The apartment was great. My Getaways always responded quickly and was helpful. The only drawback is and was: everywhere in the apartment and after you have booked, it is threatened that the deposit will be withheld. This restricted us to really enjoy the apartment because you are always worried about having to pay £50-500 penalty. We think this is more friendly. But as I said, we were otherwise very satisfied with the apartment and the service. Immendörfer family

The property is nice and clean, although when we arrived there was an over powering smell of marijuana in the lounge, we had to leave the windows open for some time. All the beds are really comfy but the window in the main bedroom doesn’t close properly and there is a cold breeze blowing over the bed. Both bedroom windows back onto a space used from 5 in the morning until 10 at night. It sounds like they are in the bedrooms. Decor is tired with iron marks melted into the carpet. The toilet doesn’t stay up and you have to prop it up with your back. Good central location surrounded by all the shops and sights of Brighton.

Basement apartment accessible through a supermarket parking lot. Apartment was clean, newly renovated and decorated as holiday rental. Close to the beach and only a short walk to the old town. We didn’t have issues with the noise detector, but it still felt weird knowing it’s there. We were woken during the night by noise from outside and upstairs neighbours. The apartment is perfectly fine, if you want to explore Brighton and only need a clean centrally located place to stay. Not the right choice, if you look for a charming place you want to spend time in.

Overall we had a great stay. It is in walkable distance for things to do/see. The apartment was more spacious that the pictures show! It was great for all of us to get ready and sit around the table to drink/eat before going out. The host/team were great with communication, there was a leak from upstairs going into the bathroom and they were quick to come out and take a look. We were worried about the sensitivity of the noise sensors before coming (after reading the reviews from previous guests), but we had no trouble whatsoever ever - although we did have a similar situation with the neighbour upstairs! 7 of us went away so on 2 occasions, I took a phone call outside the apartment. I wasn’t talking loud and the lady upstairs was really rude and told me to take the phone call down stairs. Plenty of people walking by as it’s a busy road leading to a Waitrose. And the phone call did not last more that 10 mins! Other than that, overall great and would come back! Thanks 😊

Great location, 5min to sea side, close the city center, I360. The apartment really clean, the room doesn’t look like the picture in the photo, smaller than expected, damp in bathroom roof, apartment was very clean and sufficient towels for everyone. No parking available, think of parking at the closest underground parking lot at 10min walking distance (£28.5/24hrs). The parking in Waitrose is not allowed, would be fine of 95£. Noise monitoring system fitted within the apartment, very sensitive. You will get phone call when you reach the noise threshold apparently set at 75dB. Not practical if you are with friend and family, you need to go to bed after 22:00. We were receiving phone call from them in regular basis, after 22:00. Overall, it was nice experience, nice city and good location. Not practical for parking and room size not reflecting the pictures.

Stayed with friends for long weekend. All hosts were amazing with quick responses and answering any questions we had. The place was a brilliant location with clear instructions on how to get there making things much easier in a new area. Super close to the shops and seafront but is still tucked away for privacy and peace. Beds were very comfy, the vanity table was a great touch. The living room was cozy. We cooked dinner one night - has all utilities you’d need. Bathroom also great. Would definitely recommend, 10/10!

Great communication with My Getaways. There was an issue with the property that we originally booked due to crazy weather however My Getaways sorted an alternative which we were super grateful of their effort.

Our stay was amazing the place was emaculet very clean with beautiful decor we booked for Monday to Thursday and ended up staying another day as it was so beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was a good size and rooms were spacious sheets and towels were extremely clean. I would highly recommend good value for money home away from home. Only five minutes away from the beach with lots of amazing shops a stone throw away.

Even though the property slept 7 people, it needs to be advertised that it’s lacking in space. Some more basic amenity’s could be supplied (cooking oil, soap, etc). Communication is useful but a bit too often. Location is perfect!

A really stunning place to stay. Clean throughout the rooms including bedding and bathrooms. Pots, pans, cups, plates and cutlery needed a clean before we used them but nothing bad. The location is good with just a short walk to the beach and shops! There was no frying pan and no non stick saucepans to cook with, meaning everything was put in the oven which took a long time (oven not as hot as needed) but as cafes are local can easily go there. Lastly, we still enjoyed our stay but the women who lives above the property was not happy the minute we got there. She was rude and swore at guests. She reported us for loud music (at 1 in the afternoon) and was relentless in getting us into trouble. We didn’t take it personally as it seems she just doesn’t enjoy living above an air b n b that holds 8 guests. Overall the feel of the property was great, would book again if the neighbour wasn’t home.

Booked at the last minute, a really good and central place to stay - near everything. Lots of space, clean, nice furnishings and equipment. Video supplied which detailed out how to get access to the keybox which was really helpful. Recommended.

It was a really pleasant stay. The space was really clean, well-kept, the bedding was really comfortable, utensils and cutlery were provided and I loved the colourful and vibrant decor. I loved the mirror light in the room with the bunk-bed and I absolutely loved the colourful rug in the living room. Whenever I had queries during my stay, the communication and responses to my queries were very prompt and politely answered. It is a very cute and cozy space offered at a good price.
