The location is great, the interior of the house is beautiful and comfortable, but we had problems with the host, first: the host asked for insurance, and did not make that clear from the beginning, and asked for insurance after the cancellation period ended, then he did not return the insurance to us after the period ended and we left, also we asked for the washing machine to be repaired and he did not respond and this cost us a lot of money,Also suddenly the host changed the PIN codes without telling us that evening so our kids and I had to wait outside. Unfortunately the host treated us very badly. We left the house clean as usual, but the host claimed that some utensils were faulty and we asked for documentation of that but he didn't respond. Be careful when you live here, the host is very bad.

My 7 friends and I stayed at this beautiful accommodation. Walking distance from the train station and so local to all other amenities, restaurants, bars and Brighton Pier. The hosts always responded so quickly, perfect accommodation. We loved our stay!

We had a great stay with our children and parents. The location was excellent and it was quiet too. We had everything we needed, lots of space and clear instructions for entry. The hosts were super responsive and helpful over the stay. We would definitely book again.

A great place to stay if the front door works. Unfortunately our stay was somewhat ruined due to the front door code failing to work. As a result we were locked out on a few occasions which meant we needed to call up to just get into the property. On one occasion security had to come in order to get us in. There was a lack of urgency with the issue being flagged on the Friday early evening but not being resolved until Saturday midday. So a whole night was spent in an unlocked unsafe property. We tested this by asking a friend to come round the next morning, they were able to walk straight in as the door never locked. And yet on other occasions the door locked and code automatically changed leaving us locked out. A very frustrating experience which wasted too much of our time and risked ours and our belongings safety. Since leaving I requested a refund but three days later I have not had any email or correspondence back. A shame as the property itself and location were great.

Brighton is great to rest and also go out for a stroll. House was lovely, basics already provided, just like the pictures. Do recommend looking into staying here!

The only issue we had was with the lock. It was digital and very temperamental meaning that you could be standing there for a few minutes trying to get in.

This was a nice location to stay. The house provided all the facilities required. It was clean and tidy. We had trouble accessing the building on the first night this took nearly 2 hours to resolve. The packing space is very small.

We had a great weekend, the house is a perfect location to get to places without being in the hustle and park. Parking on the drive was an added bonus! The house was clean and tidy if not a little run down in places. The front door lock was a pain and found it difficult to get into the property but this wouldn't put us off staying again!

After an hour of waiting and without being able to get someone on the phone we were able to get in and finally be called back. The code on the app was incorrect. The space is very good overall, even if it has aged a lot vs the photos. Bedding is good, everything is available as equipment. Conveniently located within the town. Super convenient parking space even for large cars

The front door doesn’t shut properly, the property overall needs a lot of maintenance and looks run down in places. The bathroom shower doesn’t produce hot water. We did notify the host but initially they didn’t understand the problem and then sent instructions which didn’t work, the shower just doesn’t produce hot water. This isn’t ideal when potentially 6 people can stay at the property and you’ve just got one bath! The bedroom on the second floor has a low ceiling, if you’re 6ft tall or over you’ll have to duck a lot. We asked for beds to be made up in advance to queen size rather than singles/twin but they didn’t do it. The locations handy as you can easily walk into the centre but a point to note is you are on a noisy major bus route where buses go past every 5 minutes from approx. 7am to midnight each day. I would say overall the value is poor at the moment unless a refurbishment is done.

Firstly, this is a nice house in a fantastic location with parking. Communication was great. Flexible sleeping arrangements but the beds felt small and more suited to groups wanting to crash. The place could do with a pause to have a bit of an interior refresh as there are signs of wear.

Pro’s; great city centre location, under 5 min walk to main shops, 10 mins to The Lanes/Pavilion/beach, clean and spacious property for our family of 6 plus dog, looked just like photos with nice decor and personal touches, sofas and beds comfortable, good heating (warm and cosy), free parking a definite bonus , My Getaways were responsive to our queries Con’s; front door keypad sensitive so didn’t always open easily, equipment on listing a bit misleading, ie listing implied there was a coffee maker but it was instant coffee sachets, could have been a few more basics ie only small 4 toilet rolls, no kitchen roll or cooking oils, spices etc, only one tea towel, limited cutlery for 8 people. These are small issues but would have made a difference if thought through a little more. The property did have a good selection of pans and dishes and it was great there was washing up liquid and hand soap in the bathrooms. Overall, this is a great property that we would go back!

Good downstairs space. Perfect for the 4 of us and dog for Christmas. Would have been tight with 8 people. Lighting in sitting room was poor. Lots of storage in kitchen and bedrooms. Parking space tight for our Volvo. Excellent location for Park (dog-walking), restaurants, shops and beach.

Great location, easily walkable to the centre of Brighton. Everything looked like the photos, apart from a few stains on the carpet and some marks on the wall from other guests- otherwise everything was amazing and set up perfectly for our big group.

I would like to say how much we enjoyed the stay at the house. The children loved it too. Lovely rooms and facilities, and within easy reach of the town and seafront. The issues we had were quickly resolved. I would recommend to family and friends. Thank you from all of us.

Great stay. The location was perfect. We had a rented car but we never used it. Was excellent for our family and enjoyed our time. We would stay again without hesitation.

I stayed with my family for five nights. Our expectations were met and everything was like on the pictures and described in the listing. The property is in a very central location in Brighton. The beach, the city center and a mall can be reached within a couple minutes of walking. There is parking right in front of the house, but not suitable for long cars in my opinion. I own a mid-sized sedan with a length of 4.7m (185 in). Even if parked at a perfect angle to maximize the space, my car’s trunk was sticking out to the sidewalk. If your car is longer than mine, you will most likely block the whole sidewalk. Anything else was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay!

The house was in an ideal location and the centre was was within walking distance of the centre. It was very clean and had enough bedroom and dining space for 8 adults. The company who look after this property were very responsive and communicated with us very well. There needed to be a little more seating within the sitting room area as it was comfortable for 6, but overall space was great.

We stayed at this gorgeous Airbnb for a hen do weekend and it was the perfect place to play games and chill out after a long day out in Brighton. It was ideal that we all had our own single beds! The host was really responsive to any questions and we felt right at home.

The Townhouse is in a great location for Brighton. Easy walking distance to the seafront, bars and restaurants. There is a lovely little pub right across the street, and some lovely cafes for breakfast only a minute or so further down the street that serve brilliant food. The parking space outside the property is invaluable as well. The house was well equipped and felt really spacious, even with eight of us staying there. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other at all. Previous occupants had made a bit of a mess on the landing carpets and an attempt had been made to clean it, but that didn’t impact our stay and I sent time-stamped photos taken just after we checked in. Overall, I would not hesitate to come back and stay again.

Location & property were great, hosts were not. They claimed that we were loud and had noise complaints despite spending barely any time in the house and speaking to the neighbours ourselves with no issue. They spent the whole of Friday night calling me and texting me threatening me with a security team & extra charges despite us going out of our way to respect our neighbours. If you are looking to stay in a property where you are only allowed to communicate in whispers & only read books for enjoyment this property is for you. Anything else, I would not recommend.

Beautiful house which is very central to the beach and all activities in Brighton. Beds extremely comfortable and the house has all the basic facilities you’ll need. The only downside is the noise monitor is very sensitive and we got hounded with calls and text messages after 10pm because we were talking too loudly. It was only after we gave up and went to bed at 11pm that they stopped contacting us!

Pros- the place is really lovely, as described, bright and sunny, and very spacious. The location is great, and it was very clean. Cons - When we booked this place (which is quite expensive for what it is), we expected to get the lockbox code for check-in through the app. Instead I was sent an email to download an app and was told I'd be sent the code through the app an hour before checkin. Unsurprisingly, that didn't happen, the app didn't work, it wouldn't recognise my phone number, and nothing came through Air BnB. I called twice, waited on hold, and was told someone would call me back. I waited a long time, called back again, then finally got through to someone on Air BnB who texted us the code, after we'd been standing outside the property for quite a long time. I understand it's not all friendly community members renting houses on Air BnB. And I get it that many of them are businesses. But making you download their app and not providing adequate check-in information made this whole thing super stressful, and outweighed the nice property. There's no human element to it - it's an overpriced company-rented property that fails at a basic level of providing access to the property to people who have paid £700 to stay there for one night. Really disappointed by that, and it caused a stressful start to our trip. Also, there are no basics at all, like shampoo or even soap. I'd really expect more for £700.

Absolutely lovely house and so well situated for town and the station. Cool interiors, bedding, towels and facilities throughout. Personally, I missed having a double bed (two pushed together was not great) so that would be the only thing putting me off rebooking. But for other parties all the single beds would be perfect.
