-Solar has been installed for constant power along with a gas cooker as well as an induction hot plate and electric oven. Should there be a power outage in the area Air conditioners, pool heater and oven will not work.
- TV is a Smart TV with a Media hub for Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, DSTV stream, all for your own account, just bring your log in details.
-Heating from air-conditioning is available up and downstairs, there are air conditioners upstairs and down stairs.
-Non-Smoking home including vaping and hubbly bubbly, both inside and out (including the pool and all outside balconies).
-No Matric Rage student bookings allowed
-There is a pool net but children must be strictly watched at all times.
- Please request if you want pool net on, we usually keep it off.
- No glass items around the pool area or in the pool please
- Can swim all year round as the pool can be warmed and lovely for those chilly Winter months, please allow for evaporation of heat.
Please Note:
1. For security reasons a copy of all 10 guests ID/Passport documents to be emailed before admission to property, as well as vehicle registrations, (4 cars max are allowed in the allocated parking for the unit).
2. No loud parties as this is a small complex with neighbours all around you and the body corporate is strict. A hefty fine of R1000 per person for loud noise and unruly behavior.
Zandile is available at an extra cost of R300 for a Saturday paid directly to her by yourselves but please let me know so I can arrange on your behalf. There is no cleaning service available on public holidays or Sundays unless by special request and will be charged accordingly.

Guests use the whole space in the unit, access to the beach is 2 minutes walk down the driveway in the complex, where guests will share with other beach goers and locals.Other things to note

It was a beautiful place to make special memories with our family. We had family over from the UK and Cape Town and it was a perfect setting that suited everyone including our kids. The hosts accommodated us with our requests and they responded timeously. Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous accommodation - right at a stunning beach with great views and a private pool! I wish I could stay there forever - comfy couches and beds, fully stocked kitchen with extra amenities that make settling in so easy. Almost too good to share! The hosts are super responsive and so friendly - I've already booked another trip.

This is a beautiful family home a thrown stone away from the beach. We were a party of 8 that met to celebrate a 70th birthday and there was ample space for us all … beautifully decorated bedrooms and plenty bathrooms for us all to use. Kitchen was well equipped with cutlery and sufficient plates/glasses and all appliances one might need. The views from some of the rooms and the patio are stunning and it’s a well lit and airy home that’s been maintained very well. It is a quieter side of Durban with not much around if you’re looking to explore on foot but if you’re looking for a family holiday to spend time together in a beautiful family home with beautiful views this is the place ! Thanks to the lovely housekeeper Zandile who is so pleasant and cooperative and of course the wonderful hosts Leo & Kerry who were always available for comms a super easy check-in process. Thanks for the lovely shortbread too - was a super kind and warm touch from the hosts!

Please consult the House Rules Guide in the Unit. Please love this place like we do, Look after it like your own. PARTIES and LOUD MUSIC: This unit is not suitable for parties of any kind, it has been rented out for the sole purpose of families and friends to quietly enjoy a relaxing holiday. We want you to have a good time but as neighbours you are in close proximity, noise levels are to be kept to a minimum between 10pm and 9am and must be strictly adhered to as this is a complex. First warning will be R1000 per person, and there after security will be called should the noise persist. NO LOUD MUSIC IS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME. Should any complaints be made we will have you removed by Security immediately and you will be reported to Airbnb. GUESTS ALLOWED : No add on guests, maximum of 10 patrons only. If you have booked and paid for only 6 guests but you want to add additional guests (up to maximum of 10) please notify us so we can adjust the rate per head accordingly. This applies even during your stay if additional guests arrive. No day visitors unless prior arrangement is made with host. MONKEYS: DO NOT FEED THEM. Monkeys are a problem, so please be aware and keep food and personal items packed away, even closing doors and windows if need be. NO SMOKING: No Smoking, Vaping, Hubbly bubblys or any recreational drugs allowed, inside or outside on any balconies. May smoke in the driveway only and discard the buts in the bins. NO MATRIC RAGE STUDENT BOOKINGS ALLOWED or groups under 23 years of age may book. BEDROOMS are comfortable. We love our furniture and furnishings as we know you will love too, please, no cushions besides those designated for outside, may be used other than on the furniture and beds they are intended for. Please don’t drop cushions or throws on the floor. Tables are provided. Should any soft furnishings i.e. blankets, décor, including makeup or hair dye on linen or towels, etc go missing or damaged, we will recharge to you the guest. This includes if unit is left dirty due to excessive revelries. Children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult at all times in pool area Breaking of glass by the pool can be very dangerous please be aware of this. Stairs in unit are slippery when wet please be careful. BEACH (before and after): Please make sure you lock the beach access gate when going to the beach and when returning this is for security purposes for your safety and others in the complex. Before coming into the unit, after being at the beach, please rinse beach sand off at the outside shower in the garden by the front door of unit. (PLEASE NOTE: NO SOAP (due to Municipal regulations) TO BE USED IN OUTSIDE SHOWER, ONLY WATER IS TO BE USED TO WASH OFF SAND) KEYS and REMOTES Key and remote loss/damage will be charged to you if not found. This will include locksmith costs. And lastly....Yes this is a compulsory rule: Have a chilled, happy relaxing holiday and come visit us again! - Throw rubbish away

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
