Had an incredible weekend at Buffalo Hill’s. The mountains and animal life were the absolute highlights of the trip. The farmhouse was clean and comfortable.

This listing is a gem. I booked it for a small family get together. Nicole was extremely helpful and friendly. The house is big and has several areas to relax in. There were plenty of thoughtful flower arrangements from the garden and surrounds. A gentlemen named Bafana came twice a day to clean the kitchen and set up the various fireplaces. He is marvelous. I’m delighted having discovered this place and hope that many more people will have the same experience there.

The house was spacious. We enjoyed the walks. We spent some time at the dam. Was relaxing and peaceful. The road has to be negotiated very carefully if you don't have aS U V.

We had an amazing stay at Buffalo Hills Game Reserve. The fishing was enjoyable, and the scenery was absolutely stunning – we ended up taking tons of photos! The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It had a cozy feel thanks to the fireplace, electric blankets, and panel heaters in the bathrooms – perfect for those cooler nights. Plus, there was plenty of firewood provided, which was a big bonus. A special mention to the caretaker, Bafana – he was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the right comforts!

A wonderful place for friends from afar to gather. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back. Lots of space for kids to run around and beautiful surroundings.

We spent two nights in this peaceful retreat. The place is beautiful and relaxing. Great for hiking. The house is well-equipped and very clean. The nice surprise was the eggs from the chicken coop offered by Nicole... :-) excellent... I also thank Nicole for her warm welcome and her speed in answering my questions. We'll be happy to go back. I would highly recommend it.

The Farmhouse is a character-filled, spacious and comfortable spot for quiet getaways in a truly beautiful part of the country. The hosts are friendly and responsive, and kept fireplaces clean and well-stocked, something especially appreciated in the colder evenings. Walks up to the base of the mountain are recommended for some spectacular views. Access to the property is by about 15km of a dirt road that is quite stony in parts and that requires careful navigation if you have a lower-slung vehicle, but is very manageable regardless.

A gem of a find! We had an incredible time on the Farmhouse with a family of 11. Perfect for relaxing, hiking, children. We loved the lookout viewpoint. Very comfortable and well equipped house for a weekend away. Will definitely be back!

Truly a gem. Complete peace & tranquility. Loved everything about it. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the busyness of every day life & unwind. Rustic with a modern touch. Great for large family gatherings. Will definitely be back ❣️

Perfect location to be with loved ones , to be away from the busyness of the city . What you see on the pictures is exactly what you’ll find there , if not more . The host is extremely proactive , she was liaising with me before I left up until, I got to her apartment . Her seasoned staff were nothing short of helpful. Definitely coming back , and for a longer stay this time round 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

We had a family get together with 12 people! The house is spacious with enough rooms and beds. It’s peaceful and allowed us to have an amazing time together, far away from the hustle and busyness of the city! The hosts were extremely responsive and sorted out a couple of minor issues with urgency! Very memorable!

Great farm stay, with great view. Only negative is that you must have a 4x4 vehicle, especially when it is raining as it is 15km mud drive. Very friendly hosts.
