Frank's place is nice and clean, and location is superb. What's better is that it's quite peaceful in the center of Malaga, which is rare to find! So definitely recommend that if that's what you're looking for. The place is nice, things work well, and it has a nice terrace in the back. What I found quite odd was that a) the cleaning fee is quite expensive and steep 138 EUR to clean a small apartment is quite outrageous, but that was explained upfront so OK. On top of that 2 days before leaving, the most inappropriate thing was that we received some checkout instructions such as a) you need to leave the dishes clean and b) if you don't take the trash out we will fine you with 29 EUR. So, I need to pay a lot for cleaning AND clean myself? And get threatened to be charged if I don't? I mean ... that is not only inappropriate but highly unethical. Hopefully Airbnb can do something about it. It's a shame really because the place is very nice.

The apartment is comfortable, nicely decorated, spacious, very clean. The environment is quiet while being close to the historic center. Very good communication and responsiveness from the managers of the apartment.
