The day when I'm about to depart to Dubai (I have a 20hr flight), I received a call from the co-host David that this apartment is not available due to Covid from the previous tenant and he has another apartment which is NO WHERE close to Dubai Creek. I asked him if there is another apartment he showed me another one. I decided on the 2nd one, he said it will be $496 extra. I don't know why do I need to pay extra when I'm not the one requesting for a replacement. I had no choice but to pick the first replacement he showed me. First, check-in was a nightmare. The badge provided only work for building access and not parking access. for two days in a row I was told I will get a parking badge and came to the point I just said forget it. The apartment itself, there was water stain in the ceiling, the fridge is not cold enough. My milk and eggs got spoiled quick. The bed was real hard, it was like sleeping in bare concrete floor. It looks like this is not the first time they inform customer this particular apartment is not available. I have a feeling they overbooked or this is a scam.

It's pretty hard for me to rate an apartment as I never saw it. The host messaged me the night of my check-in and said that he can' t check us in. He proposed two alternatives both of which were not even close to the one we rented in the first place. We almost agreed to one of those, because we had an infant on hands and it seemed tiresome to search for an alternative accommodation last minute, but them host all of a sudden remembered that the building is new, so there's still no gas in the kitchen and no wi-fi in the apartment. Pretty great when you have to cook for your child and work from home
