My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Zen Bungalow- the pictures do not do justice! It is absolutely beautiful with luxurious amenities! The check in process was very easy. Sandra, the host, gave clear and easy instructions. She was very responsive and I felt like she went out of her way to make us feel right at home. We let her know we would arrive late, and she made sure to leave the outside light on for us. We also had a last-minute accommodation request once we were there and Sandra provided it to us very quickly. From the sauna to the jetted bathtub, to the heated bathroom floors, the work out area, to the beautiful decor, and I cannot forget the comfortable bed-we will be back! I also cannot forget the little touches Sandra did like the small biscuits she left from her small village for us (which were delicious with our coffee), the sparkling waters and creamer in the fridge- this is one of my favorite places to stay!

We had such a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. The sauna was definitely one of our favorite features and the bathroom was beautiful, spacious, and had excellent lighting, which was a nice touch. Sandra was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had, checked in to make sure everything was going well, and provided thoughtful recommendations for things to do and places to visit in the area. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

I have stayed in a lot of airbnbs over the years and between this home itself and the thoughtful preparations and clear communication from the host. Sandra, this Zen Bungalow has been my favorite Airbnb stay to date! The bed was ultra comfortable. there was a large bathtub with Jets and thoughtful touches like a bar of boutique, soap, bath salts and bubble bath. the lights were adjustable for dimness and brightness and the Wi-Fi was fast. the kitchen was fully stocked even though I didn't use it because I was only there 2 days, it's a place I would have loved to stay for a week or more because it felt like a cozy clean home. I really liked the mini gym and the sauna. there were discreet instructions everywhere of how to operate the bathtub, shower, sauna and Wi-Fi. Additionally, Sandra provided me with a list of recommendations in the area for restaurants and we responded quickly to any questions I had. Her place is the gold star of how Airbnb should be equipped and operated.

The bungalow was very cosy, clean and fully stocked. Sandra’s attention to detail was commendable e.g. she even had umbrellas in the maintenance room for that unpredictable Winnipeg weather which came in handy for us, the 3-in- 1 microwave-grill and oven, the welcome chocolates on the pillows, the extra blankets in the lounge, the king size extra comfortable bed, the soothing welcome music playing on the speaker, the sizeable bathtub with clear instructions on use and the sauna which we unfortunately did not have time to use.

An absolutely top-notch AirBnB experience! The suite is incredible for its amenities, location, decor, everything! It's on a very beautiful and quiet street, and yet is walkable to lively areas with good restaurants & pubs. The lighting indoors is bright and adjustable, and the fireplace that can be run with or without heat is a lovely touch. We loved the gym! My husband used it daily. The IR sauna, along with the bathroom's in-floor heating, large spa tub, and large rain head shower made it feel like we were living in a spa. Absolutely wonderful and relaxing! We also used the washer/dryer, borrowed an umbrella, asked for & received very specific restaurant recommendations (which were perfect!), and had questions pretty much daily that Sandra answered quickly and cheerfully. Sandra is an incredible host with clear, friendly, fast & helpful communication. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Winnipeg, and will be recommending this place to everyone!!

Best Airbnb in Winnipeg I have stayed in. Sandra was very pleasant, responsive and a joy to meet. The space exceeded my expectations. Felt very welcoming, clean and had everything I could have ever needed including laundry and work out equipment which was a very big bonus for me. I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and I never book basement suites. This place completely changed my mind on them. This is honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at when it comes to comfort and amenities. Everything is incredibly well thought out, high quality, and comfortable. The bed was so cozy, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the sauna was amazing. The gym area was a huge bonus for me. The location was also fantastic…beautiful homes, gorgeous yards, and the area felt very safe, clean, and welcoming. We were in Winnipeg for my daughter’s hockey tournament, and having both a kitchen and workout space was really important to me so I could stay on track with healthy eating and exercise while away from home. Sandra was incredibly responsive and helpful, and every detail you could think of was already organized and printed for guests. You can tell a lot of care went into this rental. I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Sandra’s place for 5 nights while in Winnipeg and will most certainly be back again. Sandra’s place is absolutely gorgeous and is in a great location. There are many great stores/restaurants within walking or short drive distance. The suite had everything we needed for our stay and more! We especially liked the jetted bathtub and sauna. It was nice to come back to the suite after a long day and be able to relax with these additional amenities. Sandra was a great host and provided us with several recommendations for restaurants and recreational activities. Sandra was responsive to any questions we had and was a pleasure to meet- she has a lovely demeanour and an infectious smile. Thank you so much for helping to make our trip to Winnipeg great- we will most certainly be back.

Sandra’s place was absolutely perfect!! It was exactly as described, spacious, cosy and clean. Communication was fast and easy, Sandra gave us so many helpful suggestions and was such a sweetheart making sure we had everything we need for a great stay. There is an awesome welcome binder that tells you everything you need to know about the property, amenities and the neighbourhood and an entire basket of leaflets with local menus and sites. The Sauna and giant bathtub are amazing, the perfect way to unwind and get toasty after walking around in the Winnipeg snow. The Airbnb is also only a 5 minute walk from a great coffee shop called Thom Bargens (the peppermint mocha is a personal fave), a diner called The Nook if you want no fuss breakfast and huge portions and Shorty’s Pizza which we discovered has a banana pudding that might be THE best desert we’ve ever had!! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great stay in Winnipeg.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful space or the lovely host! Everything was absolutely perfect and we had such a relaxing time. Immaculately clean and very well organized. Sandra really thought of every little detail. Bed was super cozy, lots of extra blankets, pillows, etc. and the bathroom felt like a spa! Beautiful neighbourhood too. This will definitely be our go-to spot next time we’re in Winnipeg again. One of the absolute best Airbnbs I’ve EVER stayed in! 5 stars across the board!! Thank you for everything Sandra! :)

Sandra’s Place exceeded our expectations in every way. It had the most amenities we have ever had available to us while at an Airbnb. Much thought had gone into the selection of furnishings, linens, lighting, kitchen items, artwork, and provided such a comfortable and restful stay. We enjoyed the rain shower and huge whirlpool tub. There was a room with exercise equipment, yoga mats, weights and even a sauna. We loved turning on the fireplace and dimming all the lights when we watched the huge TV on the reclining sectional sofa. This Zen bungalow was in an historic neighborhood, and Sandra included a walking tour map in her guest info binder. It was great to walk the neighborhood and learn about all the old mansions. Sandra communicated with us immediately upon arrival and during our stay gave us excellent tips for dining! Because she knew we were celebrating our anniversary, we found a bottle of champagne in the fridge and some special Winnipeg treats. We hope to return!

We stayed at Sandra’s place for a few days during our trip to Winnipeg. It’s a modern, well-equipped place with amenities like an en-suite gym and sauna. The place is spotless and has everything we needed during our stay. It’s conveniently located near downtown, and most attractions are just a short drive away. There are also many restaurants and shops within a 10-minute drive. We would recommend the place without any reservations.

The place was beautiful, clean and cozy! Bed was super comfortable! Exactly as described, host was very responsive, and had great communication. I loved the area, as there is lots of great spots for food, drinks and entertainment within walking distance! I also loved the small touches such as little snacks and beverages. A home away from home in Winnipeg. The space was exactly as described, incredibly comfortable and clean, with wonderful amenities. The neighborhood is lovely and walkable, plus Sandra provided great local recommendations within walking distance in West Broadway and Wolseley. Sandra went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and was incredibly communicative and helpful, not to mention very kind. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great stay in Winnipeg in a cool neighborhood with lots to do. 10/10.

We have stayed in Airbnb’s, hotels, hostels, and resorts all over the world and this has by far been our favorite accommodation! Sandra’s attention to detail and care for the guest experience really elevates this property. The unit was immaculately clean and completely stocked with anything we might need. If you’re on the fence, just do it! This place was amazing, it’s such an efficient use of space! I spent a week here and had a great experience spending time with my son. Furthermore, I was able to work comfortably, and lastly the sauna/workout space were great touches, that indeed lead to some great sleep. Lastly, Sandra is an amazing hose who truly wants you to have a great experience! Excited to come back!

The basement unit is beautifully designed and serene!! I was in town with my partner for meetings and was super busy but found it a great respite for the evenings. As architects we were very impressed by the quality of design and finishes. I’ve never had an AirBnb with its own gym space, sauna, and amazing tub!! The place was comfortable, neat, has great lighting and amenities, and was very calming and pleasant. And Sandra was very proactive, accessible, and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!!

Sandra and Randy's guest suite is phenomenal! It feels like a healing and inspiring summer home in Scandinavia. The bed is celestially comfortable, the Wifi is speedy, the kaleidoscopic fireplace warms up the space fast, the bathroom is luxurious with soothing soft water, the kitchen is opulent, the living room is a peaceful nest, the exercise machines and the sauna are inviting, and every corner is perfectly clean. Sandra is kind, wise, generous, and fun! She has an intuitive gift for knowing what guests need, and she sprinkled my stay with beautiful surprises :-) Randy is equally charming and energetic! Oh, and the neighbourhood? Utopian!

My stay with Sandra at the Zen Bungalow was exquisite. The place was absolutely spotless! The whole experience was relaxing. My favourite thing was the huge, jetted tub. The shower was also enjoyable with the big rainfall head. The sauna was another favourite. There were Bluetooth speakers inside to enhance the experience. I felt complete peace and relaxed. The fireplace created a sense of warmth and comfort while watching shows. The water rowing machine was such a fun workout. The location was peaceful I was able to easily walk to see a show at the Handsome Daughter. In the morning I walked to Thom Bargan Cafe and Hudson Bagels. Overall, this was the best airbnb experience I have ever had. I would recommend anyone to come stay here for a relaxing time. I will definitely be coming back. A huge thanks to Sandra for making the best experience possible!

The Zen Bungalow is one of the nicest and cleanest Air BNBs we have stayed at. It was a quiet place to relax after several busy days In Winnipeg. Honestly, you have your own personal spa with soaker tub, rainfall shower and infrared sauna, the decor is beautiful and everything is super cozy….it will be hard to leave the suite! It feels like the home is in its own private park-like neighbourhood with a rich history, yet only minutes drive to the downtown area, the Forks or so many other attractions in Winnipeg. Super close to U of W! The hosts are super friendly and thoughtful, providing information about local hidden gems to visit, bakeries, restaurants and tips about the area. Sandra dropped off garden tomatoes and fresh scones for breakfast, coffee cream and bubbly spritzers were in the fridge upon arrival, unlimited herbs outside the entryway. Highly recommend! And I hope it is always available when we return to Winnipeg.

Wonderful relaxing stay! Very spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Kitchen had everything. Cozy living room. The tub was my favourite! Comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Would definitely recommend. The space had everything we needed & more! Sandra was a great host as well. Great communication and even surprised us with a bottle of wine & snacks after our long 12 hour drive. We’d definitely be back.

Sandra’s place was beyond my expectations. This was our first time in Canada, and we were extremely satisfied! The bungalow was very clean, the bed was extremely cozy and comfortable, and the bathtub was relaxing- this was probably the best spot we have ever stayed in! Sandra gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and even surprised us with some wine to celebrate a birthday. The next time we are in the area, we are going to rebook! I would highly recommend staying here, you will be impressed.

This zen space was exactly what was needed whilst visiting the city for business. Definitely made use of the infrared sauna and the jet tub! We can honestly say that this was one of the best airbnb's we have stayed in. High quality amenities, attention to detail and above all Sandra's kindness and thoughtfulness as a host. I was late to arrive due to a delayed flight, tired and was too late to go grocery shop. I had been left a lovely salad, focaccia, breakfast bannock all from local stores. I couldn't have been more appreciative! 💯 would recommend this space, truly lovely. Thank you Sandra and Randell!

If I could rate this a 10/10 I would! Sandra is so kind; the place is stunning, I wish I can live there! :P I will most certainly be booking this place again when I return to Winnipeg.
