My Getaways is a professional API connected host and is therefore authorised by Airbnb to handle damages deposits from guests directly outside of Airbnb.

My Getaways is committed to our owners to ensure their holiday homes are protected during bookings. The day before you arrive at your property we will send you a 3D secure link to pay either pre-authorise your credit card for a fully refundable damages deposit of £500 OR you can opt to pay £50 non-refundable My Cover/Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers you for to up to £300 of accidental damage protection. Deliberate damage is not covered. If you opt to pay a deposit, you will have your card pre-authorised for the full damage deposit and if no deductions are to be made, we aim to remove the pre-authorisation within five working days after you check out.

Nice place and location – unfortunately some bedding was missing on the first night so a couple of us slept in the cold, but the host remedied this the next day

from the outside it doesn't look much but when you're in there it's honestly brilliant, the place was clean and tidy and we all had spaces to sleep, it was a great time and if we go to Brighton again I know where ill be staying!!!

This place is well-located for the Lanes, train station, and seafront. Noise from the street during the night. Sofa bed unusable. Otherwise, the apartment is comfortable and clean.

We stayed for a long weekend as a group and found the accommodation to be exactly as described. It is no-frills and reasonably-priced but everything is very clean and functional. The location is excellent, in the middle of everything in central Brighton, and was easy to locate and to walk to from the main attractions. Outside noise made it a little difficult to sleep soundly through the night but frankly that is expected to an extent on a main road, on Pride weekend!

We really want you to enjoy your stay with us and in order to make sure that you do and for the sake of other residents, we ask you to respect the house rules: No smoking inside the property, If you wish to smoke, please use the patio and clean up any debris that is caused by smoking. Any additional cleaning charges caused by smoking in the property will be deducted from your deposit. Noise - In consideration of our neighbours, noise MUST be kept to a minimum between 22:00 and 08:00. This includes no loud music or parties. We are not the anti-fun police but we want you to have a great trip and our neighbours to have a good night's sleep. No pets (unless agreed in advance) Please note check out is by 11am. We do ask that you respect the check-out time as it affects our ability to prepare theproperty for the next set of guests. You agree to be charged a late check-out fee of £50 per hour or part thereof if you are not vacated by this time unless agreed in advance. When you are ready to vacate the property please wash up, bag and bin your rubbish and take it with you for disposal. This property should only be booked by a lead guest who is over the age of 21, we do not accept bookings from groups of people under this age. If in doubt please contact us before booking. Failure to adhere to any of these house rules will result in deductions being made from your deposit to cover any additional costs for cleaning and damage caused.
