GROCERY SHOPPING
We recommend doing your big grocery shop in Winterton (the closest town about 35 minutes away). There is a Spar and an OK. Otherwise between Monday and Friday you can also buy groceries at Hillbillies just down the road (3km away) at the Berg Air Centre. Hillbillies is great for fresh items. Cedarwood Shopping Centre has a small grocery store that has most of the basic essentials (this is about 2km from the property). Ice can be purchased at the garage just down the road (Shiptech), however there is a small ice machine at the property.

LOADSHEDDING
This property is off the grid and uses solar power. Guests are therefore advised to use the power responsibly during their stay esp. when it is overcast or at night when power is solely reliant on the batteries.

If you go for a walk on the farm, please note that the owner's friendly dogs may come say 'Hi' :)

DAM
There are two dams on the property. The larger dam which is ideal for swimming currently has a leak, so swimming is only possible in summer and is done at your own risk.

RULES
Keep noise to a reasonable level especially past 10pm.
No smoking inside the property.
Garage is for private use.
Close all windows and lock all doors before leaving the property.
