectly located.. the beach is 2 minutes away, swimming pool.. and walking along the promenade you can perfectly reach the Boliches.. The apartment, completely renovated. The exterior appearance of the building does not say what you really are inside.. an excellent place to feel at home, gorgeous equipped.. the kitchen with its large hob, the dishwasher, huge fridge, microwave, washing machine.. everything you need to make a life as if you were at home.. Bed linen, towels.. everything.. clean and perfect.. It has huge TV ( during our stay it didn't work normally with problems with the antenna that were not resolved). By having wifi and being smart tv you can access all the contents of platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Youtube, etc.. that gave us a lot of life in times that we spent in the apartment.. Large and comfortable living room, a large table for breakfast, lunch, dinner.. and a terrace from which you can see the sea.. It has air-conditioning and many very useful spaces where you can store and store your things. Communication with both Frank and Ismael was correct. Definitely 120% recommended! Thank you!

A wonderful apartment that is in a quiet position with a view of the ocean. With only a few minutes walk you are down on the beach and on the boardwalk which is full of restaurants, small pubs and shops. We were well taken care of when we arrived and got help with transfer back to the airport. Quick response from the host when you needed to ask. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people.

What really works in Franks appartment is not the fact that it is a new, clean and very well layed out appartment, but it makes living outside very easy. The pool is only a few steps from the appartment and getting to the beach is only 3 min. walk from the pool. We enjoyed both every day. Frank even made it possible for us to chek out late, which was very convenient because of a late flight. Thanks a lot Frank - we had a really good time here...
