The space

Nestled along the quiet, winding roads of Simon’s Town, this classic coastal home offers a peaceful space filled with old charm. Designed for those seeking a laid-back and mature atmosphere, it’s a place where time slows down, and the views of False Bay take center stage. From the private balcony, the upper terrace, or even your bed, you’ll wake to ocean views & gorgeous sunrises that set the tone for calm and restful days.

Inside, the home features two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms (separate, not ensuite), making it an ideal choice for couples or small families. The open-plan kitchen and lounge are filled with natural light, offering a warm, airy space for morning coffee or relaxed evenings. Just off the kitchen, you’ll find a sheltered back "stoep": perfect for a quiet braai, tucked away from the sea breeze.

Step outside to enjoy the indigenous garden and the upper terrace, where you can roll out a yoga mat at sunrise, take a gentle stroll among the plants, or sip wine in the afternoon while watching the ever-changing activity of the bay.

🌿 Good to Know

Baboons roam the area: a unique part of the ecosystem. Please keep windows and doors closed when unattended. The local baboon monitoring team does a great job of keeping them moving along.

Grocery delivery apps available: Woolworths Dash, Pick n Pay ASAP.

The Simon's Town train station is a mere 10 minute walk away and the new blue train can take you through Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James, Muizenberg and all the way to town. It's safe and clean and highly recommended. Please check the schedules online. (Google MetroRail Southern Line schedule)

This is a peaceful neighbourhood surrounded by nature, so we kindly ask guests to keep noise levels down.

Admin is boring but we do require out guests to go through a verification process with Truvi. This is some legislation that we have to follow. They will send you an SMS or email.

Guest access

Guests have access to the whole property except the garage which is used for the owners personal belongings as well as a small wooden house at the top of the property for owner belongings.

Other things to note

- off Street parking in a driveway (open) but there is a 24/7 monitored security system and active neighbourhood watch.

- There are baboons in the area and some of the windows are covered with baboon proof bars. Please note that you need to keep the doors and windows closed when you are not in the house or near vicinity. Baboons are sneaky and they will get in.

- Please note that there is a small "Wendy house" located at the top back of the property and barely visible unless you wonder through the gardens. This hut is used for owner storage.

- there is a gardener that comes through twice a month to take care of the indigenous garden. We will let you know when he is coming in

- there is a lady that comes in weekly to fill the bird baths for our beautiful birds that frequent the property. We will let you know when she is coming in.

- a weekly clean and linen change is included for stays of over 7 nights
