The space
Apartment Le Bouchet is located 10 mins walk from the centre of Le Grand Bornand on the road going up to the Chinaillon,10 mins up the road. This spacious 5 bed duplex apt can sleep up to 12 people. It is one of 5 apts in Everest building which used to be a small family hotel.Beautifully renovated with wooden cladding throughout, it has large South facing bay windows looking out towards the surrounding mountains & the village spire.
Access to the apt is on the 1st floor where 4 bedrooms are located: a twin bedroom with an en suite shower and sink, another with a set of bunks (+ an extra pull out mattress), a double en suite with toilet and another twin bedroom. There is a bathroom, closet and toilet and and on the landing you have a large boot warmer rack for ski shoes etc. The bedrooms give access to a south-facing balcony, with an awesome view of the Grand Bornand village and the Aravis mountains!! Stairs lead down to the main floor which has the spacious living, dining area and fully equiped kitchen A separate toilet and extra seating area lead to the 5 th bedroom which has twin beds, a set of bunks and an ensuite shower room, sink and toilet.
The sitting room is comfortable with 3 large sofas, has a large flat screen TV, DVD player, sound system, and wifi.
The kitchen is fully equipped with micro-wave, dish-washer, induction plates. A small cupboard is found next to the kitchen with washing machine and dryer.
A terrace and garden are accessible through the living room.
At the foot of the Everest there is a bus stop, where you can either take a shuttle going down to the village or up to the Chinaillon and the walking trails located a 10 min ride away!
The rental rate includes the full provision of bedlinen and towels (sheets, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels etc) and beds will be made up on your arrival! A light clean is also included at the end of your stay however we do expect the property to be left clear and tidy to avoid any surprises (beds stripped, rubbish removed, dishwasher emptied, bathrooms and kitchen left clears etc)!

We loved this place which has a great view of the Aravis mountains and is perfectly equipped for a large group: the rooms are very comfortable, the kitchen contains everything you need, everything is perfectly clean. We keep this place in our little papers for a possible return to the area.

David and his team have always been responsive to our questions. When we arrived we were entitled to many recommendations to fully enjoy the premises. The very positive point and the bus stop literally in front of the chalet which allows you to take a bus that arrives at the foot of the slopes.

Accommodation as advertised, large bright living room. Clean and functional accommodation for 3 families with kids. The only downside is the fridge, which is at the end of its life, it is urgent to plan for its replacement! Thank you for your responsiveness in our requests, Listing to recommend++
