We had such a lovely stay at On Water 2! It was a unique and fun experience being right on the water in Brighton Marina. Waking up to the sea on both sides was just amazing. The kids absolutely loved it, such a cool and different adventure for all of us. Brighton Marina Village also has everything you need, open till late, which made our stay super convenient. Would definitely recommend it for a fun and easy family getaway!

Not a bad place, but not what I expected. Bathroom is tiny, would compare it to a plane lavatory. Steep stairs so be careful. £30 non refundable deposit, very cheeky. Not a bad location easy to get to places. Decor could improve, and a new rug is needed in the living room area.

Booking was a little tiresome, as you needed to download an app, and they try to charge you a £30 non-refundable depositum guarantee. Read closely, to make sure you find the refundable option. Except from this, we had a great stay. Wonderful for kids. Close to bus stop to Brighton, frequent rides. There is a washing machine in the flat, which was great. Nice and clean, comfortable bed, unique surroundings.

Although we had a few minor issues when we arrived, all were dealt with quickly and efficiently and made no effect to the great time we had. Our only comment is that the accommodation does need a little bit of maintenance done to it to make it a top notch place to stay.

We loved it. The apartment 'On the Water 2' was a unique accommodation experience, floating on top of a pontoon, which we could not feel move despite some windy conditions. We loved the balcony with its lovely views of the marina and its boats. The interior is well-equipped with a kitchen that included everything we needed and a complimentary tray of tea and coffee. The mezzanine level, accessed by steep stairs, was cosy with a comfortable bed. The compact bathroom features a reliably hot shower. There is a smart TV connected to various streaming services, though it lacks mainstream channels such as BBC. Wi-Fi worked well. I’d recommend this apartment for those seeking an unconventional place to stay in the area.

Stayed here for a brief escape from a hectic working summer and it was perfect! So peaceful to be with the boats on the waterfront and easy to walk into the city centre for excellent food & shops etc.

Fake description. No care at all about guest needs. they requested money to be paid out of airbnp. I gave evidence, photos, videos. very aggressive to get more Money and they threatened me to pay money out of airbnp or ill not check inn. I don't advice anyone to stay with this host . you will be cheated. the worst host I met on airbnp. Till now they didn't refund my security damage deposit. I have videos on time and date I left that all is the same as I checked inn. I'm arranging court against them for the moment.

The location is beautiful, but the accommodation is dressed up in the photos as something else , the place is really small and struggles with 3 people let alone 4 people you could get much more space and better facilities with you money around the area, the location is the best part about it , also the parking is a nightmare for bigger vehicles, the security gave us a pass and the company still gave me a ticket, The place is like a polished hostel type accommodation, shame as it’s a beautiful location but not what is presented in the photos

Lovely place to stay with a gorgeous view, in a private area, and amenities (like the lanes and the town) are easily accessible via a 35-40 minute walk or a 10-15 minute bus ride that comes every 10 minutes.

Great stay in a cabin on a jetty. Open the curtains and you’re surrounded by water and boats. Very peaceful and no noise pollution made it a relaxing stay. Not the biggest and no separate rooms for privacy except a smallish bathroom. Suitable for a couple or 3 friends max.

As a family of 4 we were worried it would be too small but it was perfect. The sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on but you can't complain when you open the curtain to that beautiful view

The location was perfect for what we needed, close to plenty of restaurants and shops, with an Asda very near for bits and bobs. The accommodation was perfectly adequate with everything we needed, although it was quite a bit smaller than we expected and the staircase is very steep so may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues, also the shower/toilet room is quite tight for getting in and out of the shower. That said the shower was wonderful, hot and plenty of power in the water stream. The beds were very comfortable and the linen clean and fresh. The fridge was a good size, but cupboard space is limited for produce. the welcome pack was a nice touch.

We have just had five fabulous days in the property. Location and surrounds were amazing. Very peaceful, great amenities close by and public transport. Overall, the property was perfect. However, I do have a couple of things to grumble about, and I say ‘grumble’ not complain. Can I suggest that text message be send a day or two prior to check in regarding parking briefly in the marina ramp to drop your luggage off. It is a trek. Also; we were only supplied with three towels for two of us. One bath towel each and one hand towel which were for five days. I did actually wash and dry them in the property after a couple of days, which wasn’t a problem, it just would have been nice to have a couple extra. Last issue was the shower room. My husband is a big fella, and should he of been slightly bigger; he wouldn’t have been able to use the shower due to the size of the cubicle. Maybe a diplomatic description would be beneficial. We have thoroughly enjoyed it, and would love to go again.

Spent a lovely Easter long weekend here. A great little studio for a short break with lovely views of the boats in the marina. The kitchen facilities were a bit limited, but no problem for a mini-break. A chopping board, breadboard and a decent sized frying pan would be useful additions. John, Harrogate, North Yorkshire

My stay at the marina was lovely. It was everything I wanted. The space was clean and comfortable. The private deck overlooked the marina and it was so peaceful. The space is surprisingly quiet, it was very windy and I could barely hear anything outside. Very secure with the locked gate. It’s about a half hour walk on the beach to get the the Brighton Pier. That was perfect for me as it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle while still being accessible. Plenty of restaurants and things to do right around the marina. The host was responsive and friendly. All in all I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Prime location thats private and safe, with a number of restaurants, shops and entertainment nearby and a regular bus service that takes you straight into the centre of Brighton. A cute and functional layout with a good amount of space. A great home away from home. Loved it!

Small but full of character and very clean and tidy. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and easy to get into the main part of Brighton too, you can easily walk it in 30 minutes. Not the easiest to find but the instructions are actually very accurate! We had a lovely stay overnight.

Good location, with lovely views, close to plenty of restaurants and Asda. Has everything you need for a short stay. Good to have access to free parking, but it is quite a distance to walk with your luggage. Stairs are very narrow which makes it difficult carrying anything up to the bedroom. Make sure you study the floor-plan and understand the compact size. Be aware that although there is a TV, you can only watch catch-up.

Great location with great views. Space is limited, but we had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and everything worked. In hot weather I recommend that you take a fan. The bed on the mezzanine gets very warm up there as you are right in the apex. There is a small window that opens and with the patio doors open, you get a bit of a through draft, however the seagulls can be very loud at night, so we had to close them. Cleaning should have been better, but this has been reported and I'm told will be addressed. Unique property ideal for a few nights in a novel location.

Lovely little place. Very compact for a family of 4 but has everything you need and great to wake up close to the water. A good base for Brighton. Car park is a bit of a walk away but you can unload at the end of the jetty. We had amazing weather which was a bonus and plenty of really good restaurants on the doorstep.

What a lovely place; and for boat lovers like ourselves, you simply will never get a better view from your windows. If you've got bandwidth-hungry people, please be aware, the internet is a bit slow, and the TV is for catchup TV. Overall, a very enjoyable extremely well located cozy accommodation amongst the boats in the Marina.

Lovely place in a beautiful area, was very small but we expected that from reading comments but perfect for 2 people, kitchen and bathroom was very clean and beds was beautifully made, we did expect there to be milk as there was condiments for tea and coffee and also expected a little salt and pepper but there was none, the WiFi was very slow that’s the only problem we had was the bad tv service but if this was sorted we would return
