The accommodation itself is tired and in need of some maintenance and repair (no kick boards in the kitchen, only 4 mugs which were also chipped, no time opener/ scissors- awful lumpy mattress on one of the beds in the triple room) BUT the My Getaways team were really responsive and helpful. The app was also really useful. And the location was AMAZING- right in The North Laines near great shops/ coffee/pubs. And because it was a Mews house, it was surprisingly quiet. The free parking spot was great too- the 10 minute walk didn’t matter at all, especially as car parking in central Brighton is extortionate. Thanks

It had everything we needed, It’s in a really good location. Only thing that could be better is that it’s a place for 5 people in my opinion as the “sofa bed” was really uncomfortable, so my friend just slept on the actual sofa.

My family and I needed a well deserved break away from London so I booked a two night break with My Getaways. It is not what I would have usually booked but I was attracted to the bright and quirky decor of the accommodation. The location was pretty convenient as we were by all of the bars, restaurants and the shops. I thought it was going to be quite noisy at night with all the local bars but it was fine and we all had a very decent night sleep on both nights. The beds were comfy, the bed linen were clean and kept us nice and cool! I had a bit of an issue getting into the keysafe and messaged the host after 10pm. The host was very prompt and accommodating. The only thing I would say is that the walls could do with a bit of decor (paint) other than that, I would reccomend due to great location.

Is in a good location in the north lanes , the flat is quite cute, but is very tired and needs a lot of attention, not suitable if you have mobility issues, was advertised has having free parking on property, but it’s actually about a 15-20 min walk away. We used Trafalgar car park which was a 5 min walk away at £26 for 24hrs Beds are ok, but not very comfortable, and we got woken up by the seagulls ( loudest noise ) at 3.15 am,I know this isn’t the land lords fault , but don’t expect a lay in !!! Lots of shops , cafes and restaurants near by which was good 😊

I sated here for 2 nights (fri/sat) and this is my honest opinion. Good points - excellent location, right in the heart of the Lanes and a short walk to the seafront. surround by lovely coffee shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean, quite spacious and looks like it does in the photos. Perfect for a weekend stay. Bad points - double yellow lines outside make dropping off your bags tricky, not a major issue but just good to know. The advert refers to a "strict no noise" policy between 10pm and 8am which suggests that everyone around the flat also adheres to this. on our second night the people next door had a massive party, at least 40/50 people inside their flat and outside our apartment, music blasting from 9pm to after 3am. safe to say we didn't get much sleep at all. After complaining the host said they cannot be responsible for other people's behaviour, which is fine but they should not advertise as a quiet area if its beyond their control.

Great stay overall, I would not recommend the sofa bed, it’s not much of a bed at all. Everything was clean and tidy. Little difficult to find as the map directions took us to a different gate on maps for some reason. Great location though and would recommend for groups of 5 or less! Thank you 😊

Parking is about 8 mins away from the property in Portland Street, to the left of house number 20 (in bay number 3 once you drive in). You need the remote control both for getting in and for getting out of the parking. (The remote is on the key ring for the property, found in the safe at the entrance of the property; you will get the code for this safe at the earliest at checkin time via email). Good location of both, handy to have parking in that area. Note: you won't receive checkin details until the exact time from which you are allowed to checkin, so make sure you can access your airbnb/email at that time.

Nice place and in a good location. However, there is a noise sensor in the living room - We received a text saying we had triggered this noise sensor that was “set at a fair level” when we were just hanging out. I would say avoid if there’s more than 3/4 of you or if you want to play games/have any fun.

Very unique layout with the spiral stair case which we loved. Some may find it a bit tricky as steep but no issues for us. Clean throughout with added items such as fans for the summer etc. Living space modern and very well presented. Overal I would recommend this place. It's behind a closed gate for added peace of mind.

The apartment was in a very good locations. the car parking space was not ideal, around 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The general cleanliness of the apartment was not great, the bath was dirty and had a fairly large crack in the bathtub. The kitchen area was not cleaned particularly well, the iron was filthy. Finally there was a great deal of misleading information regarding the security deposit and damage waiver. On the payment page on the app the small print read there is a £300 damage depositor £30 damage waiver which will be taken once booked, but once I had booked the host sent a message stating it is £500 or £50 waiver. I explained this to the host and air bnb but both were very unhelpful and useless when it came to some sort of a resolution even though screenshots were provided.. nevertheless I had the pay the higher amount, it was either that or cancel the weekend break

The space was suitable for a group of 4 and in a good spot. However, dealing with the company MyGetaways was not ideal. When the neighbors were screaming/singing karaoke at midnight they apologized and said it was not something they could help with. Additionally, there were hidden fees for minor issues that were required to be paid before being allowed back in (Airbnb luckily refunded) and an already broken couch that they did not offer to fix along with a bit of black mold in the shower. The people doing the responding were quick and seemed to care themselves, but they were working within poor company policies that did not make them entirely helpful. Overall, it was a good spot and in theory, I would suggest the place, but it is not worth dealing with MyGetaways.

Firstly the unexpected damage and noise fee after paying already a lot for 19hrs of an apartment. The hairdryer nearly exploded In my hand when I turned it on. The neighbours next door decided to have a party until 3am and when we checked out at 11am they shouted abuse at us from the window to be quiet. No soap or shampoo in the bathrooms, which would have been nice. Mould below the velux which was situated above where my daughter was supposed to sleep, as it has obviously been leaking for a long time. The key didn’t work even after watching the video. After waiting outside for half an hour there was no other way of entry even from the inside with the button. Luckily we asked the neighbour and they tried our key from the inside and they couldn’t get it to work, they then went inside to get there’s and it worked straight away.

The place is in a great location and the gate made it feel very secure. Inside it was clean and the design was modern and fresh. The only thing that comes to mind is that it would be great to have enough lounge seating to match the number of beds (even if it is just a beanbag!) as in a group of five someone always had to sit on the floor.

Lovely AirBnB! It’s in the perfect location if you’re interested in independent shops and there are so many coffee shops nearby too. Despite this though it’s quiet and calm which is especially nice in the morning! The house itself was really nice also. Nice and clean with bright colours, it was very welcoming. One minor point is that the neighbours complained that we were walking up the stairs too loud when we arrived, so just be cautious of that if you have kids. Other than that we had no issues and a great stay, would recommend 😁

This was an excellent place to stay for 4 friends for a fun few days in Brighton. The best thing is the location- in the heart of the lanes but surprisingly quiet. Comfy beds, good shower, clean, key box for easy access and key sharing if you aren’t all coming and going at the same time. Highly recommend.

Amazing location in the heart of the north Laines. Bakery opposite for delicious coffee and croissants. Felt safe and secure as the mews is locked at night. Lovely and quiet. Property had all we needed and the hosts were quick to sort any small issues we had (which was literally a broken chair and no batteries in the remote). Super clean and lovely fresh soft bedding and towels. Would def stay here again. Thanks guys

We were a group of 6 girls staying here for a weekend away, the check in process was fab because it was quick and easy and didn’t have to be there at an exact time to meet anyone, the location was really good with no more of a 20 min walk to any place in town, perfect for nights out in brighton because you don’t need to get taxis, overall, a great place, very clean, amazing location and great value.

We stayed one night and the flat was clean and well equipped. The location is great! Short walks to most things to do. If going in big groups please expect to be told to keep even basic conversation noise levels down. Apart from that a great stay! Definitely recommended!

A really great location in the North Laines of Brighton. Clean appartment and good facilities. We would recommend 4 adults as maximum occupancy as Appartment is quite small and very small bathroom for any more than 4. We were 4 adult sized people and we found it to be very small for our group but it was in very hot weather. Spiral staircases although lovely are steep and difficult when needing toilet in the night. I am 50 and 3 teens so maybe we just needed more space and privacy but location really is great and clean appartment.

The mews house was excellent - located in a superb position just off the North Laines, right in the heart of Brighton. It was bright and cheerful, and very modern and clean. My family and I used it as a base for a wonderful weekend in Brighton. The host was very organised, and a courtesy call after we checked-in made us feel welcome.
