As we was in town for Ironman Cascais, it suited our needs .Walk able distance to Metro and station (Cais Do Sodre) to Cascais. Joao and Amos was very helpfull.

The house is spacious and bright with large windows, and I appreciated the dark wooden shutters that kept the bedrooms nicely dark. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows could be improved. The home felt very safe, quiet, and calm. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to several lovely neighborhoods, and the nearby park was fantastic for our 3 yo. However, the couch in the main room is more like a poorly padded futon and uncomfortable to sit on. More importantly, the host only informed us a day before check-in about recent water damage in the master bedroom wall. The wall paint was peeling, there were brown stains, and the wall was still moist. This was concerning, especially since we booked the unit specifically for the king-sized bed in that room so my toddler could sleep with us.The host suggested moving to a different bedroom with twin beds, but that didn’t work for us as we needed the main bedroom setup. I wish the issue had been disclosed earlier.

Amazing place in a great location especially with our son who was able to play around the garden and the playroom and also in Jardim da Estrela just a couple of minutes walk outside. Highly recommended!

Very charming accommodation nearby Jardim Estrela provided by Joao. He was very attentive and open to help whenever needed. The apartment is quite big and has a nice garden to sit outside. Ideal for families especially given the proximity to Jardim Estrela and the availability of toys and kids equipment. The apartment is not new but we feel this was reflected in the price for the overnight stays. Would definitely come back to stay here again with our kids!

The place is well located and it is a great neighborhood for families with kids - we have stayed on this neighborhood before and it is a favorite in lisbon. The house is spacious and has a dedicated spot for kids with plenty of toys. It looks like they have been hosting a lot and the place needs to be closed to fix some big items, like the moldy wall in the upstairs bedroom. Although the weather is warm now and it looks dry, if I knew in advance, I would have preferred to stay in a place mold free. The upstairs couch is broken and even if they came to get it fixed, one of us fell once when sitting down. Some other little things were broken and they came to fix as soon as we asked, but again, the place has bigger issues that need to be addressed. The hosts are kind and helpful and overall it was a pleasant stay.

We had a great time at Joaos place. A huge space with kids playroom and garden for our little one to run around. Very well connected via tram or Uber and not too far to walk to the city center. We loved the place and would happily visit Lisbon and stay at Joaos place again.

fantastic Stay in Lisbon at Joaos. If you have kids this house is perfect. has a play room, great local park, 28 Tram, and a range of nice restaurants both very local and a but further away.

João was the best host I've ever had. He was very responsive, helpful, and went over and above to ensure we had a great trip. He recommended the best beach for kids, brought us beach towels, and even helped us get a babysitter. Fantastic host! Apartment was in a great location. Felt safe, great neighborhood, walkable. worth noticing that Lisbon is hilly and the apartment is up a decent hill from the main part of the neighborhood.

Wonderful house and Great host. Replied very quickly and helped us with everything that’s needed. We stayed for a week so naturally some small things came up but they were always quickly and well addressed. Super professionally managed and highly recommended. The outside area super nice that is enough space for a big family or even bigger groups - we stayed there was two kids and it was plenty of space. The area is very nice that is a fantastic Park coffee shops restaurants. Five stars in every category!!

The apartment is very well located, with a very interesting layout of rooms and a nice garden area. Although the host warned, there is moisture in the apartment. For allergy sufferers and sensitive people to consider :). If it wasn't for that, it would be all positive.

We thought it was a very enjoyable stay. Especially with children an ideal place. Close to a nice park with playgrounds, kiosk and restaurants. We felt at home in the property. The host was very friendly and helpful. The house is like the pictures. Also the garden, we hoped that the children could play on the "lawn" but that could not because there were super high weeds. The children's bedroom is downstairs and from the parents upstairs. That took some getting used to when we arrived but in the end everyone slept well. We would consider going back again when we are back in Lisbon.

We loved our time in Lisbon and even extended our Lisbon stay by a night at this wonderful Airbnb! 🌞 Joao and his team were super kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The apartment looks just like the photos — if not more spacious in person. We were lucky with sunny weather and spent a relaxing morning in the beautiful garden 🌿. Even though we have visited Lisbon before, we have never stayed in a place with a private garden — a real hidden gem 🌸. The Estrela neighbourhood is one of our favourites. It has an authentic, laid-back vibe, is picturesque and peaceful, yet close to everything. Green Street nearby has great dining options, and having easy access to Tram 28 without the queues was a big bonus 🚋. Highly recommend — would love to stay again! ✨

A perfect stay – peaceful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches This home exceeded expectations in every way. The beds were incredibly comfortable with hotel-quality linen that made for a restful night’s sleep – such a treat after long work days. The garden was a beautiful, tranquil space where I loved starting my mornings with a coffee. Although I was travelling for business and did not use it myself, I noticed the charming playroom – clearly designed with care and perfect for little explorers. The attention to detail throughout the home shows how much the host cares about creating a warm and welcoming space for all types of guests. The host was wonderful – kind, responsive, and thoughtful from start to finish. I will absolutely be coming back, next time with my family.

It was certainly humid, especially downstairs and what helped were the heaters at night and the window opening during the day. The upper bedroom door does not close or open properly, as it is stuck along the floor, which is a sign of humidity. Also, the top sofa was too uncomfortable or was too worn out. It's a very nice place, but I would recommend at least a new sofa upstairs and arrange the bedroom door and moisture that might not be a problem in the summer should be analyzed. Although I requested a receipt, I have not received it yet, which is hurting me a lot.
