This villa is exactly as the photos. Beautiful. And the team that look after you are simply amazing. Delicious Thai food three times a day, the best we’ve ever ever had. Housekeeping so diligent and unobtrusive. Two great boat trips and a qualms bilking trip organised for us. And of course massages, manicures and yoga all within the villa. We will be back! Thank you to the team xx

We spent a 10 day - Family vacation time right now in february ! We were a group of 10 adults and three small kids ( 2 -4 years) and Baan Mika was the most perfect place for us to be! The wonderful pool was the centre of every common activity and those who preferred a little privacy could withdraw from the group in one of the cozy zones belonging to the house! The style of the house is withholded luxurious, nevertheless child-friendly and the service can‘ t be topped! „A....“ and her stuff are such loveable , well doing and well working persons! The housekeeper Miss A took care of the thoughtfulness. The chef cooked very deliciously. The location was also good. It took 10 minutes to get off the plane. There was nothing wrong with the extra bed. The next time there were fewer people, we lived comfortably with 16 people and three families.

Villa / rooms: 10/10 Spacious. Luxurious. Private. Clean and well maintained. And when the sun goes down the residence will illuminate in to a dreamy atmosphere. Swimming pool: 10/10 Its the architectural heart of the villa and with the different depths and seating places its a true gem! Staff 10/10 So friendly and helpful with every question or wish you could think of. Couldn’t be any better than this. Thank you so much Khun Ae and staff! Chef / food 10/10 Absolutely amazing!!! Location 9/10 You have your own little paradise within walking distance of some nice restaurants and bars. And by car/scooter you will have everything within close reach. Beach / ocean 5/10 This was for us the only downside of our stay at Baan Mika. The water is extremely shallow at high tide and there is no water at low tide (due to a 400m sandbar). Positive thing; they have some Kayaks and peddle boards at the villa, just go out and explore the other islands in front of the villa.

A large group of us stayed at Baan Mika last week. As soon as we walked through the doors, we knew it was a special place...peaceful and tranquil. We were welcomed by the staff with fresh towels and a welcome drink. The property was very clean, contemporary and there was plenty of space for all...the property and location are both beautiful and stunning! From my personal experience staying at other luxury rental properties around the world, service is often the "X factor" that determines if one's stay is merely excellent or truly memorable...Khun Ae and her staff afforded us a level of service that sets Baan Mika above the rest, and we did indeed have a truly memorable time! The food was outstanding (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the staff couldn't be anymore helpful or attentive...friendly but not intruding and amazing at all times. Unfortunately a pending massive tropical storm interrupted our stay at Baan Mika but Khun Ae's calm demeanor and management of the situation, eased our concern as we prepared for the worst (fortunately it all worked out). An amazing place that I'm sure we will visit again (hopefully Mother Nature will be more cooperative the next time). And again, special thanks to Khun Ae and her team (and Jimmy "thank you" too) for making our stay wonderful.

Baan Mika is a beautiful property for a group or family. The pool in the center and the rooms all around were just perfect. Clean, well maintained and massive! It was perfect for 5 families and a bunch of kids. It was very close the bophut city center and 20 mins taxi to Chaweng markets and hotels. The staff and manager is great at arranging taxis or tours or even nannies. Only thing which was disappointing was that the beach was not swimmable since it retreated all day due to low tide and the staff compared to other properties we stayed at wasn’t as warm and hospitable. However they kept the villa super clean and accommodated all our requests. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I wasn’t looking for a beachfront property.

We stayed at Baan Mika for almost two weeks in a company of 7 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. All of us were absolutely amazed by the villa and service provided. We loved the food cooked by the chef of villa so much that we ended up eating in almost all of the meals. Khun Ae and her team made sure that everyone of us has the best stay possible- from providing steriliser, thermos, even toys for the baby to preparing fresh smoothies for enjoying by the pool and arranging speedboat trips. Villa itself is wonderful- we appreciated that pool is divided in 3 parts with shallow ones suitable for the kids, garden is beautiful and well maintained and location on the beach is lovely and provides multiple options for activities. Thank you for the great experience, we definitely recommend this villa!

My family stayed at Baan Mika for a week to celebrate my father's 70th birthday and we wanted somewhere special for all the family to gather, with guests ranging from 3 months old to 85 years old. From the moment we walked into the villa, we knew we were going to have a fabulous time. The entire villa was exactly as per the photos, a beautiful blend of modern and Thai influence, and spotlessly clean. The days were spent sipping coconuts by the pool (which was one of the many highlights of the villa!), going canoeing and paddle boarding round the islands (using the equipment provided by the villa), day trips out snorkelling, and enjoying the delicious Thai food that the villa chef prepared every day. (We loved the food so much we even asked for the recipe of one of the dishes that we must have ordered multiple times during the trip!) A special mention and thanks to our incredible villa manager Khun Ae and her staff who were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating at our every request (particularly for the kids, from sterilisers to baby cots to specific meal requests from the fussy 2 year old!) and helping to organise the 70th celebrations. Every little detail was thought of - I cannot speak more highly of Baan Mika and Khun Ae and would highly recommend Baan Mika to anyone visiting Samui!

Everything about this utterly delightful private resort was 6 star plus. The staff could not have done more for us and were beyond expectations. The chef was absolutely out standing. 10 of us had the best holiday & rest ever. We will definitely return & recommend Baan Mika to people of all ages.

Spent 17 days at the villa. Fantastic experience. The best thing about the villa is the staff that is always there for you and ready to fulfil any of your requests in the shortest period of time. The pool is great and villas are very well equipped. Among minor negatives: mosquitoes are a problem (although the staff is making their best efforts to fight them in any imaginable way), so if you have an allergy for mosquito bites it might ruin the experience a bit. The beach outside of the villa is meh, but again the owner warned about it in advance. Overall very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend using this fantastic property

What a wonderful experience we had at Baan Mika. We arrived in Koh Samui on November 29th 2015 after our wedding at Four Seasons Chiang Mai with 15 close friends. We were impressed with Four Season's service and equally impressed, surprised and blown away with Baan Mika's service as well. Communication with Yoram, the property manager, was seamless. Khun Ae, the head coordinator, her chef, and three staff members were amazing. The delicious breakfasts and expertly prepared meals made us feel at home. Khun Ae made sure to accommodate all of our dietary needs making sure that each guest was taken care of. She also helped us coordinate transportations, moped rentals, massages and other reservations as good if not better than Four Season's front desk. The staff was wonderful. Thank you so much! As for the property, this is a great place to host a large group. There's plenty of space to hangout with everyone or little nooks for private time. Each of the 6 rooms offered it's own unique feel, and was meticulously cleaned in the morning with turn down service at night. Sometimes pictures are can be misleading but the pictures posted here are exactly what you get. The pool is perfect. The private beach access is quiet and amazing. We paddled to the nearby islands daily. We chose this place because it was far enough from the crowded touristy Chewang Beach but easily accessible by moped (15min) or taxi (20min). The Big Buddha is a 5min moped ride. Overall, we definitely recommend this place and their staff. We all would love to come back!!

Words can't describe how superb the experience and service was at Baan Mika. Thank you so much Yoram for the booking arrangement, Jimmy the manager for the pre-trip organisation, and Ae and her villa team for taking such good care of us. It really felt like home when we stayed there. The villa was BEAUTIFUL! We loved the decor, private pool, our little private beach and everything! Thanks to the in house chef too, we have had the most wonderful meals in villa. Highly recommended to anyone who is organizing a group party in Koh Samui. It was a really great private complex for a getaway!
