Plaza Cangrejo is situated in the heart of the town, right next to the beach and is considered one of the most emblematic and traditional squares in Nerja, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, making it a popular place for locals and tourists alike. It is an ideal place to sit and relax, or have a drink or a meal while enjoying the lively atmosphere. It is also a great place for people-watching. Numerous events and festivals are held in the square throughout the year, especially during the summer months, adding to its lively atmosphere.
Parking situation in the area:
In terms of parking, the public underground car park Plaza España is 700 metres from the area. Also, in Nerja you can park on the street for free. During the low season, finding a parking space is relatively easy due to the low traffic, but during the high season, we recommend using the public car parks to avoid any inconvenience.
For added convenience, you can book an airport transfer and/or request a welcome pack with cold drinks and tasty food.

The place is pretty much what's described, the only downside, and it's something that's not reported anywhere. It's the GREAT DIFFICULTY in finding parking, Nerja is literally hell to park especially in the summer months. That is, if you want to move the car a lot, or you should be thinking about paying for parking every day (which is also not easy because they are always full) or leave by giving yourself the idea of giving yourself 30 minutes around until you find parking. ( and not close to the apartment).
