This beautiful and stylish mid-century bungalow is situated in the heart of Armstrong's Point, Winnipeg's first Heritage Conservation District. The newly renovated home is fully equipped, calm and incredibly comfortable. It is a perfect space for business travellers, vacationers or couples. Close to the airport and downtown, it is also steps away from restaurants and shopping. Known for its tree canopy, this peninsula in the bend of the river is a favorite with runners, cyclists and walkers.

The space

The property is located very centrally in the city of Winnipeg, with easy access to all activities, shopping and events. The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area - a highly sought after place to live.

Guest access

Parking is outdoors, on the long driveway leading to the front steps. Guests have access to the entire home. Entry is keyless and the home is fully alarmed. There is an information guide on each level of the home containing details about how things work throughout.

Other things to note

1. The entire home is available for minimum 7 night stays.
2. This is not a party home but a quiet, private place to stay while you are in Winnipeg on business, for work, or visiting family and friends.

Sandra was an incredible host and we feel really lucky that she shared her home with us. We stayed for almost 2 months and the house ended up feeling very much like home away from home. The house is luxurious, the kitchen has everything a chef needs, the rooms comfortable and the bathrooms spa like! The location is very central. 5 min drive to the Forks, downtown, Osborne Village, any almost anything you'd need. Also walking distance to cute stores and coffee shops. Armstrong Point is central, but the neighbourhood is quiet and private! Beyond the house itself, Sandra went above and beyond to make sure that we felt comfortable and taken care of. She was very communicative, giving us a heads up when someone would be coming to shovel snow. She also arranged so that we had a warm lovely meal waiting for us when we arrived after a long road trip! We feel so lucky to stay at this Airbnb and would definitely return. Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay!!

Sandra's house has been an excellent home-away-from-home for us in Winnipeg. It's well appointed, with everything we've needed for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable, linens are excellent, and the house was recently remodeled with thoughtful touches throughout. Sandra has also been an excellent host — extremely communicative, and thoughtful. 10/10 stay, no notes!
