The space
Villa Beyond is an exclusive holiday villa sitting pretty on the mountainside and graced with fabulous views and peaceful surroundings. Hidden away on a private road just a few minutes from Bang Tao, this nine-bedroom villa has an attentive dedicated staff and is an ideal setting for winding down and spending time together.Villa Beyond’s calm ambiance is enhanced by stylish décor, hypnotic views and tropical birdsong in the garden. A blend of natural materials results in a simple but beautiful interior, complemented by bespoke furniture artfully created from wood and metal.
The nine bedroom suites provide discreet hideaways with large, comfortable beds and panoramic views, particularly the master suite with its massive soaker tub and jacuzzi, big enough for two. Every bedroom is equipped with a sound system.
Time at Villa Beyond stands still as days are spent swimming and sunbathing. A refreshing dip in the infinity pool or a lazy afternoon lounging on the terrace to the sound of the waterfall will soothe away any worries.
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on the sail-shaded outdoor dining terrace, or up on the rooftop where there is nothing to disturb the peace. Bliss out with a massage and delight in the delicious Thai dishes prepared by your in-villa chef. As evening falls, the island and ocean view transforms into a vista of stars and twinkling lights, inviting you to venture out and discover Phuket’s vibrant nightlife.

Indoor LivingVilla Beyond’s open-plan living, dining and kitchen area encompasses most of the second level. Large comfortable sofas provide plenty of space for watching movies on the 60-inch TV in the cosy corner lounge, or gazing out over the infinity pool and ocean. Panels of glass doors across the front of the living area fold back to create a tropical indoor–outdoor feel.
Outdoor Living
Villa Beyond’s 16 x 4-metre infinity pool and two sun terraces merge with a promise of total relaxation. Crystal clear water cascades down the sides of the pool to the level below and loungers provide comfort on a sleepy afternoon.
A 12-seater outdoor dining table set below a white ‘sail’ shade offers an informal venue for lazy breakfasts and starlit suppers. On the rooftop is a well-kept lawn and shaded terrace with dining tables and chairs designed for hosting an intimate wedding or other special event.
Bedrooms
The villa’s nine generously sized air-conditioned bedrooms are arranged over three levels offering discreet, private accommodation and either ocean or garden views. King-sized beds and chaise lounges provide luxury and comfort and large windows flood the rooms with natural light. Every room is ensuite and fitted with a dressing area and sound system.

Villa Beyond is set up with a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen gym and game room and pool on the living floor. There are 4 bedrooms above and a 2 bedrooms below. The rooftop is connected with a separate entrance and there are 3 further bedrooms and large terrace area with small kitchen.
Villa Dining Villa Beyond offers a tempting menu of Thai specialities and Western dishes. A full wine, spirits and soft drinks menu is also available. Guests are encouraged to plan their meals together with the villa chef, ideally a day in advance to allow time to buy groceries and prepare meals.
To cover the grocery shopping costs, guests are asked to provide a cash float in advance, and staff will keep all receipts from their shopping for reference. A chef or in-villa shopping service is available for THB 800, covering a grocery cost of up to THB 4,000. For grocery expenses exceeding THB 4,000 a handling fee of 20% will apply.

Our stay in Phuket was marked by outstanding service and breathtaking views. The staff's professionalism and warmth added immensely to our experience. Waking up to the serene beauty of Phuket each day was a highlight, and the house's ambiance perfectly complemented its picturesque setting. Minor maintenance issues, like clogged shower heads and some cabinet wear, were noted. These are small areas that, if improved, could elevate the experience further. The location atop a hill provides privacy and splendid views but can be a challenge for some local transport services, especially for those with heavy luggage. Overall, this Airbnb offers a tranquil, beautiful setting with exceptional service. It's ideal for those who value scenic beauty and a peaceful environment.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at David's Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The villa was comfortable and impeccably clean. David and his team [Khun Oi] provided us with exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we requested. Communication with [Khun Oi] was seamless. She was prompt in responding to any questions or requests, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.

Such an amazing place. Very spacious and very clean. Khun Oi - the villa manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all requests and questions. Staff were amazing, kind and professional. Photos don’t do it justice. Me and my friends had the best time.

David’s Airbnb was great for our groups size. Everyone had their own space and was comfortable. The house sitting on the top of a hill allowed for a beautiful view overlooking the area. The staff was efficient, friendly and extremely accommodating. We would 10/10 recommend this Airbnb for a huge group.

We stayed at this property for a team retreat with people from the US, Europe and India and we had a great time! David, the listing host, was very accessible and accommodating with changes in our group composition prior to our arrival. He was not onsite during our stay but has a very helpful and competent local crew running villa day-to-day. Local crew was led by Mimi who is an exceptional on-site host and responsive coordinator. One of the perks we enjoyed was great home cooking by the local crew, made to order to our dietary restrictions. Part of our group is vegan (Jain diet), part pescaterian, part meat eaters. I wouldn't know what to cook to make everyone happy but the kitchen crew did not have any problems making delicious affordable Thai meals every night that everyone enjoyed (tom ka soup, FTW!) At our request Mimi arranged daily yoga sessions for our group. The terrace is a great setting for morning yoga and Green, the instructor is a fantastic practitioner. The only annoyance was the construction noise from an unrelated villa being built across the street which will hopefully finish later this year (we stayed in July 2022). We worked during our stay, Wifi is fast and covers most of the grounds. Electric plugs in Thailand are designed smartly to accomodate US and European plugs without adaptors. We appreciated there are plugs placed everywhere throughout the indors and outdoors (villa is thoughtfully designed). Villa is on a hillside at the end of a steep road so if you get picked up by tour/event operators tell them because some local vans can't climb the whole way up easily. We had a rental car so it was easy to do quick runs into Surin town to go to pharmacy for ex. If you were to walk it would take 30 min. I'll leave you with this piece of (acquired) wisdom: if you haven't had Thai massage before, do try it and start with soft or medium. Like their spicy food, just know if you ask for hard, masseuses take it seriously and mean it :) Enjoy!

- Note: The Super Strict cancellation policy applies to special circumstances and is by invitation only.
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 60 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest cancels fewer than 60 days in advance, the unspent nights are not refunded.
- If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, the unspent nights are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
