Villa Pernette was a great stop on our trip through France! Really beautiful home with breathtaking views from every window! The location was also great, a bit quieter town but yet lots of recreational options near by and great for easy biking from the house. Oliver and Jacqueline were super attentive, accommodating and just all around nice people. We really enjoyed them! One thing to note, is it sits right on the street so you do hear traffic and we were there at the beginning of the busy season so it wasn't too bad but I can imagine it gets pretty loud when you are outside. On the inside it is really quiet. They have great A/C in all the rooms. Also, crossing the street can feel a bit dangerous at times because for some reason the speed limit increases right there so cars can be going pretty fast. Just something to think of with children. However, once you are by the water the beauty outweighs it all. They really have one of the best spots on the water in that area!

Beautiful place!! Can’t beat the location. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to rest, the road in front of the house is a bit loud, but besides that, our stay was fantastic

Great! Very nice house to host a group and spend a weekend by the lake. The house offers quality services with beautiful spaces both indoors and outdoors. The lakefront garden is a real plus, with space for lunch and lake access via dock. Communication with Mayline was fluid and very friendly. The welcome was welcoming, I would recommend it without hesitation.

Nothing to say about hospitality and responsiveness! The place was spotless and very pleasant inside! 2 things that made us not put 5* The most important thing: the house is really noisy roadside. With a lot of cars passing by very quickly. You also have to pass this road to go to the private beach. The beach is absolutely amazing with a breathtaking view. It is noted in the listing that we have to cross it but we did not think of this kind of road since there were no photos 2nd point: the beds in the bedroom of 4 squeak at the slightest movement. Ultra difficult to sleep because of this The beauty of the private beach, conviviality, the cleanliness of the place, and the fact that the agency takes care of us still allowed us to have a great stay.

Beautiful stay in this beautiful house, despite the rain we were able to enjoy the lake access which is very pleasant. The house was very clean and spacious, each room has its own bathroom which is a real plus. Recommended!

Gorgeous house right on the edge of Lake Annecy. You can look out your window and see Mountains, a Caribbean-like lake, and paragliders gracefully floating through the air. Beautifully renovated home, great for kids, relaxing beach section (after crossing the road), and excellent host. No hassles, no extra rules, just a spectacular place to stay!

We had the most magical stay at this beautiful house! The area is amazing with lots of outdoor activities to do. The house itself is beautifully appointed with everything you need. The location is great, there is a walking/cycle path behind the house and the lake across the road. Small towns scattered among the lake mean nothing is too far away. Would highly recommend this house for a wonderful escape to a beautiful lake.

Great place, stayed remarkably cool even in the heat. Yes there is a road, but if there wasn’t the house would cost more. Still got your own lakeside access!

We had a wonderful time at Sophie’s! We were a group of 9 and had plenty of space. Amazing views of lac d’Annecy and mountains! Host made the check in and check out very easy. Great beach across a busy road but well worth it for views and access to the lake.

The main problem here is that the busy road between the house and the lake patio is RIGHT in front of the house, I mean like five feet. People go way too fast and it’s loud and dangerous. We couldn’t converse or even read out on the deck because of the noise. Crossing over to the lake meant waiting for traffic to ease up and running. The lake patio is also right there next to the road so same thing - it’s hard to converse or read. The flower boxes on the deck and the gardens by the lake are all filled with dead plants and weeds. The bathrooms in the bedrooms don’t have toilets. You have to go out into the main part of the house to use the toilet and there’s no hand soap or hand towels or even a towel rack in the toilets. We had bars of soap we’d intended as gifts so we opened those and had to set the wet bar of soap on the countertop. There’s a weird smell like mold or mildew + bleach maybe?The towels and sheets are weird and some are disposable. Unpleasant! Out of room here…

We enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden on the lake. The cottage was perfect and equipped with every comfort and very nicely furnished. Everything was very nice, just a pity about the busy road. The garden on the lake was across the street from a very busy road.
