The flat is on the 3rd floor, accessible via lift. For families with children or people with limited mobility, it's worth noting that this is a two-level apartment, so there are some stairs within the apartment.
The Guest Portal will also include an apartment guide, access details with photos and an access code which will become available at your booked check-in time (usually 3 PM).
We also offer a few optional extras not included in your Airbnb reservation, which can be arranged after booking:
Early or late check-out – £15 per additional hour (before 3 PM or after 10 AM, subject to availability)
Extra bedding sets – £30 per set, delivered by our laundry on your chosen day
Mid-stay refresh clean – £66 (light clean, no linen change)
Baby equipment hire – £30 (cot without bedding, baby bath, high chair)
In-person check-in or luggage assistance – Please request well in advance to guarantee availability:
£80 until 5 PM
£120 from 5 PM to 10:30 PM
£200 after 10:30 PM (due to extra taxi cost)
These extras are entirely optional and offered for convenience only. If you'd like to arrange any of them, just let us know after booking.
INSULATION/NOISE
A sliding glass wall separates the bedrooms from the living room, so noise insulation between the rooms is not perfect. However, the flat itself overlooks a calm canal, so there is no disturbance from the outside.
BABY EQUIPMENT
We can organise baby equipment like a travel cot, baby bath, changing mat, pushchair and high chair for £25 per item, which covers transport and wear and tear costs. This can be purchased after reservation. Alternatives include rental services like BabyQuip.

We enjoyed our stay! We loved the big windows letting in lots of light. The location is great, about a 12 minute walk to the nearest station, the nearby canal makes for a nice walk. The home is well equipped and it was very easy to check in. The building also felt very secure and safe. As mentioned by someone else, the home does get very hot as there is no air conditioning (like most places in the UK it seems!). A couple of fans are provided in the bedrooms, we happened to be here on a few really hot days and managed but something to consider when booking!

Fire Safety - No smoking indoors (including vapes) or in the courtyard. - No open flames—this includes candles, fireworks, or lanterns. - Do not cover electric radiators—use the provided airer for drying clothes. - Keep communal areas clear—these are emergency exits. - EV charging (including e-bikes/scooters) from domestic sockets is not allowed. 4. Cleanliness - Remove outdoor shoes inside the apartment. - Follow the online manual for rubbish disposal. 5. Pets - Pets are not allowed unless agreed in advance. - Approved pets require an extra cleaning fee. - Pets must never be left unattended. - If travelling with pets, contact us for guidance on suitable spaces.
