Guest access
The flat is entirely for your use and not shared with anyone. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the shared yard area clean and the noise down, especially at night after 10 PM.The flat is on the lower ground floor and is accessible via stairs only (no lift).
Other things to note
To help protect our community and ensure a smooth check-in experience, we use a secure Guest Portal powered by BoomNow and Truvi (a leading guest-screening provider). Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a link to complete a quick pre-check-in form. Depending on your booking details, you may be asked to verify your ID as part of this secure process.The Guest Portal will also include an apartment guide, access details with photos and an access code which will become available at your booked check-in time (usually 3 PM).
We also offer a few optional extras not included in your Airbnb reservation, which can be arranged after booking:
Early or late check-out – £15 per additional hour (before 3 PM or after 10 AM, subject to availability)
Extra bedding sets – £30 per set, delivered by our laundry on your chosen day
Mid-stay refresh clean – £66 (light clean, no linen change)
Baby equipment hire – £30 (cot without bedding, baby bath, high chair)

We paid extra to be allowed in 2 hours early, but were not given the lock box code at 11am as promised. We had to call to get it and reminded the host about the early entry. Lock box code never was emailed or messaged. Drippy faucet in the kitchen area was fixed promptly. The host takes service complaints very seriously and responded promptly.
The apartment was great once we got in. It is a basement apartment and you need to go down spiral stairs with suitcases to get in. Apartment was clean and spacious. Fabulous location and easy to get everywhere that we wanted to go. Sainsbury was INSIDE Paddington station and GPS directions are not good in that situation.
The microwave was not used as even my husband at 5'10" was too short to see the controls without standing on a chair. Gas stove worked nicely. Cabinets are set very high and you need to be at least 5'10 to reach the first level of a cabinet. A short step stool would be helpful for shorter travelers.
A host manual with explanations on how to use the clothes washer, recommended area restaurants, explicit directions to the nearest grocery would have been nice. Clothes washer door was stuck shut but Google AI gave us good directions on how to unstick it.

schnelle, moderne, freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Anbieter- top, super Lage 4 Minuten zum Bahnhof, transparenter Check in, genug Platz für 3 Personen, super Küchenausstattung, Handtücher, Föhn u. Bettwäsche vor Ort, hätten sogar Wäsche waschen können, Londoner Wohnung ist Altbau- Holzdielen, wir mögen das, Ventilatoren, Lüfter- es waren mega heiße 34 Grad, 2. WC

höchstens kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: vlt. wäre ein Hinweis gut, dass diese Wohnung NICHT geeignet ist für Leute, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, da es eine typische schmale Treppe zum Kellergeschoss hinunter geht, keine Klimaanlage- ist ja auch kein Hotel, Bad ist mit Badewanne, in welcher man duschen kann, vlt. wäre ein Haltegriff an der Wand ne gute Idee, das kleine Zimmer mit dem Bett ist nichts für lange Menschen- hier schlief unsere Tochter, also für uns toppi, die kleine Terrasse schließt direkt an die nicht einsehbaren Fenster der Nachbarwohnung, wen es stört, hätten wir noch n bissel sauber machen müssen zum sitzen- hatten keine Lust;-) andere Stecker zum Strom!
