We had a great time in Alexander's flat. The location was a good base for exploring Lisbon and also well connected to public transport. The flat was nice and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The check-in was super friendly and welcoming. Our contact person was always available and very helpful. He even spoke German to us. ☺️ The immediate area is really very lively, and stays that way until late in the evening. Therefore, it can be noisy with the windows open. There are more men than usual on the street, but we never felt unsafe.

Everything was fine, except for the run-down neighbourhood and the noise from the tenants upstairs, which prevented us from sleeping between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. Close to everything: the metro, Tram 28, restaurants, rooftop.

The flat is on a very narrow street full of strange men. Even in broad daylight, it's very unpleasant. Very little security. I don't recommend it, especially if you're going with children. The host initially showed some willingness to help, but then things changed. We agreed to cancel the booking and, if we rented it again, they would refund the money (at least for the nights that it was rented again)... They managed to rent it out and two weeks later we still haven't received anything. With three children, we had to look for something for the four nights we'd booked, so we ended up paying twice for the accommodation and they charged us twice...

The apartment was superbly equipped, looked exactly like the pictures, and we had a very nice stay. The area was a bit noisy, but the windows are very soundproof, so you could sleep well. Communication with the host was great, and check-in and check-out went very smoothly. The Host is super nice and gives a lot of tips and recommendations. We had nothing to complain about, and overall we liked it very much :-)

It was a very nice stay for us as a family, and it is a superbly equipped apartment with very nice and stylish furniture. The beds were very comfortable, and it was very clean! We received age-appropriate toys and books in our language. All in all, a very nice apartment and recommended.

Although there was a slight miscommunication with check in, we managed to get into the property and the apartment was lovely and just as described. I personally thought the location was convenient and vibrant but good to do research before as it may not be as suitable for families! Home was very clean and checkout was easy and flexible! Would recommend.

An absolutely fantastic host 👏👏 Responds quickly to questions; is keen to ensure that we have a pleasant stay. Wrote to us several times during our stay to ask if there was anything they could help with. When we had a problem with a payment, we received help straight away. So we would highly recommend Lisbon and the property; we had a wonderful few days 🌞

The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need during the stay. We loved the small terrace with the beanbag. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and the kitchen is well equipped. Alexander’s team was very responsive and helpful. The only thing is that the neighborhood is very noisy indeed.

Very nice place to stay. It exceeded our expectations. The windows are very well insulated, and the bedrooms can be darkened perfectly. The furnishings are very tasteful. The flat has good public transport links. On the street, especially in the evening, it was almost exclusively men who were out and about, which didn't seem very Portuguese to me. However, it's a very short walk from the underground station, and we always felt safe.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay! Everything was clean and Alexander and his team were incredibly responsive. The location was on a very busy street which was not ideal for us however it was very close to a subway station and clean and safe parking garage which was ideal. We would definitely stay again!

We had a few lovely sunny days visiting Lisbon. The apartment was very good, well stocked, clean and with comfortable beds. The windows have excellent blackout shutters. We didn’t need the ac or heating so can’t comment. The walls are a little thin so you can hear other apartments movement. We used ear plugs and this helped. The outdoor terrace is a nice bonus. Fernando met us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful with excursion suggestions. Our only downside was the area was too noisy and didn’t feel appropriate for us (family with 2 kids). Lots of people hanging around and some evidence of drug taking (and a resulting brief street fight). That said we didn’t feel particularly unsafe, more just would have preferred for our kids not to see it. The area probably more suited to groups of friends or couples. It’s very central so easy to get to everywhere from.

We had a great time with our 2 and 4 year old daughters. The location is ideal for visiting the city on foot or by tram (line 28 to 2 minutes walk) or by metro (2-minute walk). The apartment was very clean and as advertised. A big thank you to João and Tomas for their messages, their advice, their last-minute help to organize our departure and their sympathy, as well as for the birthday cake and bottle left for my spouse's surprise birthday. We already know where to stay if we return to Lisbon 😁 Thanks again to João and Tomas
