We stayed with a group in this apartment. Upon arrival, 1 bathroom was already out of use because it was blocked. The plumber came by the next day, after which the entire bathroom was unusable and was not left clean. We were offered other options, but these did not work for us due to our schedule. Apart from the bathroom, we had a nice stay, we were well helped and everything else worked well and was clean. However, in the morning very early noise from construction workers.

I had a longer review to write but to condense the matters down, I had asked for an early check in and this was not accommodated in any way shape or form as it was, for my lifetime of hotel and air BnB stays; insult late at 4pm with an outright refusal to allow us to drop luggage off. We asked for more information to locate the premises as the postcode took us to a shady backstreet and the information pack which had limited constructive or visual information was regurgitated to us, with the ownership quite frankly rude to unhelpful. Despite the premises and ownership citing they needed until 4pm to clean there were multiple issues with the apartment including mould on the bathroom tiles and all windowsills, a pile of dirty towels left in the wardrobe and there was no iron to accompany the ironing board as well as only one small fan for when the premises is in a hot seasons with limited windows that open. I’d have explained more but space is limited. We would not stay again.

Paid an extra £50 for early check in providing the cleaners would come earlier however upon arrival we discovered an old and “crusty” sock in one of the sofa beds and a used plaster in another bed. Although not the hosts fault the apartment block we were located in had a very strong smell of stale smoke. Given the heat of the weekend the apartment also get very stuffy so could do with air conditioning or at least some fans are the windows don’t open very far so they don’t provide good ventilation. The location was good.

The accommodation is good and as described but the check-in was catastrophic. For a possible check-in at 4 p.m. in the accommodation we had a payment link for the deposit after 4 p.m. and without this payment we could not enter the accommodation. One tip, change manager to rent your apartment.

The sea, the pier, the Royal Pavilion, the lanes and public transport are easily accessible. Unfortunately, the apartment is in a somewhat run-down area. It was clean and nicely decorated. A window (cannot be closed completely) and the drain of the one toilet needs to be repaired. Contact was good,quick response.

Great location, with many nice cafe's and the beach nearby. The accommodation was sufficient and as described. Some parts including the windows and radiator were slightly broken but otherwise the property was kept to a good standard. The parking around this area is very difficult, so definitely consider that before you arrive. Overall, this AirBnB was a great place to stay in.

The flat was just what we expected. The location was good, within easy reach from the Lanes, good bus connections to the station, and very close to the beach and the pier. The communication with My Getaways was flawless from the moment of booking. All instructions clear and easy. I would suggest one improvement for the future, especially for guests from abroad. All the electical apliances need to be switched on at the socket, even the rooter and radiator. Login into the WiFi is otherwise impossible. Beds were very comfortable, few shelves in the bedroom would be nice, especially for longer stay. The shower in the en-suite bathroom is bit tricky. Water is being pumped out of it only from time to time. We have reported the issue on Sunday morning and My Getaway responded immidietly, offering to send maintenance. At that stage we have learned how to cope with the issue and decided we are fine for the 2 more days of our stay. Definitely would recommend the place and also stay again.

I came down with a group of friends for a weekend and we had a great time! The flat is private, spacious, clean and within super easy walking distance of plenty of great pubs/restaurants/shops, and of course the beach! The hosts were also very responsive when I had any questions. Would absolutely recommend for a group looking to enjoy a weekend in Brighton and looking for a mix of things to do. Thanks again!

we have arranged a later check out, which was completely ignored by the landlady inadequate communication. A cleaning lady put us outside the door with all the luggage. We couldn't even check if we had forgotten anything. I've never experienced such an unfriendly person!

When we arrived the kitchen floor was dirty. We found hair in 2 beds. Windows don't isolate from noise or cold The walls are not thick either since 2 nights in a row we heard music from the building very loudly until 2am The "chapel" parking lot we were offered is permanently closed The wifi code was not working, we had access to it thanks to the box QR box In short, apart from its central location we were disappointed with the accommodation

Great location in the city center - the apartment itself is very nice with a great kitchen, living room and comfortable beds. - only problem I had was not being able to find the remote to the tv but didn’t spoil the trip at all. I recommend this airbnb to anyone travelling in groups of 5-6

The outside near the front door was disgusting smelt of urine, the stairs leading to the flat where also if a very bad way need alot of cleaning. The flat itself was a pleasant surprise once inside it was very clean, smelt nice, modern lovely bathrooms and cosy. There where only a few ssues I feel that need to be addressed one was the flat needs painting some wear and tear. Another major one was the window are so bad the flat was freezing had to keep heating on most of the night the en suite could not be used at it was far to cold. Place definitely needs new windows. We also booked to sleep 7 however I had to make up the sofa beds no instructions as to where the spare linen was not enough duvets or pillows for extras and the single one in the bedroom was very uncomfortable ended up squeezing together on a single bed. But overall the flat is nice and I would stay again if it was cheaper. Thank you to the host K. Abbas

On arrival we had an unpleasant and unexpected encounter outside. I don’t think it’s common for this location. What was hugely impressive was that as soon as I contacted the owner we were immediately looked after and moved to a location that suited us better. We felt heard and taken care of. Really great communication and care.

We booked last minute with Getaway through Airbnb having been let down and our accommodation cancelled by another host the evening before. We booked in the afternoon thankfully the apartment was amazing. Very spacious 5 - 10 min walk to the pier/shops. The apartment had everything we needed. We had a wonderful two night stay. Daughter ran the marathon so needed a comfortable stay which we got. Thank you

Great stay and location! Walkable to town and the beach. We had 8 people stay and it was cosy. Deposit fee was fine but not something I had encountered on Airbnb before. There wasn’t enough toilet paper so would recommend buying extra. Otherwise, very happy with this place.

The apartment was in a great location- a very short walk to the beach, shops and pier. Check-in was easy, as was communication with the host throughout our stay. The decor was nice, but the apartment was a little rough around the edges. The windows were difficult to open and close and the kitchen had the feel of a student flat (not maintained to the highest quality). Overall, we had a pleasant stay and with a few tweaks I would stay here again.

Great place, very quick messaging support, however the 3rd party platform to provide a deposit was a bit frustrating as I had to go outside the airbnb platform to check in and also pay an additional deposit. I only found out about this after I had paid the cost of the Airbnb which wasn't ideal but the place was great.

Positives - the location is very central and just a short walk to the beach, good-sized accommodation. Negatives - The apartment was superficially clean, but grubby under sofas, dusty, etc, not ideal with a baby that crawls around (particularly annoying when you're charged a cleaning fee). The apartment needs TLC (marks on walls, window wouldn't fully close). The common areas are dirty, lift not in service - feels very "student accommodation". In summary OK but id pick somewhere else if you have a baby! Parking is V expensive at £18.40 a day - car park only a short walk away.

Clean and easy to access. Very close to the beach and the pier. Everywhere easily walkable. Would recommend this as a place to stay for the weekend. The hosts were easily contactable and really helpful. Perfect place for a group of friends. I did notice that the sinks leaked a bit onto the floor but not a major issue.

Its a decent place, the windows don't offer amazing views but we didn't expect any, the hosting is done through my getaways which is fairly automated but extremely responsive and quick. The important thing to note is that the windows are extremely stiff (there is a note to let you know) and a small limited amount of toiletries are provided. Overall it was exactly what we paid for and wanted in a great location with excellent hosting.

As you walk up to the location you'll be welcomed by green sewage running down the pavement and enough dust to draw a pretty picture on the windows. But fear not! as you finally get into the flat it looks lovely, the bathrooms are especially beautiful..I mean if you don't mind a bit of sewage leaking up here and there! remember to bring toothpaste and shower jel as it's not provided, the TV and majority of the electric plugs are just there for decoration too. The most exciting part is, my getaways will make sure to blame you and make excuses for not sending maintenance round, so if you'd like a 'Karen restaurant' kind of experience. I think you'll really enjoy 'my getaways'!

Great location and great apartment. There's a nice breakfast to be had if you chuck a right out of the main entrance, walk down the end of the road, chuck a right and walk down the main road to the bottom of the hill on the right hand side, Redroaster. Bit pricey but nice scran.

Brilliant apartment in Kemptown! Held 5-6 guests no problem! Sofa beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms done out lovely! Apartment is very modern and accessible to every part of Brighton! We could walk to Brighton pier, i360 and all beachfront parts! We had an amazing weekend here - thank you My Getaways! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Brighton - could not fault anything about this apartment!

Perfect location, inside the airbnb was great all the small bits and pieces you don't want to bring away with you are in the flat. Cutlery etc. Parking was a bit of the struggle, we ended up going for the NCP car park which wasn't a long walk away and was reasonably priced.

A modern well-equipped flat in a convenient location, with comfortable beds and two decent bathrooms. Plenty of space, and easy to access via lockbox. Supermarket and launderette as short walk away, as are numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. The beach is not far either, and the centre of town is accessible on foot. On-street parking was possible if not easy; if we came again we’d leave the car at home. Unfortunately we were visiting the children’s hospital, and this made an ideal base at a difficult time.

A last minute booking for us, we were really happy. A spacious apartment with fun decor and everything we could have needed. The children LOVED the bunk beds and style of their room, in fact every time we went out they wanted to go back there! Check in in easy and quick, communication with the hosts is great, they reply instantly. The location is good, close to everything and walkable to the seafront. Parking isn't the easiest but if theres a space you do get 2 hours out front to unload/ load for £2.50. If you need somewhere cool to stay thats close to town then this is perfect. Many thanks, we would stay again.

Great flat in a perfect location. Looks as per the photos. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Lots of lovely cushions and blankets and heating was super quick. Good hot shower. Had soap in every room and 4 toilet rolls! (Many places only leave 1...!) Also a few tea bags and coffee and the biggest bonus was a big bag of ice for GnTs! Parking anywhere in Brighton is a pain, but we could park right outside for 2 hours when we unloaded. Then we used Black Rock which is a mile away, but a nice walk along the front. It was only £14 for 48 hours which is excellent for Brighton! Communication was thorough and quick, no issues.

Pretty little apartment in Kemp Town Brighton. Close to all amenities, stones throw from the Main Street with bars and restaurants, main town centre and the beach. Very clean and a nice touch of a few tea bags, coffee and sugar. Decorated with some very nice touches

This property is in an excellent location, only 5 minutes away from the beach, local shops and bars. It was very modern and clean and comfortably housed seven of us for the weekend. There were a few basic amenities missing and more house rules emailed to us than posted on the listing. But overall, it was a great place to stay!!
